Great time at this Alpine condo. It was the perfect set-up for our extended family- grandparents in the master on the main floor, and my immediate family downstairs (husband and I in one bedroom, kids in twin bedrooms in another). Everything as expected. Fabulous location near Alpine Meadows and walking distance natural sledding hill- even the sleds in the outdoor closet for us to borrow during our stay.Did you find this review helpful? We had a great time at this condo for my Birthday and we are already planning to come back next month for some powder turns! We were able to ski and and out of Alpine with minimal hiking and advanced skiing. This is a great spot for families or a group of young adults looking to ski and relax for the weekend at Alpine. It was better than we expected and can't wait to return!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I stayed here during the early summer for a week of hiking, boating, and dining out with friends, and it was the best vacation I had in a long time. The listing was very accurate: this condo is close to everything without being near the loud crowds, and it was spacious and clean and well appointed. Everything worked wonderfully, and there was a beautiful deck outside without comfortable chairs, from which we could look at the jagged peaks of Alpine Meadows. The owners were very friendly and helpful in giving directions, and there was even wine waiting for us when we arrived. Every possible time of Tahoe attraction is nearby: river rafting, hiking, swimming, boating, skiing, partying in Lake Tahoe. It's great for kids and adults. We hiked some of the more popular trails around the West Shore as well as part of the little seen Tahoe Rim Trail. There were tons of restaurants, both inexpensive and fine, nearby, and plenty of bars and cafes nearby, too. If you don't want to go out for meals, there is a kitchen that is well stocked with any cooking implements or spices you need to cook. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet with plenty of bedding and a good heating system for colder alpine nights. I am definitely going back there in the winter for skiing with my sister's large family and again in the summer for some serious hiking/relaxing time. I already have recommended it to family and friends!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our party consisted of three adults and we had engagements in Truckee, Tahoe City and at Squaw Creek Resort. This condo was the perfect location for all of our outings. It was clean and well maintained. We liked the funky 70s look! ;-) It had everything we needed and it was a quiet location. Beautiful view out the patio. Ron was great to work with. I would recommend this property to anyone and would definitely book it again next time we go to the Tahoe area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Why the Owner Chose Alpine Meadows:
We had been staying all over the Lake Tahoe area for well over 25 years, both in the South Lake Tahoe area and the north shore. Alpine Meadows was the ultimate peaceful zone with all of the ski, bike, hike and water activities readily accessible. The location is close to our favorite activities.
