  Al estar alejado del centro de Santa Teresa, es un lugar tranquilo donde uno puede estar en contacto con la naturaleza y descansar. La playa esta cerca y es absolutamente hermosa.La casa es agradable, amplia y comoda. Esta totalmente equipada. Tiene una piscina pequena para relajarse y recomiendo pasar las tardes de lluvia en las hamacas de afuera, ojala leyendo.

  7 of us rented the three large rooms in mid-November and had an amazing time. The rooms were huge - two ground floor suites were very large. One room fit my husband, myself, my three year old, and the owners even provided a crib for my baby. We could have even fit one more child on the top bunk. The outdoor shower was amazing. Loved that I could see monkeys in the tree from the shower!! I didn't think I would use the pool, being so close to the beach, but that was a must with our three year old!! Everything provided was wonderful, great to have access to the kitchen, especially with hungry little ones. It was also nice to have daily housekeeping, not always provided in house rentals!! Also, our housekeeper also watched my children a couple of nights, and she was so wonderful - - I felt completely at ease leaving my children with her. The short drive into Santa Teresa was easy, Playa Hermosa was perfect for children, i much preferred it to Santa Teresa beach for my three year old. If you get a chance, you must take the beach road north the Manzanillo on an ATV and stop at the tide pools and have ceviche with Manuel at Atardecer Dorado in Manzanillo, definitely as amazing as the ATV drive to Montezuma. One thing, just be careful with kiddos on the slippery floors when getting out of the pool! Thanks so much, Christine and Luis, for a wonderful stay in Hermosa!! We can't wait to come back!

  Don't waste your time searching for a place to stay in Costa Rica, because you just found it. The villa is clean, charming and totally worth the price. The owners are friendly and they can also give you precious infos about the surrounding areas and the many activities you can do. Furthermose, the villa is only a 3 minutes walk away from the Playa Hermosa beach (one of the most beautiful beach in the world by the way). I totally recommend the breakfast offered by the villa. With fruits (the best manguos you'll have ever tasted), toasts, eggs, cereals and gallo pinto (the typical costa rican breakfast: rice and beans), you won't even need to eat for lunch... The only negative side of it all is that the villa is located a bit far from the town. If you have a car though, that's no problem. Even if you don't, you can always take a cab. Playa Hermosa (near Santa Teresa) hasn't yet been invaded by tourists as Tamarindo or Jaco, so if you're looking for an authentic experience in Costa Rica, that's as good as it gets. Enjoy!

  This villa is the most incredible place we have ever vacationed! The house is new, very clean and spacious. You can rent just a room with a private bath or the whole house. It is an incredible value for what you get. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are super comfortable and the outdoor shower is a treat every day. The hammocks outside are wonderful and so is the pool. The beach is 3 minutes by foot and it is the most beautiful, spacious, sandy and quiet beach, great for kids, since there are no rocks there, but also great for surfing. My 5 year old son and I took surfing lessons there as well. The beautiful tidepools are only 300 ft walking on the beach, with fish and crabs swimming around. After a hard day on the beach, reading a book in a hammock under a palm tree by the pool can be one of life's simpler pleasures. Every comfort is considered and every need is met by the Christine, the owner. We enjoyed a massages, arranged by Christine, as well as many of local activities, from Yoga, Pilates, zip-lines, Quads to horseback riding. Christine knew the best restaurants, some of them not in guide books and even drove to town to get me antibiotics when I came down with an ear infection. The town is very small but it has all one needs - a bank, pharmacy, few supermarkets, great Italian bakery, gelato store and good restaurants. The people are very nice and friendly. I have traveled to over 20 countries but this is a special place in a beautiful setting and Christine, our host, making it perfect. We will be back!

  this is a place to discover and stay a while. nestled in the jungle a stones throw away from the most amazing beach on costa rica, the villa fleur de lotus offers privacy and attention at the same time. you'll be happy to meet the neighbors: funny frogs, lazy dogs and munching monkeys! this is costa rica after all... be careful you may not want to go home. Drewsky

  Hello, My week at Villa Fleur De Lotus with my sister and friends was fabulous. The highlights included extremely gracious hospitality, French and Costa Rican style home cooked meals, fabulous cocktails, freshly baked brownies and coconut cake, partial outdoor showers, quiet/peaceful/natural/serene setting, friendly monkey sightings, nearby great restaurants, and the some of the prettiest beaches I’ve ever seen. I returned to New York rested, relaxed, tan, and happy. This a particularly great place for a group of friends or family.
