Our fabulous, end-unit one-level villa overlooks the lagoon and three holes of the famous Fazio Golf Course at Palmetto Dunes, Hilton Head Island's award-winning family resort. Enjoy the best of all worlds - a short five minute bike ride to the beach or relax with golf, three free tennis courts, sparkling pool, and lagoon just steps away. After a great day at the beach, come home to sit on the comfortably shaded deck watching golfers tee it up. Or stroll across the backyard to the edge of the lagoon and watch the gorgeous sunset.
Our villa is fully-equipped and furnished to make your vacation enjoyable and memorable. The newly redecorated living room has beautiful views with a sliding door to the deck, a cathedral ceiling, a 42" HDTV and home theater system, and WiFi high speed Internet access. Comfortable couches invite you to curl up, watch a movie, read a book, take a nap, or just enjoy the incredible scenery. The dining room has a wide bay window with its own gorgeous view of the golf course. You'll love the pass-through opening to the ceramic tiled, eat-in kitchen complete with updated appliances and cooking utensils.
The Master Bedroom also has a beautiful view and includes a new king bed with pillow-top mattress, dresser, night stands, newly renovated Master bath with double sinks and custom tile shower, walk-in closet, and a private glass door to the deck. The second bedroom includes two twin beds, dresser, night stand, closet, and a newly renovated bath with tile tub/shower.

Why the Owner Chose Inverness Village
Inverness Village is in the award-winning Palmetto Dunes resort with 3 miles of beautiful beach, an 11-mile lagoon system, 3 golf courses and a tennis center. Paved bicycle and pedestrian paths wind throughout the resort and the island. Shelter Cove Harbor is just across the street with it's large marina, shops and restaurants.
Our New Jersey family and our Michigan relatives have been spending Christmas week together on the island for 15 years. We play golf, ride bikes, go to the beach and just enjoy being together for 7 wonderful days. We all love it so much that now two families are Palmetto Dunes property owners, and the grandparents spend 4 months a year here!
Hilton Head Island is easily accessible from I-95, and we usually make the 13 hour drive from New Jersey in one day. We often fly - the island has its own airport, and the larger Savannah airport is less than an hour's drive from Palmetto Dunes.
Savannah is a beautiful and charming southern city and is one of our favorite day trips.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
Our villa is directly on the lagoon and golf course. The views are gorgeous, and we especially love the birds - herons, egrets, ibis, osprey and the occasional pelican. Inverness Village has its own pool and 3 clay tennis courts. Our end unit is on one level, with no one above or below us. It's very spacious, and we've tried to include everything you'll need, even bikes and beach chairs. Our villa truly feels like a home away from home.
We use an on-site service company, so any maintenance issues are handled immediately.
Some of our favorite activities are riding bikes on the beach, kayaking on the lagoon and walking to the General Store using the "shortcut".

(From Charlotte, NC) Our family enjoyed Hilton Head very much. Your villa is beautiful and very clean!! My kids enjoyed the game cabinet and tennis rackets. It was so nice of you to send the packet of information on restaurants and things to do before our arrival. I am a planner and since this was our first time in Hilton Head the info allowed me to do some research prior to arriving. My husband and I were able to go out to eat at Alexander's one night while the kids stayed in and had pizza. What a nice place with great food, I am glad you recommended it! We have stayed in many places along the east coast - North Myrtle Beach, Surfside, Lichfield, Pawleys Island and your villa is the nicest by far. We loved being on the golf course and the lagoon, it is very peaceful and yet so close to shopping, the beach and any place you want to go to on the island! We hope to return again soon!!

(From Sugar Hill, GA) Your villa was like our home away from home - comfortable, well-maintained, spacious, quiet, relaxing, with beauty inside the unit and all around the grounds. Your villa had everything that we loved in all the others we have stayed in - the nice grill, ceiling fans, lots of room. Weather was warm, but still enjoyed our time immensely - biking (thanks for the bikes), beach (thanks for the chairs), pool & tennis. Great dinners at Carabbas and Aunt Chiladas. (From Draper, VA) We have vacationed in Palmetto Dunes for several years. This is our third villa. Three is the charm! We really enjoyed the privacy and shaded deck. Having access to the bicycles was very nice and gave us less to bring with us. The weather has been perfect - upper 70s low 80s and low humidity. Sun all week long. A great week in Hilton Head - lots of golf, beach, dining and shopping. Thanks for sharing your villa with us, we hope to be back soon.

We celebrated two birthdays this week, a very special time for us. Hudson's on the dock had great food and relaxing atmosphere. My husband and son went golfing twice - really enjoyed Fazio course. All in all we spent most of our time relaxing and spending time together - your villa gave us a chance to do that. Thank you for allowing us to be here.

(From Cape Cod, MA) Nothing beats biking on the beach and walking over to the tennis courts in the morning. We played Fazio. It was crowded but a great course. Golden Bear at Indigo Run and Hilton Head Country Club were not as busy. Crescent Pointe in Bluffton is worth the short ride. Beautiful villa, we love it! We'll be back!
