  After searching for a week, we went ahead and booked this "Tuscan Villa" on Lake Travis. Immediately after we entered our rental condominium, we know IT IS THE ONE. The living room, both the bedrooms and kitchen were very well decorated. The view of Lake Travis from inside the condo was great and most importantly the amenities in heated pool, swimming pool were all a bonus given November weather in Austin. Hank was always available to assist over the phone whenever we had any questions regarding the condo. Lovely place, great owner and affordable price..... what more do we need to plan a vacation!! Overall, we had a great experience and would love to visit again.

  When we first drove up to the property, we were blown away by how nice it was. Then, when we got to our home for the weekend we couldn't stop talking about it- how beautiful the furniture and decorations were and how great the set-up was for a fun getaway weekend :) And not to mention- Hank was fantastic at getting us all situated with everything we needed. Thanks for sharing your home with us Hank!

  Good customer service. Over all the villa was very comfortable, convenient, and very clean. It was in a great area and close to most everything. The only negative thing I have to say about the villa is the colors could be brighter but that's my own personal preference. Their could be better lighting in the Master bathroom. Basically you provided pretty much everything. We enjoyed out stay and hope to stay again next year. I certainly would recommend your property to others.

  We loved our stay at the beautiful Villa, it was even better than what the pictures show it to be. The only down side was that there was no TV in the master bedroom. We are big night time tv watchers, especially when the Rangers are playing ;) The pool and lake view was awesome. We would recommend this place in a heartbeat!!!! Hank was very easy to work with as well.

  Owner response: Thanks for the wonderful review. We have installed a flat screen T.V. in the master bedroom now. Initially, we didn't want to take away from the romantic ambience of the master. European philosophy is that the bedroom is for love and sleep! However, resulting from a few continued suggestions, we added the TV to the bedroom. Saludos! Hank

  My family rented this luxury Villa, "Texas in an Italian style," for a week over Christmas, and we loved it! Hank was a gracious host, very timely with answers. The Tuscan Villa's plush sofa and chair in the living room and the huge master bed, with jacuzzi in the huge bathroom, and great view of Lake Travis from both of the big living room and bedroom windows made it a delightful stay for all of us. The paintings and wall hangings, along with the wood cabinets and ceiling beams, gave it a real Italian Renaissance feel. While it was cool outside, we enjoyed real comfort inside the villa (with a very quiet and gentle heat system). The huge community pool, with a big powered hot tub as well as a hot dry sauna (and adjacent exercise room overlooking the lake, as well as a treatment spa) made us feel like "the Texas Coast in Spring." The two parking spaces close to the elevator from ground to the first floor location was convenient (with two unloading spaces and a cart by the elevator). The lake level was low, given the year-long drought, so it was hard to get down to the water over the limestone rocks to fish -- but I did catch several bass there. The kitchen was beautiful, with lots of electronics, and stone hearth. The TV was enormous and very clear. No complaints at all -- we will certainly rent it again.

• Better than expected!!!!

  We were at this delightful villa for two nights in late October. The pictures online do not do it justice. The layout is absolutely beautiful. All of the appliances are modern and much better than I would expect in a rental. The patio was large and had a perfect view of the pool. The master bathroom was my favorite place equipped with a jacuzzi tub and beautiful decor and candles galore. The kitchen was quaint but fully equipped. The furniture was not only beautiful, but extremely comfortable. The master bed was extremely soft, so we preferred the guest bed because of back issues. The resort was really pretty. The water levels were extremely low but the lake was still enchanting as was the waterfall on the property. We visited the Flat Creek Winery where we had a tasting. Our hostess, Sharron was the sweetest gal and very knowledgable about the wines. The wines were very reasonable and we took home two bottles for less than $40. We also visited the Oasis restaurant. The views at sunset were breathtking but the very young, playfull, non-attentive staff took away from the experience. There were less than 30 people in a restaurant that could easily seat 300, but the service was still poor. We had lunch at a local mexican-food restaurant, Maria's Bar and Grill. The service and the food were great. I booked services at the spa on the resort. I booked a body scrub, body wrap, and massage. The room was very cold, as was the mud and the scrub. I was very uncomfortable during both, but the massage made up for it. Willow's specialty is definitely massage. I have had many, but none with as much skill and precision. Not the average fufu massage, but a real, therapeutic, walk away renewed massage. We took advantage of the gym and the indoor hot-tub. Both were nice, but there were no towels available for use at the indoor pool and hot-tub so be sure to bring your own. I was not impressed with the lady working in the gym area. I knocked on her closed door to ask about towels. She yelled through the door to please just leave her alone before opening it. I was a little taken aback by that. She was not very friendly. I had the misfortune of dealing with her again when I returned for my massage, and she presented herself the same. I would definitely recomend the villa to anyone. We were alone, but we have already decided that we are returning with the children. Hank provided easy instructions and directions. We had everything we needed.

  We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. We stayed here from the 24th till the 30th of August. Time went by way too fast as it was so relaxing. The view from the balcony is amazing. We loved spending time at the outdoor pools. Our 2 year old daughter wanted to go outside every evening to go and see all the deer that walk around early in the evening. It's paradise at Lake Travis. Compliments for the owners because the condo is really nicely decorated (loved the master bathroom...) Thank you for sharing this gorgeous place with us.   We had a wonderful time and the Villa is beautiful, it had everything we needed.l we enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna! All the ammenties were great! We will be back to stay again! Thanks for helping make our trip very special,It was so easy to rent. My family was amazed by the whole experince! we travel often and been to many high end resorts, this was so much like home. The pictures do not do it justicem, love the Tuscan look!

  We had a girls weekend here and all five of us LOVED IT!! Hank was great and easy to work with, as well. The place truly makes you feel like you're in a 5 STAR accommodation. The weekend flew by too quickly and we wish we could've stayed longer. We highly recommend it and would definitely go back!!

  This villa is FABULOUS! Words can't describe how beautiful it is. The pictures don't do it justice! I had the best time! The view was unbelievable. Hank has impeccable taste! He's a great person to work with. I have recommended this villa to my friends from all over! Doesn't get any better than this!
