  I planned the trip to the cabin as a surprise for my husband. He only knew we were going away for 2 nights without our kids :) We were both amazed at how intimate and rustic the cabin was. No detail was missed, from the fireplace to the fresh flowers on the table. The king sized bed was so comfortable and presented in such a romantic way. We enjoyed fishing and relaxing in the hot tub. The cabin is just the right distance from local farm markets as well. We will definitely be returning, perhaps for our 20th wedding anniversay in September. Thanks so much !

  From the moment we spotted the cabin as we pulled up to the driveway it took our breath away. It was exactly what we were looking for. The decor was so simple and pretty. I felt like I was in a scene from Janette Oke's Love Comes Softly but with modern touches. We didn't want to leave. Can't wait to come back. Thank you Merv and Lisa.

  Lisa & Merv, thanks for once again providing a marvelous cabin for us to stay at, enjoy the beauty all around us and unwind. The chocolates and the sparkling red/grape juice is always a great touch and sets the mood right away. Being able to park in the field and the nice ramp made getting in and out of the cabin a breeze in the wheelchair. We were even able to get some fishing in on Friday evening and caught 2 Bass and over 20 large Bluegill in about an hour’s time. Had a Blast !! Thanks, Ron & Laura

  This cabin was more than what we expected. Modern conveniences were wonderful, but still did not take away from the 1800's charm. This will be one of many trips we will make to Narvon and our children cannot wait to see this wonderful get away too. It is places like this that building strong family memories. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

  We stayed a week to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Everything was perfect, you can tell that the Martins take great pride in their property by the way they keep it and the extra little nice touches to make a stay special. The hot tub is an absolute bonus after being out during the day, and having quality time on the porch at night is great as well. Just sitting listening to crickets and croakers with the occasional sighting of a groundhog or rabbit is serene. It is close to everything, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. The pictures are accurate, but really don't do the cabin justice in showing the intimacy and rustic feel it possesses, along with the spotless cleanliness. Thanks again to the Martins for letting us stay for the week. We will definitely be back if in that area in the future!

  My wife and I stayed for two nights and although we arrived in a down pour, we immediately began to feel the weight of the world lift. Sitting on the porch with the rain falling was so peaceful and the way the cabin has been restored is amazing. Modern conveniences yet retaining all the rustic charm of the original cabin. The hot tub was just what we needed after the chilly rain and an afternoon of walking in Lancaster. We will most assuredly be back again.

  The cabin was perfect in everyway. We had a great time celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. We are definitely planning on visiting again in the future. This place is a great place to relax and unwind. The owners put much time and effort into making the cabin very extra special. We can't say anything but Wow!

  We wanted a 1 night getaway to celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary.....THIS WAS PERFECT! We were away from it all. Loved our greeting with a little surprise in our cabin. We sat by the fire & look at wedding pictures (something we would never do at home with all the craziness of life). Nice & secluded; sat on the pourch drinking cofee and never saw a person. Was so nice to watch the birds flying over pound while enjoying the fresh air! The hot tub was wonderful, neat in the bathroom (advice make sure you turn temp up prior to using it, takes alittle time to warm up). I LOVED the bed, alittle soft for my hubby. Got such a peaceful night sleep! OVERALL WONDERFUL! We would love to return for another visit! Maybe Anniversary tradition! Thank You

  What a beautiful spot to reconnect as a couple! We had an awesome time at the little cabin in the woods. Your decorating was excellent! We had a fun time relaxing on the front porch watching the ducks on the pond. FIreplace was nice and cozy. We would have liked the cooktop (it broke earlier in the week, from your note), but having the microwave was fine. Thanks so much. We will be back and will be recommending to all our friends.,
