  this house was perfect for our family we walked to the beach often very nice area house was well kept and we really enjoyed our stay i would definitely recomment to others and rent this house again

  This was a great little house by the beach. The neighbourhood was very friendly and quiet. There was lots to do and the house was perfect for our needs. The price was also great for being so close to the water and it is also close to a great many restaurants and shops. The owners were great about leaving all info that we may have needed. Would definitly stay again!!

  Had a great time on our stay, perfect house and location for our family. In town for my cousins wedding, we had my wife and 2 boys and grandparents. We had plenty of room if we ever go back we would for sure go back. Had such a good time. Thank you for everything.

  My neighbors and I went to Virginia Beach for a 5k walk on Sunday. This house was just what we needed. There are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a pull out sofa. The house was clean and the pictures on VRBO are accurate. The owner provided extensive information about the area attractions, restaurants, and shopping. It is a few blocks from the beach but we drove and parked at a meter with no problems. It is just a few blocks from Rudee's Inlet restaurant, a local favorite. We all enjoyed watching the wildlife in the pond across the street and relaxing on the back patio. They ask that you keep your shoes off to help keep the carpets clean, which wasn't a big deal for us. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

  We were in the area for a dance competition taking place at the Sheraton oceanfront. This home was perfect for our family of six. We had plenty of room to spread out yet we were only 6-7 minutes from the competition...super convenient! The home was well equipped, with everything we could have needed. Beds were comfortable and the home was very quiet. My kids loved watching the jets fly over and the ducks in the pond across the street were a fun bonus. Internet wifi was a bit spotty, but mostly functional. We ate at Big Sams, highly recommend the blackened fish tacos, yum! We also went to the aquarium which was an easy 5 minute drive. All in all a wonderful place to stay, we would absolutely stay again. :)

  Stayed for a week with 2 kids for a wedding/reunion. Home was clean, spacious and comfortable. Has everything you need. The foosball was a hit with the kids. Of course, the pedestrian/bike friendly neighborhood was also enjoyed, along with the short walk to the beach. Quiet, tucked-away street but also convenient to major retailers 1 exit away (Oceana Blvd / First Colonial Rd): Target, Kmart, Trader Joes. We recommend Pocahontas Pancakes and Forbes Candies salt water taffy. We'd come back again - thanks!

  Our group of 11 had a wonderful time. The place was clean and we had plenty of room. Close to everything but on a nice quiet street away from the hustle bustle. The owner was very informative giving us a variety of places and things to do. If we are back in the area we would definitely come back to this house. Thanks the Wagner Family, Lancaster,PA

  This is one of the nicest places I have stayed in a while! Sometimes internet listings are deceiving, but this advertisement is under stated and the pictures don't do justice for the actual place! The house was beautiful and very relaxing because of location. It was also close enough for a walk to the beach! Owner was very helpful in having all information in black and white so there was no wondering or guessing about ANYTHING!! Also recommendations of places to eat and shop were very good! Property was very clean and well maintained! I would definetely recommend this to any of my friends or relatives. Thanks so much for good people who open up there home so others can vacation and feel the comfort of home!

  We booked this property for overflow for a long weekend family reunion in May 2011. It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable and just perfect for our purposes. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and would be perfect for families. We had plenty of space for 6 of us to sleep and relax. I would recommend this place for those seeking to get away from the noisy, raucous atmosphere of the boardwalk area.

  We rented this house mid-july 2011 and we absolutely loved it!! It was very nice, clean, roomy, and comfortable. Being on vacation with two young boys under the age of three can be very hectic- having a nice relaxing home to come to at the end of every day certainly was well needed. The outdoor shower was very handy after a day at the beach! The back yard was perfect because it was completly fenced in and private. The location was perfect because it was far enough away from the chaos of the boardwalk, but close enough to make it very easy to access the beach. I would reccommend this house to anyone looking for a nice "homey" place to stay when on vacation.
