We had a great stay at this condo. Everything, ranging from the location to the cleanliness of the unit, was just perfect. The owners could not have been easier to work with.They were quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. If headed to Jay Peak-stay here-you will love it.

Perfect Rental - Wonderful Cozy Relaxing

This two bedroom condo was awesome. It is a second floor unit with a great view. From the minute I walked through the door, it exceeded my expectation. Better than the photos. The unit was immaculately clean and very roomy. The condo had everything needed for a great weekend. I know I was going to the mountains in Vermont, but I was concerned about being cold in the condo. I was pleasantly surprised at how warm and cozy it was. The gas fireplace was great. The kitchen was perfect; not overloaded with stuff, but well-equipped. I loved the open floor plan so even when I was preparing meals we could all be together. Unit has a balcony. (We filled the bird feeder and had beautiful birds stop by for a snack).The bedrooms were very comfortable. Two full bathrooms. We visited in April and it snowed most of the weekend. If you ski, the condo unit is ski-in/ski-out. We spent Saturday at the Pump House and had a great time. The unit is very close to the Jay Peak Hotel, Ice Haus, and Pump House, but not so close that you are in the middle of all of the resort activity. I felt completely relaxed after the weekend, and went back to work on Monday feeling like I had a long vacation. I would definitely visit Jay Peak again anytime of the year, and I would stay in this condo unit. Great skiing, beautiful views, nice hiking. I would recommend this unit to anyone. I had some contact with one of the owners (had to call for directions to the unit since we arrived in the evening and it was snowing) and she was extremely nice. (Note - I planned this trip to visit my son (and his girlfriend) who attend UVM. Instead of staying in the city, I decided to stay at this condo for some needed family time and to let them regroup before finals. What a great decision! I highly recommend this unit for parents visiting UVM students).

Just excellent. Ski in ski out just steps from your front door. Me and my 2 girls had lots of room with this 2 bed 2 bath condo. I recommend this condo to everyone & there family. We are ready to make a return soon.

Great Ski-on/ski-off

We had a great time skiing at Jay and staying right off the trail at this condo. It's so nice to be able to stop off for lunch or a quick break. The sleeping situation provides plenty of room for small families or even groups. We managed to schedule our stay when it was snowing everywhere else on the east coast except Jay, but at least we had warm temps and bluebird skies. Thanks a lot.

This place was perfect for our family (6 kids from 2 yrs old to 15 yrs). The condo was full equipped and the location was just fantastic (I loved to take off my skis just in front of the condo. Real ski in/ski out). The owner was very helpful in the process of the renting. Thank you again.

What an excellent time we had at the Townsend home. Couldn't ask for a more effortless rental. We've been coming to jay for 29 years and this was one of the best locations for on slope accommodations. Love the Grammy jay trail right to the front door. Thank you

Great Stay at jay.

We've stayed at Jay many time before. This was the first time renting from someone through vrbo.com and it was great, much easier than renting through the mountain. The owner was always available to answer questions. When we arrived the condo was ready and very clean. The condo had everything one would need for a long stay up at Jay...even a waffle maker and crock pot. The living room TV was a little dated, but we spent the majority of our time skiing, so it wasn't too big a deal. Loved doing a few puzzles that were there, though challenging. Great ski in/ski out ability and it was particularly easy to get into...not many outside stairs. We had such a great time with this wonderful condo and the owner's ease to communicate with her, we hope to go back up soon and hopefully stay here! Thanks for such a great ski vacation.

Beautiful condo right on the slopes. Everything was as advertised. The condo was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The mountain is one of the best in the east with the most annual snowfall in Eastern NA with some great tree skiing. Susie was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process very easy, answering any questions we had in a timely manner. We had a great stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a ski in/ski out condo at Jay.

We love Jay's Peak with the many trails and beautiful views this is a wonderful place for a family vacation. The water park is a great activity at night after a day of skiing. Our kids love the whole place. This house made it even more fun. We could ski in and ski out. It had everything we needed to have great dinners at home. We had fun playing board games at night and spending time together laughing and enjoying time as a family. We also spent one day in Canada. It was easy to cross the border ski and come back. It was perfect!

We stayed 5 nights at this beautiful 2 bedrooms condo. The condo is VERY well equipped in the kitchen. We were 6 people and we had plenty of space to move around. The location on the ski trails is fantastic. The owner always answered our questions. The kids really enjoyed the board games. If you love skiing, this is the place you want to be. We will come back for sure. The condo was also very clean. We were very happy to use your crock pot, it was very usefull while we were out skiing. Tran family January 2013

Great Time at Jay Peak!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! The condo was perfect for our family and was clean and spacious with all the amenities we needed. We especially appreciated the extra twin in the second bedroom which allowed ample sleeping space for the kids. The location couldn't have been better as it is so close to the Grammy Jay trail. The owner was a pleasure to work with and we would recommend this to anyone coming to Jay Peak!

My husband and I took our two boys, age 10 and 6, to this condo at Jay Peak for a few days prior to Christmas. The condominium is beautifully decorated, and we were able to walk right out the door and be on the chairlift! The owner of the unit was extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions we had prior to arrival. We absolutely love Jay Peak! The skiing is outstanding, and the kids couldn't get enough of the indoor waterpark once they were done on the slopes for the day! We would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking to enjoy a fun-filled, comfortable ski vacation!

