With the exception of a few cockroachs it was good. They came and sprayed for them that week. The house was clean and neat and met all of our expectations.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.
Owner response: Our house works well for Golf trip rentals with our 4 bedroom and three bathrooms. Perfect for a golf foursome group. Our location in the south is sub-tropical and palmetto bugs are typical of the area. We have a pest control service in the house monthly. Thank you again for staying at our house.

85 Governor's Road was the perfect choice for a long weekend getaway with the family. The house is lovely, spacious, comfortable and has all of the amenities of a luxury rental. We had a great time for our first trip to Hilton Head! Love the Sea Pines area and enjoyed our stay here. The house is well furnished and in a nice quiet location and yet so close to everything! House is big enough for everyone to enjoy their privacy if mulitple couples stay. Very much enjoyed breakfast on the back deck. The bike trails on the island were excellent! The beds slept comfortably and towels/linens are provided. Excellent owner to work with and will definitely be a repeat customer on our future visits to HHI!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The home suited our needs perfectly. Plenty of room for two families and our Golden Retriever. With three full baths there was never a wait and the 92 gallon water heater proved more than adequate for lots of showers and clothes washing. Great location for bicycle riding. Our family stayed April 3 - 10, 2004. The house is set up perfectly for a large family. The master is downstairs, and has a king-sized bed. The second bedroom downstairs has a queen, and both rooms have their own full bath. The two bedrooms upstairs each have 2 twin beds and share a bathroom - perfect for kids. The kitchen is well stocked, and the dining and family room area is spacious. Being able to bring our two cocker spaniels was wonderful.
