Kihei Alii Kai is an excellent property across the street from Kamaole Beach #1 in the Kihei area of Maui. This one bedroom/one bath condo has an ocean view from your own lanai ( private balcony). A beautifully maintained, fully furnished and exceptionally equipped unit, including a washer and dryer. The kitchen has a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave and all the equipment needed to prepare a sumptuous meal. A table is set up on the lanai for your dining pleasure as well. Also, for your convenience beach towels and chairs, a cooler, an umbrella, and boogie boards are provided.
The complex has a sparkling blue pool, hot tub, sauna and tennis courts. As well as two gas BBQ areas to grill your favorite meal.
Kihei Alii Kai is in a magnificent location, easy walking distance to superb restaurants, shops, coffee house, postal service, video, liquor, health food stores and gorgeous beaches. It is just minutes away from the famous Wailea with fantastic shopping at The Shops of Wailea, also several championship golf courses, awesome beaches, diving and snorkeling sites. We are thoroughly impressed by this unit. It was extremely clean, nice comfortable furniture and an amazing view!!! We brought our three children on this trip. We werent aure what to expect...but we had the most spectacular time. The short walk to the Kamaole beach I was so nice. We went their for sunrises and sunsets almost everyday. We rented snorkel equipment from Boss Frogs which was on our way to the beach, really convenient. We walked to local restaurants. We loved FREDS Mexican and their yummy margaritas :). Cafe O Lei was a little pricey, but had delicious fish and sushi. Get their Local Girl martini :) The condo was set up perfectly. We only had one beach towel and the property mgr then sent us three more. The only downfall...not the owners fault...is that the whole building is very difficult to maneuver with three little kids, stroller, beach stuff, etc...as it is far from elevator and there are sooooooo many stairs. We went to Costco on the first day after landing, then headed to the condo...yikes. My husband was so tired after all the stairs and so many trips! I just told him that he can now eat and drink anything he wants because he just burned so many calories!!! The positive side to so many stairs is the amazing ocean view from the lanai :)) Overall, we would love to bring our family back again and again...we just won't hit Costco first but head straight to the BEACH!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
