About the owner: Mary and I met in 1958 in Brazzaville and after having been working in France, Germany, Congo and Cameroun, mary, native of Bordeaux convinced me to move to this attractive region of France with its mild climate, good wines and a relaxed athmosphere, compared to that of Paris...
Why the Owner Chose Bordeaux:
Mary and I did buy this half derelict chateau hoping to produce wine again... but the cost of planting new vines, repairing store houses, and buying all the material was exceeding our means.
So we instead decided to implement holiday villas in the large and numerous buildinds of the estate.

This very large executive villa is situated in the former wine store and like our personal apartment, it takes avantage of the calm and of the unspoiled surrounding, in middle of 40 acres of lawn and woods, with no immediate neighbours to make noise.
