I rented this condo with a group of five. We were in town for the week for an internship program and the condo was perfect for our needs. It is well-decorated, very nicely furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen that is extremely nice. The two bathrooms were also a great benefit since we had five people and one of the bathrooms has a separate dressing room, which made it easy for several people to get ready simultaneously. The location is very convenient to downtown (where we were working) as well as to many of the neighborhoods where we wished to dine and sightsee. Additionally, most areas of town are accessible without having to use interstates, which made getting around an unfamiliar city much easier. There is an upscale grocery literally downstairs, as well as a lovely pool area and clubhouse. Finally, the couple that owns this property was highly responsive and wonderfully accommodating. They welcomed us into their place and made us feel at home. Overall, we were impressed with the property and I would highly recommend renting from them.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

About the owner: Glen is an architect, minister, and executive director of gimmeshelter, a non-profit organization for housing persons displaced by natural and human caused disasters. Valerie is a former ballerina and choreographer who currently teaches piano, voice and harp. She also performs vocally and on the piano and harp.
Why the Owner Chose Charlotte:
We chose to have a place in Charlotte because two of our three children live here with their spouses as well as three of our five grandchildren. We chose the SouthPark area because of it's quality, amenities, shopping and dining.
