Panzanello is a young enterprise which distinguishes itself by
the rigor and elegance of its image. The project of Andrea and
Iole Sommaruga was born from a union of tradition and
modernity: a limited quantity of bottles which permits looking
after the smallest detail in every phase of production, aiming
for the quality of the product to meet the demands of a
customer base which enjoys wine and its culture.
OUR PASSION
The Azienda Agricola Panzanello (the Panzanello Estate) is located in
Panzano in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico, half-way between
Florence and Siena, in a strategic and panoramic position.
Panzanello extends over 110 hectars in which wide valleys alternate
with gentle hills cultivated with vines, olives and thick woods.
The estate also includes an old Villa, which is still the home of the
owners, the recently restored cellars, a cozy tasting room and terraces
from which one can enjoy a magnificent, typically Tuscan view.
OUR PRIDE
Thanks to its constant commitment, Panzanello was recognized as an
organic farm in 1998, and this achievement is proof of a continuing
effort to respect the customer and the environment.
From the vines to the cellar, from the land to the vats, the link that
unites the hearts and the minds of those who work and live at
Panzanello is their love of the land and their passion for wine.
Every single bottle is the body and soul of a story that began in
1964 and has continued through the years.
