  This was my first VRBO experience and what a great one it was. This is a Charming Cottage tucked away behind the main house. Ian (the owner) was great. When we got there the place was way beyond my expectations. If you don't know the Castro district it can be a culture shock. The night life was a real experience. It was such a fun night of seeing a different world. I would rent this cottage again in a heart beat. Parking was tough but you just have to be patient. It is San Francisco. Smart cars are the way to go. One of our favorite things about the stay was "Milk". Milk was the owners cat and he is the size of a medium sized dogs. He stayed with us all night long. He was the bomb. Next time I visit "The City" again I hope this place is open. Thanks Ian

  Beautiful Cottage in the heart of the Casrto. Nice place to relax or enjoy the night life. Fully stocked with everything you need. I'd recommend it to anyone instead of staying in a hotel. Just a block away from the Castro main strip.

  Fellow VRBO owner (from Los Angeles) vacationed at this vacation cottage. The pictures do not due this rental justice. It is much nicer "in person". The location is fantastic, the cottage is new-well maintained-clean and the owner is extremely accomodating, hospitable and personable. If you are going to SF and staying in the Castro...stay here!

  I just returned home from my first VRBO experience and I don't know if I just got lucky but this little cottage has to be one of the best value for money properties on the list! Immaculate and stylish, the Cottage was an absolute pleasure to come 'home' to after long days out exploring the City. The Cottage has recently been remodeled top to bottom and the open yet cozy floor plan is furnished with perfectly proportioned furniture that works in the space. There is a pretty courtyard area with a barbecue and patio table and chairs and even an outdoor heater. The Cottage is completely secure and has it's own gated entry. Ian, my owner/manager was fantastic. He lives in the building at the front and is always available by phone. The Cottage is located on a quiet street but is only a 2 minute walk to the Castro district with it's fantastic shops and restaurants and just a few minutes interesting walk to Dolores Park. Parking is the only issue. I found a place on 21st/Lexington for $22 (24hrs) which was a 15 minute brisk walk or 20 minute stroll. I highly recommend this Cottage in the Castro and will certainly stay again.
