  My husband and I stayed here to as our “homebase” for our wedding that was held down at The Golf Club of California (literally 1 minute drive away). All our bridal party was able to change and fix hair and makeup here and then drive over to The Golf Club. Casa de Patricia is so peaceful, it was the perfect choice. My bridesmaids and I even had a chance to sit by the pool and soak in the sun for a bit. The house is fully furnished and includes anything you would need to live/cook. The beds are comfortable (I think I slept better here than at home) and the entire house was clean and uncluttered. It looked just like the pictures. Our host, Tim is fantastic to work with. He made us feel welcome and at home. Tim answered all e-mails and calls promptly and in detail. All transactions were completed smoothly and professionally. In the craziness of planning a wedding, I never had to worry about the details for our stay at Casa de Patricia. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone.

  I stayed here for a month because there was noisy renovation going on in my LA building and I needed a quiet place to write. Fallbrook was heavenly. So quiet, peaceful, and views that make your jaw drop. The two bedroom casita is super clean, spacious, with every amentity. Full kitchen if you cook, which I did since I was there for a month. Since I was there in the summer, the pool was open and it's the nicest pool I've ever been in, saltwater infinity pebbletech with a spa..and those VIEWS! The town of Fallbrook, about 10-15 minutes away, is quaint and has some good eateries-- Garden Center Cafe was my go to lunch spot, great Mahi sandwich! Let's talk about the hosts-- Tim and Patti are the nicest people you'll ever meet. They leave a bottle of wine and a meal on your arrival day, they know everything about the area and are happy to direct you. Otherwise you won't see them, unless you want to. Fallbrook is GORGEOUS, and it's pretty easy to shoot down the 15 to get anywhere, also over to the beach. I have friends all over northern SD and it was easy to get to them. Oh yeah, for my birthday, Tim let me invite my friends over and dine alfresco-- he ever made awesome turkey burgers for the whole group!! How cool is that? HIGHLY recommend over any hotel!!! And I am moving down here from LA, I liked northern SD that much!!! I was alone most of the time, and felt totally safe. This place is great for any adult, but especially for women traveling alone, so much nicer, quieter, and more relaxing than a hotel!

  We just got back from our San Diego vacation that included a stay at Casa de Patricia. We were 4 adults and a 3 month old. The Rosas are very nice owners who gave us an enchilada dinner and bottle of wine our first night there. The well-appointed house is maybe 50 feet from their home, so you share a driveway, poo,l and hot-tub. We weren't there very often, so we did not take advantage of the pool/tub. The only drawback, for some, might be the closeness of the owners. If you want complete privacy while poolside, this might not fit. However, the location is great with just a 5 minute drive to Interstate 15 which takes you to San Diego, wine country, and many other tourist attractions. If you're going to out and about all day, this is the perfect home for you !

  Thank you for making my Mom's birthday weekend so nice. Your home was the perfect place for the my mom and her cousin to catch up after 20 years of raising kids, being wives, and not seeing each other. They loved how beautiful your home was, the wonderful hospitality, your visit to check on us, and the fantastic pool! They kept commenting on quiet and peaceful the area was.

  We honeymooned here not too long ago. Anyone who’s ever planned a wedding knows that a great amount of stress comes with the package. So, we wanted to travel somewhere that was affordable, yet still away from the cares of the world, and of course relaxing. Our vacation at Casa De Patricia was just that- very peaceful, calm and serene, with a pleasant scenery of the hillside. Honestly we often forgot that we were CA. The house itself is equipped with everything you’ll need. In case you do need anything else, the Rosas (the most warm and hospitable hosts that we’ve ever met), will be more than willing to help. Upon our arrival, Tim Rosa helped us to move all of our belongings in. He knew that we had to travel a very long distance to get there, and so he went out of his way to purchase a meal just to make sure that we had something to eat and could rest after a long trip. Even though we spent most of our time in the swimming pool and jacuzzi, there’s much to do around the area. There are great restaurants and wineries, and the ocean is only a few miles away. We were so content with our stay that we’ve decided to make this our home away from home. If you are looking for a place to rest or re-charge, then look no further; Casa De Patricia is just the place for you. We promise that you will not be disappointed. -Patrick & Mystere

