  We had a very enjoyable week at this apartment. Great location near Subway, Union Square markets and some supermarkets. |The owner, Claire was most helpful in letting us know where to find these prior to our coming, and also recommended a car service which we used twice. A very clean apartment, with good facilities and some pantry items for us to use. The bed was also very comfortable. Would stay there again. Thank you Claire.   The apartment was as pictured - and nicely decorated! It's across the street from a Catholic high school/church but you would never know it, noise-wise. Just the right size for two people, with tons of closet space. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware - even a French press coffeemaker, which we used every morning for our 10-day stay. Very close to bus and subway stops, Union Square, the Strand bookstore, and lots of shops, supermarkets and restaurants - Steak Frites was a great place for brunch.The owner and super were very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend this studio apartment to friends who want to feel like native New Yorkers.

  This was a great little apartment! It was exactly as described and in good condition. The location was perfect with restaurants nearby and Union Square a short walk away. It was also in a very nice and safe feeling part of Manhatten. The only thing missing was an electric coffee pot, which we purchased and left behind- so it may have one now! The owner was quick to respond to emails and very organized and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

  I just got back yesterday from NYC after staying here. The apartment is exactly as advertised. No surprises at all... except for how surprisingly responsive the apartment owner was with any questions! I had her cell phone (which I never had to use) but a few email questions were answered very quickly and were helpful. It was my first time using homeaway.com and it was a great first impression. This apartment was comfortable, affordable and very convenient. A subway stop at the end of the block... various food and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The neighborhood feels very safe and even the other tenants in the building seemed cordial. I truly had a taste of living in NYC for a few days and it was great. Much better than staying at a hotel in my opinion in this case. Excellent restaurants to try: Gradisca (italian), Buddakon (Asian) and Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak house. Not cheap ($$$ - $$$$) but WOW! I think I gained 5 pounds in 4 days ;-) I will be back and wouldn't hesitate to stay in this apartment again.

  My 15 year old son and I stayed there for three nights this past week and really enjoyed our stay. The owner communicates well and has someone on-site to assist if she's not available. The place is exactly as it's described and is located extremely well, especially for transportation. The Union Square train station is only blocks away and the 14th street stop for the BDFM trains has an entrance on 16th street about a 1/2 block from the condo. We used the NYCMate subway app to get around town very quickly. The neighborhood is clean and safe at any time of the day or night. ANYTHING you need is within a very short distance from this place. We cooked breakfast every morning in the condo and had everything we needed, including utensils, pans, etc. The condo has a nice wifi setup, plenty of blankets and towels along with bathroom necessities. My son slept on the air mattress which worked very nicely. The interior of the condo is older and has a flaw or two but nothing that impacted our stay. The location itself outweighs everything. Walk the area and you'll understand. On the last day, the owner allowed us to leave our bags since we had a late flight so we could enjoy the city all day. We would definitely stay here again!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  This apartment was exactly as described. Clean, airy, well maintained, with some necessities in the kitchen, ie. tea, sugar, cooking all, and a few spices. Bed comfortable, lots of pillows. Hair dryer available, plenty of storage and hanging space. Close to 2 subway lines, one direct to Times Square, and just 2 minute walk away. Owner very helpful and accessible on cell phone. Union Square 5 minute walk, with food markets Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat. Supermarket closeby. Lounge comfortable. Felt very safe in this area. Have no hesitation in recommending.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

  The apt. was very much as advertised. Unfortunalely the elevator was being repaired. It was clean and modestly furnished. The bed was comfortable. The sofa was a little tight for sleeping but there was an air matress available. The location was great for shopping, dining, and the subway. I would stay agian

  The apartment is very nice and clean. There was a double bed and a sofa with a lot of pillows and blancket, soap, paper toilet and towels. The bed is very comfortable, even the sofa (my friend told me..) Is very near to Union Square and in the same street there is a laundry and tube station, a lot of restaurants and the Union Square market.. very nice! The owner is very nice and corteous, always available for everything. The bathroom is confortable and clean, with a big mirror. We don't use the kitchen but is functional. So... if you need an apartment in New York, evaluated this! Andrea

Check in is between 3pm and 6pm. If an early check in is required and it is possible a fee of $30 is payable upon check in. A $25 fee will also be payable to any check in's after 7pm.
