My husband and I rented this unit for six weeks in Feb and March 2013 and our adult daughter joined us for one of those weeks. The unit is well-appointed, well cared for, very comfortable, and has great views and natural light. The owner makes everything easy and is exceptionally accommodating and responsive. We cook and it's a pleasure in this unit -- the kitchen is well equipped and well stocked. We love having an in-unit laundry and a half-bath on the first floor. The steam shower in the master bath is terrific. The shuttle to the mountain is right out the door and skiing down the Four O'Clock run puts you maybe 75 yards from the building. Underground parking means no scraping windows and there were always enough spaces for our guests. We NEVER experienced any noise issues. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Had a wonderful stay at this condo. The owner was very responsive and it was a flawless transaction. I have been to Breckenride a few times and I found this to be a perfect location. We were able to walk to the lifts and downtown, which is not the case for most of the other locations. The owner's attention to the little details makes the condo a great home away from home. I will definitely recommend to others and stay here again on future trips.

Amazing Condo with a Great Location!

A friend and I rented the condo for two nights in Mid December 2012 and were very satisfied with our stay. John the owner was also able to accommodate our rental within two days before our trip.. The condo has everything you could want.. A quick walk to main street a quick bus ride to the mountain and free parking with an elavator and hot tub! I would absolutely reccomend this place and hopefully will be lucky enough to stay here again.. John the owner is also very courteous and provides everything a newbie to Breckenridge would need with regards to dining, shopping, bus routes, maps ect..

Great Place!

We have stayed at a lot of places throughout Colorado using VRBO and this is by far the best! The condo was well stocked with everything you would need or want, from kitchen items to board games. Sometimes when you rent a place, it's the small things you miss. Anytime we needed something, such as ziplock bags to packing tape, it was there. They even have a Roku that can be used to access Netflix, Pandora and Amazon. It was well located to both town and the Snowflake lift that connects to Peak 8. John was more than helpful throughout the entire process and very punctual on getting back to us with any questions we had. Highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great location... Free, and very convenient, buses to the slopes and town, if one chooses not to walk Ski back to condo with only a very short walk. This condo was a perfect size for my wife, daughter and me. It has all the amenities, and was very comfortable for our week-long trip. The owner, John, is available any time for questions. E-mail documents sent prior to the trip was very informative and helpful. Flawless transaction via PayPal. We will definitely return!

Great Place to Stay in Breck

We loved everything about this place. Well decorated, well maintained, lots of amenities, great location, great owners. Breckenridge is a fabulous resort with such a lovely town and this place is ideal. My teenage son and his friend thought the unit was so cool and because of the convenience it was so easy for them to be independent. Would love to come back and would love to check it out in the summer.

Perfect location - Perfect condo - Perfect Breckenridge!

We just got back from spending a WEEK at this beautiful condo in the heart of Breckenridge, CO. John the owner was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and made this process as painless as possible. Pricing for our week was cheaper than some of the "fancy" Vail Resort's lodges with better amenities. This unit has a FULL FUNCTIONAL and CLEAN kitchen that was well stocked with items like pots, pans, coffee maker (and gourmet coffee!), etc. We never made a full meal here but we had the ability and often had a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes in the early AM. Bedrooms were perfectly sized with large closets and ATTACHED private bathrooms. What you see in the pictures is what you get folks! John and his wife did a fantastic job with the decor in this condo and it still looks every bit like the shots on the internet. There is an awesome hot tub right down the stairs in front of this unit ~1 minute away. During the week we felt like we had the whole condo facility to ourselves. By Friday the place started filling up. Underground heated parking means no shoveling the snow off your car every AM and easy elevator access to the condo unit. We rented our SKI equipment locally from Blue River Sports (best rental pricing in Breck) and stored all of our boots and skis in the attached SKI closet right outside the front door. Walking up to the SNOWFLAKE lift is possible but demanding in ski boots. We preferred the ~2minute walk to the outside of the condo area and waiting for a free shuttle which ran every ~15minutes or so. True ski in capability via the 4 O'Clock Run directly across the street which was perfect after a long day on the slopes. Make sure you check out Keystone for night skiing - it was awesome! There were two couples on this trip and we were more than comfortable with John's unit. There are no keys to use as the condo uses an electronic deadbolt which meant our two couples could come and go as they pleased without worrying about the other group and how they would get in. John's restaraunt reccomendations were dead on and we thoroughly enjoyed The Hearthstone, Empire Burger, and the pizza at Giampetros! I can only hope that we have the opportunity to rent from John again! Beautiful condo, perfect location, loved loved loved Breckenridge!

