Our fabulous, end-unit one-level villa overlooks the lagoon and three holes of the famous Fazio Golf Course at Palmetto Dunes, Hilton Head Island's award-winning family resort. Enjoy the best of all worlds - a short five minute bike ride to the beach or relax with golf, three free tennis courts, sparkling pool, and lagoon just steps away. After a great day at the beach, come home to sit on the comfortably shaded deck watching golfers tee it up. Or stroll across the backyard to the edge of the lagoon and watch the gorgeous sunset.
Our villa is fully-equipped and furnished to make your vacation enjoyable and memorable. The newly redecorated living room has beautiful views with a sliding door to the deck, a cathedral ceiling, a 42" HDTV and home theater system, and WiFi high speed Internet access. Comfortable couches invite you to curl up, watch a movie, read a book, take a nap, or just enjoy the incredible scenery. The dining room has a wide bay window with its own gorgeous view of the golf course. You'll love the pass-through opening to the ceramic tiled, eat-in kitchen complete with updated appliances and cooking utensils.
The Master Bedroom also has a beautiful view and includes a queen-size bed, dresser, night stands, full bath, walk-in closet, and a private glass door to the deck. The second bedroom includes two twin beds, dresser, night stand, closet, and full bath.
Linens and towels are provided. No Smoking and No Pets.

Why the Owner Chose Inverness Village
Inverness Village is in the award-winning Palmetto Dunes resort with 3 miles of beautiful beach, an 11-mile lagoon system, 3 golf courses and a tennis center. Paved bicycle and pedestrian paths wind throughout the resort and the island. Shelter Cove Harbor is just across the street with it's large marina, shops and restaurants.
Our New Jersey family and our Michigan relatives have been spending Christmas week together on the island for 15 years. We play golf, ride bikes, go to the beach and just enjoy being together for 7 wonderful days. We all love it so much that now two families are Palmetto Dunes property owners, and the grandparents spend 4 months a year here!
Hilton Head Island is easily accessible from I-95, and we usually make the 13 hour drive from New Jersey in one day. We often fly - the island has its own airport, and the larger Savannah airport is less than an hour's drive from Palmetto Dunes.
Savannah is a beautiful and charming southern city and is one of our favorite day trips.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
Our villa is directly on the lagoon and golf course. The views are gorgeous, and we especially love the birds - herons, egrets, ibis, osprey and the occasional pelican. Inverness Village has its own pool and 3 clay tennis courts. Our end unit is on one level, with no one above or below us. It's very spacious, and we've tried to include everything you'll need, even bikes and beach chairs. Our villa truly feels like a home away from home.
We use an on-site service company, so any maintenance issues are handled immediately.
Some of our favorite activities are riding bikes on the beach, kayaking on the lagoon and walking to the General Store using the "shortcut".
