We just spent a windy week in your darling cottage and I can attest to the fact that it is cozy! We were very warm, had a great time and everything was top notch. The internet was great, cell phone reception is great, tv is great and the kitchen lacks for nothing. It was too windy to enjoy the kayaks but they're there, under the house. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with lots of jumping off points into the sound for all kinds of water sports. We watched wind surfers right outside our door every day. The cottage feels like family and we appreciate you sharing it with strangers. Thanks for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cottage. Sitting out on the deck, the views are wonderful and the ever changing light over the sound is a visual delight. Speaking of sitting out on the deck - almost a bug free experience, thanks to the colony of Puple Martins living in the houses on the pole. We are big fans of outdoor showers - that was a real bonus. Your cottage has the best equipped kitchen on the OBX. Also, having a kayak available was great.

I couldn't say anything bad about this experience. The home was beautiful, the view was beautiful the area was beautiful and anything you could hope to want stocked in the home was there (not to mention an immensely stocked kitchen). The area is extremely peaceful. You can tell many people retire in this area, along with a few other homes which are used to be rented out as vacation homes. Everyone in the community area is respectful of each other and we found our favorite thing to be sitting out on the porch enjoying the sun, view, and the peacefulness away from our crazy city lives. Another favorite amenity was the wonderful heated outdoor shower. Amazing. These people thought of everything from kayaks to beach chairs to DVD's to chilled beer mugs. Everything was clean and tidy as described. We did not want to leave. The owner was extremely accommodating and understanding with our initial hesitation to it being a scam because the price seemed to good to be true and the deal was found online. They provided full information to prove the opportunity was legitimate and were patient with our research. It is evident the owners put a lot of pride and care into this home and in renting it out to those fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in this cozy water-front vacation home. We both hope to go back again.

Everything about this home is awesome. The kitchen was absolutely wonderful and more than accommodating. The day we arrived we were slightly disappointed in the size of the cottage. Staying here changed our outlook. We thought the kitchen was outstanding and loved all the dishes, glasses and other kitchen items provided. We had a beautiful week weather wise except for a very scary storm Thursday. The house really did sway in the wind. The deck was so enjoyable. The scenery made it all so relaxing. All in all, we had a good time. Didn't catch fish in the 4 PLUS fishing tournament but the beach days were perfect. Good luck! with cozy cottage.

We have just finished a great week in the Outer Banks. The weather was perfect - warm enough to swim, plenty of winds for kites. The house is just the right size for our family of 5 plus our dog and guinea pig. The kitchen is well stocked. We used the waffle iron several times and made chocolate chip cookies. We were very comfortable. For a suggestion, Jim requests a bench in the shower to dry his feet - (this has been added on 5/30/11 by the owner). Thank you for sharing your home. We had a great time and hope to come back again.

Coffee in the morning, cocktails in the evening watching the spectacular sunrises & sunsets from the large deck. This cozy well kept home had everything we were looking for in a relaxing vacation. Our mini dog O.P. enjoyed his daily walks basking in the attention of the very friendly neighbors. We put the single beds together to make a king bed, (brought linen for a king), the mattresses were very comfortable. A short drive to enjoy our day at the beach. A variety of restaurants and site seeing and a local market for what we needed. Loved the well stocked kitchen, views from the sliding doors and large TV. Looking forward to staying here again. This house was very clean. It has everthing that you would need in the kitchen for making a meal from scratch. It has an array of bar glasses and we really liked the seashore kitchen theme. We were surprised that we could see the sound from 3 sides. The place is just as described with a little more. I enjoyed reading on the deck in the sun and Jim enjoyed the fishing each day. The owners were prompt in getting back to us for all of our questions and they were also very accomadating. They even told us where the dog dishes were since we forgot ours for Rufus. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back next year.

About the owner: We are from the mountains of central Pennsylvania but have always had an attraction to the water. Many of our memories are of our pleasant times spent at the Outer Banks. One of the first places we stayed here is just 2 blocks from our cottage. That was during the beginning of our courtship. As the years passed we kept coming back here to the Outer Banks to enjoy the quiet, clean beaches and to have time away to recharge. We saw the need to invest in our cozy cottage for future generations to enjoy as well. We are only to happy to share our cozy cottage with our guests. When we stay here it feels like home. Our dog Tipper usually comes along too as you will see in the additional pictures. One of us is a scuba diver and the other a kite boarder so this place offers the best of both. We hope that you will create memories as we have done. Relax, recharge and enjoy your stay! Kindest regards! Jim and Mary

                      Why the Owner Chose Frisco:
We have been enjoying the Outerbanks for over a decade and for the 2011 season we are offering our newly acquired vacation home for others to enjoy. We have found Frisco to be one of the nicest areas of the Outer Banks. The warm waters soothe and gentle breezes relax. We appreciate the beautiful beaches and how natural and uncommercialized the area is.
