We stayed here for a wedding weekend and really appreciated the location. So nice to be close to bakeries, breweries, and the river walk! We didn't have too much time to hang out at the house, but it was decorated nicely with lots of antiques and the furniture (including the beds) was comfy and cozy. Had all the basics and even though there was no shower the bathtub was really nice and had a spray hookup. Beautiful wood floors and details throughout and a nice backyard and front porch.

My family of four plus small dog stayed a week in this lovely home. The home is funky with collectibles throughout. The layout gave our family more than enough room to relax and entertain family and friends. Sitting on the front pourch late at night was amazing. This neighborhood is so close to downtown and the hip strip with so many fun restaurants and shops. New mattresses might be a good investment in the future, but the toppers helped to make them a bit more comfy. The only negative was that the weather was 100 degrees the entire week we were there and we ended up sleeping downstairs one night due to the house not cooling off. A window unit might be a nice thing to have availalble for these super hot nights!

I recommend this property without reservation. The location is perfect. We loved this house. You can walk or bike anywhere. There was plenty of room in the house and we really enjoyed the backyard and the front porch as well. The owner was very helpful and friendly as were all the people we met in this beautiful town.

My family and I stayed at this wonderful home with tons of space and character for my brother's wedding this last summer. I cannot say enough good things about renting this home. We had a pre-rehearsal dinner gathering at the house and had a great time - great for entertaining indoors or out in the gorgeous fenced back yard. The best part about it is that it is close to everything - great restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and little neighborhood bars as well as awesome river trails and parks. Truly, we felt lucky to have scored this place for the summer week. Enjoy your stay here and running through the sprinklers on a hot summer day after being spending time at the Farmer's Market across the river and playing at Dragons Hollow Park. Sitting on the beautiful front porch isn'y bad either!

Owner response: Future guests, I am adding wifi to the house so that those of you traveling and working can have reliable internet access. This house is in a wonderful location for guests who want easy access to UM, river trails, downtown, shops and resteraunts.

We're just back from a month-long stay in the house and it was fantastic. The owner was very thoughtful and met us at the house to show me around while the kids played. The house had everything I needed for myself and 2 young kids. There's plenty of space and it's comfortable and well-appointed. The back yard was great for the kids and was set up nicely for casual get-togethers with friends. Likewise, the front yard was great for hanging out. The neighbors were all very friendly as well and it made for a very homey experience. The location of the house can't be beat. If I had brought my stroller, I probably could have made it a month with driving only a few times. Restaurants, bakeries, brewery are all right around the corner; downtown & Caras Park are an easy walk over the bridge; and the grocery store and other parks are all within easy walking distance. As noted in the other review, the lack of a shower was something to get used to, but not a problem. Because I had to work while on the trip I brought a mobile broadband device, but it would have been great to have wifi at the house. We definitely plan on returning!

This house has tons of character and charm - with lots of places to explore and room (both inside and out) to relax and play. The location was excellent - we enjoyed being able to park when we arrived and didn't have to get in the car again until we left! Food, shopping, entertainment, university and beer all within walking distance! The house was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for the long weekend we were there. We especially loved that there was plenty of room both inside and out for all the friends and family (young and less young) we were spending time with. The home owner was very kind and made a point of greeting us at the home and being available for any questions or concerns we had during out stay. Not having a shower in the house required some flexibility on our part but the tub is a comfortable size. The only other downside was the lack of internet service at the house. If we hadn't had work and school business to attend to on our holiday that would have been no problem! Overall we were very excited about our stay in Missoula! We loved this home and we can't wait to go back again!