Christmas 2011 in Breckenridge

We stayed in this condo for two weeks over Christmas. The condo was ideal, clean and tidy, well equiped and beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos indicate. The location was ideal and close to the snowflake lift and the ski back along the 4 O'Clock run took us right back to across the road. Main Street is just a short walk away as well so close for shopping and some good restaurants. We loved our stay in Breckenridge and John the owner made it very easy for us to organise with good communication, organisation, suggestions and all around a pleasure to deal with. We are looking to travel back to Breckenridge next year and would love to stay in this condo again. Thanks again John for making our stay enjoyable.

The Perfect Retreat

We loved our visit to Breckenridge and especially loved our stay in this condo. It was our first time to use Home Away and we were blown away by the experience. We debated staying in a hotel but really wanted to stay together- there were four of us. We also wanted the convenience of a kitchen area to cook our own meals. This condo was perfect for us. It was cozy and comfortable. My sister spent her days relaxing by the fireplace, while the others hit the slopes. The Four O'Clock run was so convenient and close to the condo. We easily walked to downtown to enjoy the shops and restaurants. It is SO close. The owner, John, was in communication with us several times prior to the weekend. He provided recommendations and was quick to answer every question we had. We rented ski equipment from one of the places on our way to town and that worked great! I have already recommended this condo to family and friends. When we return to Breckenridge, we would love to stay here again. Thanks for a great weekend!

Clean, Comfortable Condo in Excellent Location!

My family of 5 chose this condo for our 1st vacation to Breckenridge in January and loved it! The location is perfect, only a short 2 blocks to downtown / Main Street, and a short bus ride to a variety of ski lifts. We also took advantage of skiing home on Four O' Clock run. The condo is very cozy and spacious, will very stylish decor. It accommodated 5 of us easily with the 2 bedrooms and pull out sofa. The ski closet just outside of the condo was very handy also. I would definitely return to his condo on our next trip to Breckenridge, and recommend it to anyone trying to decide on a place to stay!

Perfect Vacation Rental

Our first impression upon entering this lovely updated condo was WOW! The color scheme and decor is very tasteful and appealing. The floorplan provided for a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, large dining table, comfy sofas, and cozy fireplace. Views of the mountains out the living room windows were enjoyed throughout the day. Also, having a ½ bath downstairs along with a washer and dryer add to the overall convenience. The upstairs bedrooms (each with its own bath) were quiet and the beds comfortable and made up with quality linens. There were more than enough blankets, pillows, linens, etc. The generous supply of paper products as well as bathroom amenities such as soaps and lotions was much appreciated. Our stay in the fall allowed us daily hikes leaving right from the condo with no need to drive. Access to the main street shops and restaurants is a pleasant 5 minute walk. Our stay lasted long enough to taste some of the early skiing in Breckenridge. It’s an extremely convenient location due to the shuttle stop adjacent to the condo building or Snowflake run being a short walk away. For non-skiers, we found great snowshoeing opportunities nearby. We were fortunate to meet John and want to thank him for being such a gracious and pleasant host. We will definitely try to stay here again.

