  I made my choice to stay here solely based on previous reviews that stated that this condo is exactly as pictured on the rental sites. I don't like surprises. These statements were true, with a couple of exceptions. The pictures, although accurately depicting the décor, do not convey the spaciousness of this condo, nor do they convey the warm embrace that you experience the moment you step inside. From the "zen like" touches in the bathroom and natural stone and wood fireplace, to the sleek, efficient and well appointed kitchen, this home was designed to bring comfort and relaxation to a new level. The bedroom is large, with a wonderfully supportive bed and cozy, comfortable linens. French doors in both the bedroom and living room open to the balcony, bringing an open-air feeling to the entire space. The balcony itself is sizeable, furnished for entertaining a group of friends, or, as I experienced, quietly enjoying a glass of wine while watching the world go by. For those who need to "stay connected", the condo is supplied with two large screen TVs, and WiFi that works perfectly and effortlessly. Additionally, a DVD and CD player are provided, with a cabinet full of DVDs. Located across from the train station in the heart of Encinitas, you'll enjoy the short walks to the beach or to the downtown shops and restaurants. I parked my car when I arrived, and it didn't move until the day I left. So, whether traveling alone, or with a small family, you'll be delighted with your choice in this peaceful, beautiful and wonderfully accommodating property.

  Excellent view, well-maintained condo with beautiful wood floor and two balconies. A couple blocks from a wonderful library, shops and restaurants, and the beach. We would absolutely stay there again.

  This property is exactly as advertised - the photos truly reflect the condo- it has been recently remodeled. Everything is in perfect condition, the kitchen and bath are very well appointed, easy place to live in and enjoy the coast and downtown Encinitas life. There is a wonderful outdoor patio with very comfortable outdoor furniture - a great place to have an afternoon cocktail or entertain guests. Downtown with tons of great restaurants and shops is just 2 very short walking blocks from the condo. The. owner, Bob, is extremely pleasant and accommodating. You can't go wrong if you decide to rent this property. We loved it!

  This property was beautifully maintained and very comfortable. We loved being so close to the beach, parks, downtown, Encinitas, and the Coaster station.

  My experience with this rental was great! Everything was exactly as shown in the photos, and it was spotlessly clean. Terrific location, close to downtown Encinitas, and the Coaster train. Loved spending time on the deck, relaxing & enjoying the cool ocean breezes. Bob was easy to deal with, very quick to respond to my emails. Will definitely rent again!

  This was our first time with VRBO. We were unsure what to expect, but the experience far exceeded our expectations! The condo had all the charms of beach life. Loved it!!! It was comfy, cozy and beautifully decorated, plus it had every amenity we required…and more! There was enough room for me, my husband and six year old daughter. She was especially happy with the selection of videos! The neighbors were friendly, quiet and we were in such a great location. Just a walk down the block and we were in downtown Encinitas with its’ shops, Whole Foods grocery and awesome restaurants. We loved the vibe of the town and hope to return soon! Believe me, you will not be disappointed!

  Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Everything was positive about my stay in the condo. I immediately felt at home and the location was perfect. The owner was very helpful when needed and couldn't have been more accomodating to our traveling needs. We especially liked the beach cruisers for getting around town. My wife and I are looking to return as soon as possible.

  First visit to Cali couldn’t have been better! Bob’s condo in Encinitas’ was the sweet spot! My friend and I met in California to celebrate our birthdays. Let me say that upon arriving, we found the condo to be gorgeous, clean and well-equipped. Location is perfect and close to everything! Everything you could want in a vacation rental and more. Bob checked on us with a phone call to see that we arrived. He then stopped by a few days later to say hello and see if there was anything we needed. He offered great suggestions for activities and dining and is a genuinely nice, nice guy. I live in Hawaii and was blown away at the Aloha spirit I felt in this sweet lil’ beach town! My friend and I were able to enjoy Moonlight Beach every day. I grew up near railroad tracks; however, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard that familiar sound of a train barreling down the tracks! The train lulled me to sleep every night. We enjoyed riding the old school beach cruiser bicycles into town and up to Bull Taco…thanks for that recommendation. Mahalo Bob for great memories of my first visit to your beautiful state of California! You have a lovely condo, nice neighbors and a friendly town to boast of!

  This is where you want ot stay if you have an interest in the Encinitas area. The condo was great, incredibly clean and well equiped. Bob stopped by to introduce himself and gave great tips for resturants, etc. The only drawback was the train noise but then again that is most of Encinitas.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

  My husband and I stayed in this lovely condominium for a month while visiting our granddaughter in Encinitas. The condo was completely updated, wonderfully furnished , fully equipped, tastefully decorated and very clean. The location was perfect…a short walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops (including the new Whole Foods store), Moonlight Beach, and the train station. The view of the ocean each morning and the sunsets each evening from the deck were beautiful! Bob was very helpful and readily available to answer any questions. We would love to stay there again.