Great pace for a famiy vacation

My famiy and I had a fantastic time at Jay Peak, and the condo was perfect. We've got 3 kids (1, 2 1/2 and 6), and the condo has a perfect setup with the beds in the 2nd bedroom. Some friends rented the condo next door (faciitated by Susie), which made the trip even better. We went to the top of the mountain on the Tram, spent some time on a beach over in Newport, and of course spent a solid 8 hours at the water park. The only thing I would rate as a 'con' would be the fact that even though they indicate there is a pool and a hot tub, you've gotta pay extra to use them. I think it was around $6/day per person. We're already talking about going back next year, hopefully bringing even more friends if we can get a couple of more condos in the same row. Thanks for the great time Susie, we'll be in touch next year.

Wonderful Getaway!

The condo was extremely clean and comfortable. It was well equipped with all kitchen supplies, extra sheets and pillows and plenty of towels. The decor was homey and we felt so comfortable there. We enjoyed time out of the deck taking in the views and slept wonderfully in the beds. Susie was wonderful to work with and helped us get the internet going our first night there. She responded to all emails quickly and was so accommodating. We would love to return!

Great condo for small families !

This condo is located in a great spot on the Grammy Jay run which connects to the main lifts. The condo was clean and perfect for my family of 3 boys. There was good amenities in the condo and being on the upper floor it was quiet. My only complaint is the check in process at the resort, there seems to be confusion when you rent from an owner rather then the Jay Peak Resort group. I also think the check in time is to late , it should be 4 pm. If you ski all day, you then must wait around until 6pm to get your condo with young kids this was very annoying. Overall a good place to stay.

We had a great stay at this condo. My son was on spring break and last minute we decided to get in 2 days of skiing. Owner was great to deal with on short notice and very accommodating. Loved the location right off the ski trail and found everything we needed in the unit.We have a rented from many VRBO condos in the past but this one is on the top pf my list.

Had a great time at Jay the slopes were groomed perfectly and there was hardly anyone there, good for us maybe not for Jay. Stayed in a ski-in ski-out mayber 30 feet from the trail which goes down to the lift that takes you over to the main lifts. Great being able to ski home for lunch and everyone could quit skiing whenever they wanted. Would stay there again for sure.

We had a great stay at this condo. Loved the location right off the ski trail and found everything we needed in the unit. Big plus was the ability to sleep two families with no one on the floor! Owners were great to work with and very accommodating. We have a vacation rental ourselves and have a discriminating eye for good and bad rentals. If this condo is on your list of possibilities... don't hesitate -- it's a great one!

Great condo in a great location

This condo is just as described in vrbo add. Photos accurately prepared us for the trip. Property is imaculately vlean and well stocked with god equipment. Owner worked hard to ensure everything worked for our booking. Lift tickets, rapid response etc. we would definity refr this condo to a friend or relative. If you already know Jay Peak, you will understand that it is a fantastic ski destination. It has great terrain for beginners intermediates and advanced skiers alike. Groomers are well looked after and glades are unbeatable in the east. The great thing is that there are glades for all abilities. The resort is transforming itself rapidly, and the facilities that we had where great, restaurant in main hotel, bar and coffee shop we all great, relaxed and friendly. We used the ie rink and enjoyed that as a fa,ily. Everything seemed vy reasonably priced. The owner managed to get us lift tickets that saved us over 25% from what we would have paid at the ticket office. There was no hassle. The condo was beautifully presented, lean, tidy and had all the amenities that we old ever have wanted.. Coffee machine, Waffle machine, slow cooker, great pans and knives etc. Room layout was convenient and spacious. We had 6 people but there was easily space for 8. Location wise, the condo was perfect. We left the condo, and took les than 15 steps before putting on our skis and heading down to chair lift. To return home, we skied to the same place and stepped directly into the condo. Groceries we easy to find, and conveniently located in next village. All in all' a great stay nd a condo I would highly recommend again.

A fabulous summer holiday and a great looking ski resort.

We stayed at the condo in July 2010 and had a fabulous time. The accomodation was spacious, well furnished and clean and far exceeded our expectations. There were 8 of us, 3 adults and 5 children and there was plenty of room. We went on some great hikes, ice skating, and cycling. The sceanery is stunning and we had great fun free jumping in the nearby rivers - the children loved it! We ate at the local golf course restaurant which was very good. It was easy to get provisions locally - we even got milk fresh from the cow from the local farm. We would definately recommend Jay and this condo and would certainly consider for skiing as the area looks very exciting. The Pitt family from England.

We stayed in this condo few times over the last several seasons. The location is just perfect (ski-in/ski-out), you will in the main lodge within couple of minutes. It is well maintained and clean with nice features like gas fireplace (my favorite) and iPod dock. I was pleasantly surprised by fully stocked kitchen everything you’ll need to cook breakfast or dinner (I do :). ). Communication with owner was easy and pleasant. I would stay here again and again, every time I come to Jay Peak. Highly recommend it.

Thia is a five star condo

Our family have stayed in this condo twice, once in May and again in August. We drove the 5 1/2 hours up from near NY city in the evening, stopping for a meal on the way. The location of the condo is superb within the resort, looking out over the trees and onto the grassy slopes which are the ski runs in winter. You can walk across the slopes to the centre, where there is a pool, and a restaurant. Just outside the door is an area where the children played. We walked to the top of the mountain in the sunshine, through amazing wild flowers, and took the gondola back down. One day we hiked on part of the Long Trail which runs the length of Vermont. There are summer camps for the kids, who couldn't wait to get there in the morning to swim and to do fantastic art. The supermarket was easy to get to, but collecting the milk from the organic farm, and buying local maple syrup for the breakfast pancakes was a highlight. This is a delightful well maintained property. It is stylish and new. The owner did everything possible to make it easy for us, and suggested picnic locations on the rivers, and places to visit on days out exploring the area. Vermont is a lovely state to visit, and Jay Peak a great place to stay, especially in this family's delightful condo!.