Nice condo just downhill from the lift

I'd have to say that the pictures here on Home Away don't do this condo justice, although they do give a hint as to how nice it is. John has done a great job with the remodel on this unit, and it really feels like home (with a few extras). Also, the steam shower in the master batch was nicer than I expected after a long day of skiing. Good points: -- Lots of room -- Bedrooms away from living area for privacy when the kids want to stay up and watch movies -- Lots of extras (movies, games, etc) -- Close to the lift and the ski run on the way back down -- Furnished very well -- The shuttle is just outside, so you can avoid driving when the weather turns bad Opportunities: -- The courtyard bricks are COLD after using the hot tub (bring slippers) -- The stairs can be tough to climb after a day of skiing -- Although it's nearby, it's an uphill climb to the Snowflake lift (the shuttle is across the street) In all, we really enjoyed our stay here and will come back the next time we need room for more than 2. Thanks for sharing your condo with our family!

Condo had everything and more. Great that there were basic supplies in the kitchen, which we could use and replace if used up. John made everything easy to book, and communication and information and advice were excellent. Restaurant recommendations were all great. We drove from Denver to Breck and then didn't need to use the car all week, perfect location for getting to the mountain and for walking into Breck for dinner, shopping etc. Would definitely recommend this condo to everyone; and have already. Enjoy your trip, Breckenridge is great in summer and winter.

AWESOME RENTAL!

Our family of 3 stayed here over New Years and loved every minute of it! The condo was clean and is exactly as the pictures portray. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets for anyones liking. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans as well as cooking utensils. This condo also has Location, Location, Location going for it!!! The Free Ride bus stop is conveniently right across the street. Snowflake Lift is a very short walk and was the BEST lift we found to access the mountain during the busy holiday season. While the other lifts had a 15+ minute wait, Snowflake was always less than a 5 minute wait. Getting back to the condo off the slopes from the Four O'Clock run merely requires crossing the street. In addition, the booking process was easy and completed in a professional manner. The only thing that we can warn is that the condo does have steps and would not be a good choice for those who can not climb steps. For all others, we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this rental and will definitely rent this unit the next time we visit Breckenridge.

Can't sing the praises adequately of this unit. The photos are CURRENT! The place was immaculate, updated and location was walking distance to town. The owner had taken the initiative to have little notes/brochures everywhere as to where to find stuff, what to do...there was ample stock in paper products (!) as well as the extra touches in bathroom amenities such as little soaps and lotions. Most in our group had never experienced a HomeAway rental and as this was their first venture, the top notch experience here has made them eager to rent again. We are VERY satisfied customers!

We stayed in this condo in May 09 and everything was great. As noted by the owner the building was built in the 80's BUT you wouldn't know it staying in this condo. This awesome 2 floor, 2BR, 2.5 Bath was immaculate. From the kitchen to the bedrooms the place was clean and extremely well kept. The decor and amenities in the apartment were plush, the kitchen was well equipped and it had a washer/dryer in the condo. The condo was within walking distance to the snowflake lift and to main street which is very convenient if you do not rent a car but if you do rent a car there was ample underground parking. This place is also within 45 minutes of A-Basin, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek and Copper Mountain. The town of Breckenridge is my favorite and I have been here several times. This condo was by far the nicest in which I have stayed. It was very comfortable and was priced fairly making it a great value too. I did not get to check out the pool and the hot tub was adequate. If you value being close to the mountain and center of town, and like staying in a condo that feels more like a W Hotel then you will really appreciate this condo. Thank you for a great stay.

EXCELLENT APARTMENT

Four of us recently stayed here and we all agreed that it not only met with our already high anticipation of the place because of the photos and previous reviews, but it far exceeded our expectations. The standard of the accommodation and convenience were spot on, and we even managed to ski the four o'clock run to just outside the complex, not bad in the middle of April! The apartment is spacious, being on two floors and the standard of decor and amenities were excellent. This is the second time we have visited Breck and certainly not the last. Sadly the holiday was over all to soon, but it is great to know we have found somewhere we definitely want to stay the next time we visit.

