This property was wonderful. With 7 guests everybody had a comfortable place to sleep and plenty of room to move about without bumping into each other. The balcony had a beautiful view while you BBQ with their provided propane tank and grill. There's a nice bar to make cocktails and plenty of seats to lounge and socialize in. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook any kind of meal you want. We brought food for the weekend so we were surprised to see that the fridge had already been stocked with food. We weren't sure who's food it was, but we managed to fit our food in there as well. There were temperature differences throughout the house going from down stairs to up stairs but it wasn't something that a sweater can't fix. Also, when the pre-set heater manages to do it's thing, you don't notice it at all. Just to let you know, as someone who is at sea level or below for the majority of the year, the altitude plus the flights of stairs going up and down from the game room to the kitchen is exhausting. But that's just me. All in all it was a wonderful stay, any issues we had with the place were minor and brought to the attention of the owner. The owners are kind and quick to respond to communication. I'd recommend this property to my closest friends.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This is a very nice home in a quiet area in pine mountain. House is clean and well organized. Little things like fancy lotions in the bathroom made my day. You truly feel at home in this lovely cabin. If planning to visit my pinos you should know that it's about a 40 minute drive. Overall great place!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This modernized cabin was perfect for a couples retreat. All necessities were provided in case you had forgotten to bring something with you. It was spacious but not too big so we were able to enjoy every aspect of the house. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. I would rate this cabin a 10 out of 10. It was perfect!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We decided to get some R&R over the Memorial Day Weekend. After a quick drive up the 5 from Los Angeles, we arrived to a beautiful house! Upon walking into the house we were greeted by a spectacular view of snow capped mountains. Then we started to investigate the house. The carpeting is luxurious and house is decorated quite lovely and is fully stocked with all your cooking needs; pots, pans, utensils, blender, etc. The bedrooms are spacious, neat & clean and have & lovely bedding with extra sheets and blankets and the beds were very comfortable. There is a cozy fireplace upstairs AND downstairs with plenty of firewood on hand, which was a blessing considering it SNOWED one day! Which the game room was just what we needed spending a whole day indoors! We had a blast with the air hockey/ping-pong table and the WiFi was quite handy as well! The mountain air was crisp and fresh and the quiet & soothing atmosphere was much needed respite from normal din of the city. There are wonderful trails to hike (the waterfall trail is just amazing!) and the little town has all your needs (the pizza place was delicious!). Everything was well organized and easy to find. I cannot recommend this weekend gem enough!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had our annual raw food retreat with yoga and hiking at this beautiful home! I feel so lucky to have found it. Very upscale, surprising in a town that mostly has rustic cabins. Beautiful decor, comfortable beds, cozy fireplace, every convenience is provided! I loved how organized and easy it was to find everything from the firewood to the extra sheets and blankets. The view was fantastic. We had the best retreat ever!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

To celebrate the New Year and my birthday I came up here with a couple of friends during the early part of the week then the husband came up shortly after for the weekend. It was the perfect getaway for both parties. When you first walk in, it is nice, bright, open and cozy. We all commented on the carpet as our feet sunk in its luxuriousness. The kids were thrilled with the snow and the gals enjoyed the uphill walks (workin’ the glutes!). And the roomy and well-stocked (pots, pans, utensils, etc.) cookery! We didn’t leave for the 6 days we were here and cooked all our meals in the fabulous kitchen. Down pillows, down comforters, fires going upstairs and downstairs! The air crisp and the atmosphere quiet. A lovely escape without the long drive (only an hour and a half from L.A.!). I am looking forward to coming here during the spring or summertime. Can’t wait!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family had a relaxing vacation over Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen accommodated a large Thanksgiving meal with modern appliances. We spent the weekend in a warm cozy house thanks to a wood burning stove in the basement with plenty of firewood. While we enjoyed a spectacular view from the upstairs living room windows, our children kept themselves entertained below with air hockey, ping pong and satellite TV. The beds were super comfy with down comforters and big pillows.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
