  Liked the outdoors areas. Room for everyone in the house. The bedding needs updating. Owner and housekeeping were very accommodating. Home was centrally located to all attractions and venues.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

  We planned a family reunion at this home in Colorado Springs. The Waldo Canyon fire broke out the day we arrived and nearly all the attractions/venues we planned on seeing were closed. The house itself was exactly as described and well suited for a family reunion with lots to do right there at "home". It is well situated in relation to the main things any tourist would want to see. The owner of the home was most accomodating - even had the piano tuned for us since we planned to gather around it a lot. Unfortunately our week's vacation was reduced to 2 1/2 days because the fire suddenly threatened our neighborhood and we were forced to evacuate amidst thick smoke and bumper to bumper traffic. It was chaotic and scarey to say the least. Once again, Brian was most understanding and available to us. He even voluntarily refunded the rent for the days we were unable to stay. All in all - not the reunion we had been planning for so long. But we are all safe and enjoyed the little bit of time we did have in this vacation home.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Owner response: In 2013 Colorado Springs experienced the worst forest fires in the state's history and 32,000 people were evacuated including our vacation house guests. Fortunately our vacation house was not damaged in the fires that occurred and it was enjoyed by our guests the rest of the summer.

  This was exactly what we needed - - a home away from home for our family. LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! This was an AWESOME LOCATION for the many activities and outings we took. Plus, there are so many restaurants, stories, etc. nearby. We loved that we could walk to the corner bakery and pick up some bakery and a morning newspaper. This house was GREAT FUN for our teen kids and your adults (and us, older folks -- parents and grandparents, too!) -- the back yard patio, trampoline, and sports court is great! Plus pool table, video games, and ping pong inside.

  Had a great time here. This vacation home is in a perfect location. We enjoyed... Hiking/touring in the Garden of the Gods Annual Fiddle, Vittles & Vino Festival Wilson Ranch Pool - Great place, just 2 miles from the house. Horseback riding at the Garden of the Gods Visiting the Broadmoor Hotel Cog railway to the top of Pikes Peak (AMAZING!) Thanks for an amazing week!

  What an awesome place for our family reunion! Came in from VA, FL, NJ. Everyone had a great time on the patio sports/BB court. Gorgeous place. Best home we have ever stayed in. We hope to return again.

  The house was great for our 4 couples/families. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space - - including kids! Back yard was perfect for the kids to run around and play - - even my 2 year old. Enjoyed sitting out on the patio and enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

  Very nice place, very comfortable. It was worth the long drive. We loved having the trampoline. Great house to relax and spend time with extended family we don't get to see very often. Colorado is an amazing place. I hope other groups enjoy this home as much as we did.

  This is a really nice place with a great view! We loved staying here. I really wish we could move here and just live in this house. We had an amazing time here in Colorado. Hopefully we'll be back soon. Thanks for letting us stay in your house.

  We celebrated our 60th bdays with family members. We fell in love with this place and our grandkids loved it. This house was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for our large group ranging from 2 1/2 years old to 60. We loved the activities you can do at this house and we made lots of great memories together. This was a fabulous vacation filled with treasured memories.
