  I have been having girls weekends with my five best friends since 1979 and decided this year we would rent a cabin. The immaculate cabin has everything you need! The owners were GREAT to work with! The area was beautiful and filled with wonderful little shops. We will definitely come back again! We all had a wonderful time and recommend this cabin! Thanks Steve and Anna!

  Our family of 10 (kids and grandkids ) had a magical time - the accommodations fit us perfectly and we were so pleased with our time together. The lake and area is gorgeous, so pristine and natural. The cabin was well-suited for our needs and the beds were so comfortable. It was such a gift to us to have a place like this to celebrate our time together. Thank you, Anna and Steve for creating this lovely space.

  I was very nice and clean. The boat was a hit with my 4 boys. Hope to go again sometime this spring .

  There were a few minor set backs however our overall experience was really good. The set backs included that the cabin was a short distance from the water. We had to walk a little ways to get to the pier and we could not see the lake from the cabin. The wi-fi did not work at all and the cable was sketchy but that was to be expected. The cabin was beautiful and we had a great time exploring the surrounding cities. Our dogs loved the room to run. I would definately go back!

  This wonderful cabin was just as billed. Large bedrooms, wonderful loft, and great updated kitchen. If you are looking to get out on the water, the pontoon was fantastic, started right up every time!

  Could never get internet connection which was advertised. This was a big deal to us. Could not see lake at all. Very small and weedy lake. Very clean and well maintained cabin. Great deal for the money with boat included. Beautiful location. Very private. So appreciate that the cabin allows dogs.

  Owner response: Connie, We really wish you would have contacted us in regards to the WiFi, the modem most likely needed to be rebooted which is as simple as turning the switch off and then on again. We encourage all of our guests to contact us with any issues as we have the expertise to solve them. Our cabin is very secluded and private, it sits up from the lake which is not visible with the summer leaves. With this in mind, we do not list it as having lake views. The lake is around 300 acres and the weedy portions are part of what makes it a great fishing lake. We've caught some huge largemouth bass in those weeds. We are sorry our cabin did not rate 5 stars in your opinion as we want all of our guests to have a great experience with us in the northwoods. However we do appreciate your honest feedback and hope you will come stay with us again. Steve and Anna

  Thank you for renting to a bunch of Red Hat ladies--15 in number. There was so much to see and do. The lodge was great and what a great lake with so many activities. We will pass the word onto our friends. Contact with owner was great and helpful---made our four days great.

  very nice place to stay. the cabin felt like home! very clean and well maintained.a short walk down the trail puts you on a small quiet lake with lots of panfish! the pontoon boat provided by the owners was awesome.my family really enjoyed time on the pontoon.wish we could have stayed longer.already have plans to go back in the fall to see those fall colors!

  but only if you want a terrific stay at one of the nicest "cabins" around. Small lake, but beautiful, loved the sound of the loons at dusk. The pontoon boat, which I initially thought wasn't a big deal, was a big deal. Our children and grandchildren loved this, from sunrise to sunset it was "can we go out on the boat?" Fishing was so much fun. The northwoods experience is amazing in this place. I told friends I had forgotten what "quiet" sounds like. It can be found here. The owners were very helpful and kind. My daughter and her husband stayed in the loft with their 3 children. That became the happenin' place. Some of us kayaked on the Brule, found a terrific beach on Lake Superior coming back from Bayfield. Stay here. You won't be disappointed.

  We had a great stay at this place. The cabin is very nice, very clean and well maintained. The furniture and finishes are very up to date. The added bonus of the pontoon was perfect. Our kids and friends were very comfortable running around the property, swimming on the very quiet lake and playing flash light tag at night. The deck on the cabin is very enjoyable and can accomodate a lot of people for a great barbeque when the weather is right! I would strongly recommend this to anyone that is looking for a quiet setting on a very nice quiet lake. Their is also a great bar and restaurant with excellent food located accross the lake, staff is very friendly as well.
