Sycamore Place is located on Sycamore Point, a private paved drive, directly off the main county road. 100 ft. of sandy lake frontage provides great swimming, sun bathing, fishing and water sports. Dock space is provided for all your 'toys'. Two marina's are available on the lake. Pine Lake is a chain of 4 lakes that covers 660 acres connected by channels. The home was built in 1937 and has been fully remodeled with all the modern necessities without compromising the 'original' cottage. Two bedrooms - one with a queen size bed, the other with set of bunks and a single bed. The living room and porch have couches for added sleeping. The cottage has a full basement for any additional storage. The lot is large, plenty of parking, fire pit provided and a paddle boat. Email us for a brochure with pictures of all the rooms. Within minutes there are all the necessary shopping areas, specialty antique shops in Plainwell, coffee shops and golf courses. This is a smoke free/pet free cottage.
Pine Lake
Pine Lake is a series of 4 lakes, connected by channels for miles of boat riding pleasure and touring. It is a 60 acre lake, very quiet during the week, more activity on the weekends.
There are nearby golf courses, restaurants, unique antique shopping, coffee shopping and the home of the famous Plainwell Ice Cream!

Pictures don't show the warm this cabin exudes. Our extended family of 5 adults and 6 month old baby had plenty of room to sleep and shared the one bath with no difficulty other than timing showers so we weren't taking 5 showers all in a row. The cozy (in feel, not in size) porch was lovely and great for playing board games or just sitting around talking while gazing out at the lake. Beautiful lakefront property and the paddleboat got plenty of use. The fire pit on the shore looked inviting but we did not have time to use it. Lily of the Valley were in bloom around the cabin and the owner had a bouquet of them on the window sill in the kitchen when we arrived. The cabin and the entire lot was extremely clean and comfortable. We were there on a perfectly beautiful southwestern MI May weekend and, although the lake water was cold, the lake was peaceful and quiet.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time - the cottage is in GREAT condition. Everything you could want is right there for you! We can't wait to come back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