We were very happy with this condo and would not hesitate to recommend it. I am very particular about cleanliness and this place was clean. We loved the living area with the fireplace and flat screen TV. As others have noted the bath towels and sheets are very nice. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and a pleasure to cook in. The condo is in a great location if you want to walk to the ski lift or walk to town. The owner is very helpful and accommodating.

Great property. Easy to get to everywhere, no need to drive. Ski to within 100 yards of the property. Large and roomy for 2-bedrooms. The fact there is a second floor and the bedrooms are away from the living areas was a plus. Nice furnishings with everything you need. Parking underground, so no worries about the car. The owner was very helpful and responsive to all our needs and questions. I will certainly rent this again.

i stayed here with four friends in early january of this year. the place was excellent: it's about a five-minute walk to the snowflake lift, and another five-minute walk to the restaurants and bars on main street. the condo is spacious and has all the creature comforts necessary for a great ski vacation. i'd recommend this place for anybody.

Everything was as advertised on this rental. The owner was extremely helpful both concerning the condo but also in providing information about the area. The accomodations were great and very convenient. We could not have asked for a better location or a better living arrangement for our visit to Breck. Great owner to work with and very prompt in responding to all request and deposit refund. Super experience. I'll definitely use the HomeAway site for future travel accomodations.

This Unit: This condo was the perfect place for my husband, my teenage son and I to spend 5 summer days in the beautiful mountains of Breckenridge. Everything about the description in this listing was completely accurate, and the photos definitely reflect just how beautiful the decor is. It was that and more. We found the condo very clean upon arrival, with everything we needed including towels and paper goods, washer and dryer in the unit, and all the kitchen essentials we could need for preparing our own meals. We travel with laptops, and having the wifi in the condo was most excellent. We used the grill on the deck, too, which was nice. We liked that we were a short walk from the village of Breckenridge so that we could venture out for dinner or just shopping on foot or on bikes. John provided excellent customer service -- first rate communication by e-mail, phone and mail. Our family plans to go back to Breckenridge, and God willing, the condo will be available. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. In Breckenridge: We rented bicycles just down the hill at Lone Star Sports, and the people there were friendly and helpful. There is a bike rack in the condo garage, so if you bring your own bikes, you'll have a place to secure them. We very much enjoyed dining at the Empire Burger, MiZuppa, and the Motherloaded Tavern. We bought our groceries at the City Market, about 2 minutes from the condo (within biking distance). As the Breckenridge ski lifts were closed for the summer, we went to Copper Mountain and rode up for a lunch and hike on the mountain. It would be an excellent place for mountain biking down, if that's your sport. I highly recommend this condo and really appreciate John's excellent customer service. We had a ball and intend to stay there again in the future. Thanks so much, John!

Summer Getaway

We had a great time stay at this condo! It was very conveniently located just a few blocks from Main St. Everything was in walking distance which was fantastic. We stayed over the July 4th weekend and the fireworks, parade and festivities were so much fun for us and the kids. Breckenridge really is a beautiful place during the summertime. We went hiking on a 7 mile trail just South of Breck and rafting in the town of Frisco (just a short drive away). The owner was super helpful, everything was nice and clean. We really enjoyed the grill! The view from the large window in the living room was really nice, I love seeing mountains! All in all, it was a great vacation, and this condo was just the perfect place to be. We will definately stay here again!

Fabulous condo with a great location

After 5 previous visits to Breckenridge I finally found the perfect place to stay. The condo is exceptionally well appointed, every convenience is there and it is spotlessly clean. The highlights for my family and I were:- 1. Covered car park with foot access from street level 2. Elevator to 2nd floor: with the effects of altitude on visitors from sea-level this was a real bonus! 3. Spotless bathrooms 4. Extremely comfortable beds 5. Ski to within 100yds of the entrance 6. Free shuttle bus stop 50yds from entrance 7. Snowflake lift 5-7 minutes walk 8. Wireless broadband: I still had to do some work and my sons were still connected to the outside world.... 9. Very easy, painless booking process from the other side of the world 10. 5 minutes walk to Main Street shops & restaurants It really was home-from-home. As I spend much of my professional life travelling and in hotels, I guess I would categorise this as a Hyatt rather than a Holiday Inn!! Nice work, John: you have a fabulous place here. Greatest week in Breckenridge

