  What a blast our two families had at Stars Hollow. We've rented almost a dozen mountain homes on VRBO and this was tops. Everything is new - and the layout was perfect with masters on each floor and 4 bunks in one room for the kids. Very close to everything in Glenville including marina, pontoons and Cashiers. Great views of the lake and very high up in the trees. Very private. We'll be back for sure!

  We loved our stay in this very comfortable and spacious house. We were able to bring our 4 legged kids which absolutely made it feel like home! The view is lovely and the house is very well appointed, perfect for couples or families. We plan on returning next year.

  We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing home! From the moment we walked in the door our mouth just fell open and stayed that way as we explored the home. It is just beautiful and so charming! The owner did a fantastic job with every single detail and it was immaculately clean ( and I am VERY picky)! The outdoor seating is fantastic and on every level of the home. We particularly enjoyed the swing on the lower deck. Kim is just an absolute pleasure to work with. We cannot wait to go back and hated to leave this gem of a home!

  This vacation home was incredible. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The home and the furnishings were beautiful, yet very comfortable. The decks were awesome. We drank our coffee early in the morning on the decks while watching the sun glisten across the lake. We cooked all of our meals in the awesome kitchen. The indoor dining table accommodated our family well. We also gathered on the large outdoor dining table for several of our meals. We loved the sitting area on the lower deck for conversation while sipping wine. We brought our boat and toured the lake which included beautiful waterfalls. The dock was great for casting a fishing line or for just simply relaxing in the Adirondack chairs. Our family had a wonderful vacation here. I have already recommended this property to several other family members and friends.

  What a fantastic Getaway! From the moment you walk in the front door, you are blown away. The pictures on this site do not do give this home it's proper due. From the beautiful view of the lake to the smallest details in how the house has been equipped. From the flat screen TV (with Direct TV) in every room to small flashlights in the bedroom nightstands. The outside grill made for a great steak and hot dog BBQ. The boys could wake up in the morning and fish right from the private dock. The even brought their jet skis to ride the fabulously clean lake. The owners were extremely helpful and easy to work with. I would recommend this home to everyone (unless of course you want it when we want to come back). The only disappointment is when we had to leave and come back home.

  My wife, son and I rented this amazing home with friends from Charlotte and their two kids. We're from Atlanta, and so we'd been dealing with sweltering heat all summer long. The temperature at Lake Glenville was 74 degrees and sunny, no humidity. The home has an amazing view of the lake and it's incredibly clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious. We hated to leave, and we can't wait to go back!

  From the beginning, this was the greatest vacation rental! The payment and booking of the house was done with professionalism and ease. We were able to pay via credit card and split the payments between two families. How easy! We received detailed instructions on the house including directions and were blown away when we arrived. The house is tastefully decorated and very clean. The amenities exceed your typical vacation home including flat screen tv's in every room (with dvd players and direct tv), ipod docking stations, and wireless access. We had all the creature comforts of home in an amazing place. The double decks are the most amazing feature of this home. The upper deck features many rocking chairs for morning coffee, a great table and a fabulous grill (with a gas line attached to the house so you don't have to make those last minute runs to fill the gas tank after you've already started grilling). The lower deck has a swing and the most comfortable outdoor furniture for afternoon napping and amazing views of the lake. The dock is great and provides easy access into the lake and the marina (to rent boats). Additionally, this house is fabulous for kids. Our children loved the decks and the parents loved the safety of the decks. Our kids loved, loved, loved the bunk bed room, the games and were enchanted with the toy kitchen. Our tiny vacationers were thrilled and declared it the best vacation ever! The location of this house is super. It was a short 7 minute drive to Cashiers and close to great hiking yet secluded enough at Lake Glenville to provide peace and relaxation. You can't go wrong with this house.

  If your are looking for the best of the best in Lake Glenville,then you have found it. This place felt like home from the moment we put the key in the door, in fact we would wake up and say we thought we were in our own home!!!, BUT then we would go on the back porch and watch the morning fog and cool air roll in with our coffee in hand and planning our day boating on this beautiful lake, and at the end of the day sit by the wonderful warm fire relaxing with a nice glass of wine ,everything is just perfect here, so if your looking for a place of both the feeling of your own home and the beauty of the Mountains and the lake, WELL you found it !!!! PS: Just don't take my spot next summer!! Ronnie & Janet Artman

  Wow! This home is stunning. From the stained glass entry way, to the wall of windows with a view of the lake and the mountain, to the landscaped walk down to the dock, every part of this property is lovely. The home is spacious and immaculate. The property owners are clearly attune to the needs of renters: the house is very user friendly. The kitchen was well furnished—no mismatched plates or utensils that have been bitten by a garbage disposal. It is a very comfortable home, with lots of places to gather (and some wonderful cozy throws!) The outside of the home is as lovely as the inside. The huge double decks overlook the lake. The decks are furnished with lots of seating and there is a large dining table on the upper deck. The dock is large and in pristine condition. (And if you’re on the dock drinking cup of coffee on Sunday morning, you can hear church bells ringing.) We enjoyed our stay at Stars Hollow and wish it could have been longer!

  We had a fantastic weekend at this beautiful home! We were all impressed with the beautiful setting, well equipped home, and special children's play nook! The owners really have thought of every detail to ensure you feel at home during your stay. We would highly recommend this home to any travelers to the Lake Glenville and Cashiers area, you really can't find better accommodations. Spend your weekend getaway or week long vacation here...upon leaving you too will start planning your return trip!!

  You haven't lived until you've stayed here! This home was way beyond our expectations - the pictures are wonderful but you wouldn't believe the way it really looks. The owners have this place so well equipped and well decorated you won't want to leave. It's spacious and private and accommodated three couples very well. We sat on their private dock and enjoyed our wine and the guys fished. The shopping is great and within 10-15 minutes in all different directions. We rented a boat one day and enjoyed the lake and even enjoyed a fire in the fireplace that night (wood provided by the owners). The lake is clean and the waterfalls are beautiful. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this home - we met the owners and they are SUPER!!
