  Wonderful, clean house with a great view and location. Went there for my buddy's bachelor party. Grilled out, played basketball at the owner's club, and hit up Diamond Jo Casino. Very relaxing atmosphere with almost anything you want within 15 miles. The pictures don't do this house justice!!!! What an amazing three days!!!

• Rainy ski weekend

  It poured rain on December 15 this year, but we still had a marvelous time. The kids swam at the pool instead and the next day the slopes were open. The house was great for a large group - we really enjoyed the space. We had to go back to the store for matches and extra fire starters to start a fire in the fireplace. Other than that the house was outfitted very well. Put light sleepers in the basement - the walls are kind of thin for the folks sleeping upstairs. Everything was sparkling clean. The hot tub was fantastic. Would love to visit in the summer to take advantage of the spacious screened room.

  The house was perfect for a girls getaway weekend. Each bedroom had it's own bath and the hot tub was large and looked brand new. The tv was a little challenging to figure out, but if you had a teenager with you, I'm sure it would have been a breeze. The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes and gadgets you could need. Just be aware that you need to bring your own shampoo and soap for the shower. Not a problem at all, just something to know.

  Although the property did fit our needs, and was clean, it was in need of some TLC! The bed linens were old and in need of replacement, at least one of the toilets needed to be tightened down, the drive only fit 2 vehicles for parking, The house just plain showed it's age. We had a great weekend but were a little disappointed with the house, we've certainly stayed in better.

  Owner response: We were very sorry to hear that Haven did not meet your expectations. As you can see by all of the other reviews it has been a stellar home for us with nothing less than 5 stars. The new appliances, new hot tub and new washer/dryer all speak volumes about the home. Haven provides parking in the front as well as parking on the street so the parking is unlimited in that location. Also just a quick call to our maintenance staff and we would have had that toilet issue rectified for you. We will evaluate the linens and replace any that do not meet our high standards.   We had a wonderful time. Everything was exceptionally clean and all our needs were met. We couldn't have been happier! 4 Couples with a long overdue get together and all of us said we'd love to return. Thanks for a great experience.

  The house at Haven Lane was absolutely fabulous and the information and directions provided were perfect, nothing left to worry about. We had a wonderful time at my nephew's wedding. Thanks! You made it easy!!

  So I will say our 5 days at the home on 10 Haven Lane at Galena could not have been better. A beautiful home, great location on a quiet street, lots of room, and of course the hot tub. We would like to visit again

  We stayed at this place February 16-20, 2012. Had wonderfull experince. The layout of the house is excelent if you are planning to bring little kids or just need your space. Everything was clean and neat. Enough bedding supplies and kitchen utensiles. Very very good hosue, close to everything. Perfect price

  We rented this home for my dad's birthday. There were 8 adults and 5 kids. This house was the perfect home to rent! This was enough room for us to be together, but we could also spread out when we needed to! The interior was nicely kept and the furniture was very comfortable. And we also enjoyed having the hot tub. I can't say enough nice things about this home! We definitely didn't want to leave!

  We enjoyed our getaway with our "second family". We loved the huge, new hot tub, the fully stocked kitchen area, the hot tub upstairs, The 2 large rooms gave us versatility so we were not "on top of each other" with 5 teens and 4 adults. The large windows are freeing to look through, and the home clean and well kempt. The house decor is contemporary and open. The bedrooms are large and spacious. The staff stopped in with an additional propane even though the other one was still functional. I would definately choose this location, We were even able to use the resort game room.

  We found this property to be very well maintained and super clean. Great location near the entrance of Eagle Ridge -- easy drive to golf and owner's club. We often rent in Galena and we think this was the nicest place we've stayed w/ a 4 bedroom/4 bath layout. The dining table seats 10 - which was great for our group of 8 adults and 2 toddlers. Beds were very comfortable, hot tub was huge and really beautiful! The owners had left a number of large beach towels for our use which we really appreciated. The open kitchen had a nice large work area and was well stocked w/ everything we needed. We really enjoyed the screened porch in the evenings and overall this was a great experience. Things we'd fix: sofa cushions in living room are well worn. Hot tub needs a step in order to get in w/ ease. These small things aside, we really LOVED our stay!!!

  I rented the house for my family. It was excellent....very clean, very well appointed, plenty of room for everyone, lots of dining space and deck space. It felt like being in a giant tree house as it was surrounded by trees on three sides. Everyone loved it. Grill and hot tub worked great.

  We rented this beautiful house for January's ski weekend and we really loved it. It was exceptionally clean and homey. Our group consisted of 5 adults and 3 kids and we have more that enough space to relax and play after the whole day of skiing. We warmed up by the fireplace. Kitchen was well equipped and very convenient with big dinning table. Plus, it was so great to have 4 bathrooms! We strongly recommend it.