This was our best week ever in Summit County. From the snow to the Condo that was the best that we have ever stayed in during our 7 years of travels to Summit County fro Spring Break. The Condo was very modern from our Flat Screen TV to hi-speed interent, to the ease of underground parking to ski storage. This was a great week and we will try to book the same condo again next year.

Great Condo

I stayed in the Sundowner condo with my boyfriend and two other couples. We are all either seniors at the University of Iowa or graduated and working, so this was an ideal place for us to stay: great price for what was available, super location, very modern. The pictures reflect with perfect accuracy what the condo is actually like. What is not included is that it has two floors, so it may not be the best for older people or those with physical disabilities. The condo had great views and was about a block away from the nearest ski lift--very convenient. It is within walking distance of downtown Breckenridge, so that was perfect as well. We loved that the owner was so accomodating as far as providing quality linens, towels, soaps, dishwashing soap, and detergent for the washer. We took advantage of the grill on the balcony, as well as the awesome fireplace. The keyless entry was really handy, especially when we had people coming and going as they pleased. The hot tub is a shared among everyone else at the complex, many of whom were drunk and left the cover off so it was freezing all of the next day, but that was the only downside to the entire stay. Oh, and I might suggest bringing a mattress pad for the pull out couch--ouch! Especially after a day of skiing with an out of shape body. You can really tell that the owners have worked hard to renovate this place and are up do date on all of the latest interior design styles. Great job with the place! We especially liked to pendant lights, granite countertops, red swivel barstools, down comforters, steam shower, and suede couches. We had a great time. Thank you for your service!

It's unfortunate that some people are so rude and disrespectful, but from our experience, they are the exception rather than the rule. For the sofa sleeper, we actually keep an extra mattress pad in the closet to provide some additional padding. I'll be sure to put a note to that effect in our information booklet.

I've been to Colorado before but never before to Breckenridge. We found this great property online and immediatly knew we had to have it. All of the pictures you see are really what this place looks like. There are linens, towels, dishes, soaps, garbage bags, silverware, you name it, they had it! The hot tub is a staircase away. Main St. is walking distance as well as the Snow Flake lift. I hate to say it but we spent quite a bit of time in this condo because it was so nice and a perfect fit for the 6 of us. Everything has been re-done and it looks like it was just built yesterday. I definetly recommend this property to anyone!

We (two couples) stayed here in January and were completely delighted with the condo. The furnishings were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied with plenty of cooking supplies. The location was perfect and the underground parking garage was convenient and always had space.

Stayed in this condo 12/29/07 for a week. The pictures really do reflect the unit. The building is a bit on the older side, but the unit has been very nicely rehabbed. It has a very functional galley kitchen with nice appliances, a comfortable living area with fireplace and 2 very nice bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. A nice LCD TV, over the fireplace, has a DVD player and surround sound. It is a lot of space for a 2 bedroom condo, making it easy to put kids to bed and still enjoy the night or for older kids to have some privacy. One of the best features is its location. Easy to walk down the hill to the center of town, or up the hill to the Snowflake lift to avoid the crowds at the superchairs. The bus stops across the street to Beaver Run. To return home, ski down the Four O'Clock run and cross the street. The owner is very nice to work with and very accommodating.

We had a group of six people that stayed at the condo for two nights in between Christmas and New Year. The place was in great shape, was very conveniently located and had a great parking situation with an underground garage and no shortage of surface parking. The unit was well stocked with everything that you would need and the rooms were all well furnished. I especially like the steam room function in one of the bathrooms! I would recommend this place for sure as it is comparable in price to a lot of other units that don't have nearly as nice of furnishings.
