Ken's Kenai Kabin offers one of the most premier waterfront properties on the Kenai River. Located just past the confluence of the KENAI & FUNNY RIVER, and only 10 miles from town, we offer some of the best fishing on the Kenai River. Guide boats are often seen fishing in front of our property.....know where the fish run!!!
Our cabin is literally just steps from the WORLD FAMOUS KENAI RIVER and you can hear the river rushing from inside our cabin. Enjoy your stay in our newly built cabin. We are located on a flat lot and there are NO STAIRS to the water's edge. (We do NOT sit up on a bluff, like a lot of houses do on the Kenai River)

Our cabin is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, and books up early. Although July 15 - Aug 25 is our peak season for fishing, you may prefer to avoid the rush and visit during one of our reduced rate times. You will still enjoy very good fishing and vacation opportunities....there is plenty to see in Alaska.
While visiting Ken's Kenai Kabin, there is plenty of other Alaskan experiences to take in. A short drive to Homer, Alaska to explore the Homer Spit, a half of full day Halibut charter, dig clams at Clam Gulch, which is on the way...or book a bear viewing flight, which going out of the Soldotna Airport-just 7 miles away from our cabin.
Here are the following fish runs information for the different fish species:
Halibut .................May 1 - September 30
Saltwater Kings..........May 1 – June 30
Kenai Kings..............May 1 – July 31
Sockeye (Red)Salmon......June 10 – August 20
Silver Salmon............August 15 – October 31
Pink Salmon..............August 15 – October 31
Rainbow Trout............June 15 – October 31 (usually catch & release)
Along with fishing on the KENAI RIVER, you can also see abundant wildlife: moose and bear have been seen on our property and are in the surrounding areas.
You can also enjoy floating this magnificent river by renting a raft close by. There are several river guides providing full day float charters for this outstanding fishing and viewing.
Be sure to bring a good camera for both the wildlife and the spectacular landscape views that are seen all througout Alaska.

Our cabin is available Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend 2011 Rates: May 27 - June 30: $300/night July 1-7: $400/night July 8 - August 31: $500/night September: $300/night Ask about weekly rates-Pets may be allowed w/ an additional deposit & nightly fee. Please add AK sales tax & lodging tax. $500 refundable damage deposit A 4 nt minimum is usually required. Please inquire if less is desired.
