Spacious Waterfront Home — Three bedrooms — 1 king, 1 queen, 1 full; plus 2 small rooms each with a set of bunk beds, and two full baths. Features include a great room adjoining a lovely sun room on the main level. Kitchen, dining area, family room, one bedroom and screened porch are located on the lower level.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, glassware, silverware, coffee pot, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, blender, and mixer. There is a washer/dryer, two color TVs, VCR, DVD, central air and heat. Outside, you can enjoy the gas grill, picnic table, horseshoe pit, fire pit, deck, floating dock and two covered docks with open area for swimming and sunbathing.
Located in a quiet cove just off the widest part of the main channel across from the lighthouse.

My wife, son, grandson,& myself enjoy a restful and relaxing vacation which included fishing,swimming,fishing,sightseeing,fishing,visiting relatives,and yes more fishing. Hooper Haven was comfortable and clean. Sue was friendly and accommodating, we really felt at home.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a great time fishing off dock out back. There was lots of room to move around in the house. The owners are very sweet and helpful. We would rent this house again for sure. Lots of extras... Joan

This was our third time renting at SML, first time at this property. So far this was our favorite. Helpful and friendly owners to deal with. Pictures on internet were accurate and up to date. Quiet cove with plenty of room to keep a boat. House had everything we needed. Great location. Very close to a marina. This marina was reasonable and very helpful and friendly to deal with. Great choice for our 4th of July week since the marina was where the fireworks went off. Just a short 10 minute walk and we didn't have to deal with the traffic or pay for parking! We would definitely rent this property again and probably will the next time we come to the lake. Thanks for everything Suzanne and Mitch.

Property was fairly accurate in it's description. The house was clean and all appliances were operational. Cookware was sufficient for quick, easy prep meals but frustrating for those who "really cook". Owners were friendly and helpful. Water level at docks was extremely low, should have been advised in advance of this. Had to tie up our boat in makeshift fashion as there was only one cleat. Few restaurants in the area, but food was good and reasonably priced. Dish network very limited and not user friendly. Nearest marina is 5 minute drive, 2 launch ramps with charge of $5 to launch (honor system). Marina owners very reasonable and helpful. Huge, Huge lake!

House was clean and had all amenities needed, however, the beds need to be updated. Was close to marina, which was nice since we stayed over July 4th week. Not in a real wide cove, but still private enough for fishing and swimming.