  Owner response: Acutally, we felt honored that Patrick and Mystere would spend most of their first week as a married couple at Casa de Patricia. Our goal was simply to make our home be their home so that they would feel comfortable and could simply enjoy each other. Our 2.67 acre hilltop location allows for great privacy despite being in a golf course subdivision. Patrick and Mystere are a great young couple with their heads on straight and are perfect role models for any high school and college kids. The were very polite and respectful of our family privacy. They left Casa de Patricia as clean or cleaner than they received it. We hope to see them again around Christmas, as they had said they want to spend part of their first holiday season together at Casa de Patricia!

  The cottage was just as described in the listing. My wife kept saying she wanted to live there. Location is great - a few miles to I-15 and you can get anywhere you need to go. As the other reviews have said - Tim and Patty are fantastic hosts. Very helpful with information on where to go/what is avaialbe to do. There if you need them but otherwise you wouldn't even know they were around. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our anniversay! Absolutely an wonderful place to stay. Thank you Tim and Patty for making us feel so welcome.

  My brother lives in Fallbrook so when my mother, sister and I wanted to visit we decided to stay in this cottage rather than one of the motels in town. We're glad we did! This was our home away from home. We cooked several meals in the perfectly furnished kitchen. We slept like babies in the comfortable beds covered with terrific linens. Our host, Tim was an enthusiastic, friendly guide to the area and our cottage. It was a wonderful place to stay. My only suggestion, which I mentioned to Tim upon departure, is that he add grab bars and a non-slip mat to the tub/shower to better enable cimbing in and out. My elderly mother was unable to use the shower during our stay because of the high tub walls.

  We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa de Patricia, a very clean and comfortable casita with a hilltop location and stunning views of the surroundings. The house was well appointed with luxury linens and our bed was extremely comfortable. We slept well. Our hosts, Tim and Patty, were very accommodating, providing us with food basics, wine, lemons and avocados, plus all the information we required to explore the area. We would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful spot to vacation. Thank you Tim and Patty.

  Wow, what a romantic, Tuscan feeling bungalow. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Close to everything we like to do (go to a Chargers game, the beaches, dining, shopping, wineries, golfing, sailing, hiking biking, gaming and the ponies at Del Mar.) but it feels a world away! That's a pretty fun week, and none of the craziness of the hotel scene.

  Owner response: Casa de Patricia truly is centrally located in North San Diego County and is a great jumping off point for all the places the Chalkers mentioned and more. Not only 5 Indian Casinos within 1/2 hour, Temecula Wine Country 20 minutes away and our own Fallrook Winery only 8 minutes (private tours available from our friends, Ira & Pepper, the winery owners), but even Sea World, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Legoland, Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm are all an easy drive away.

  My husband and I stayed at Casa de Patricia for five nights in early January. With easy access to I-15 and terrific views of the Fallbrook hills, this newly built casita was immaculate, comfortable and welcoming after a long drive and after long days of house hunting. Tim and Patty, the owners, could not have been more hospitable. They are fun, smart, energetic, gracious. What else can I say?? We hope to move to Fallbrook for a full time dose of the welcome that we experienced during our visit to Casa de Patricia. Highly recommended.

Above rates are for ONE or TWO guests only. Email for quote when 3 or 4 guests. 4 guests IS the maximum allowed. Any extra guest, during a monthly stay, is $25 per person, per night. 7 night maximum stay for "extra guests". Must get approval for extra guests at least 5 days in advance.

No guests under 18, even if not staying overnight. No smoking allowed anywhere on our property. No pets.

Cash, cashier's check or personal checks only

Cleaning fee is $50 for any stay under 7 days, 7 or more days, no cleaning fee required.
