New ski in out 5,000 sq. ft. home nestled in the little hill called Columbine right next to the base area ski lifts. Sleeps 10-12 in 4 bedrooms and a den pullout. Scandinavian feel, impeccable design.
In the summer, Wednesday concerts can be heard from the house. Enjoy music from the sprawling decks or you can just walk on down the hill to the base! The aspens around the house make for incredible summer/fall hikes. Biking trails can be accessed just steps from the house.
In the winter ski in and out! Ski out to the bottom of Red Lady lift, ski in from the owners' trail at the top of Painter Boy, across Colmbine hill. (not for rank beginner skiiers).
Panoramic mountain views, floor to ceiling windows, fully equipped kitchen. Massive granite countertops, wet bar, large dining room table (seats 14).
King bed in the huge master suite, a queen bed in the 2 other bedrooms. There is a den area with one convertible couch and a TV room with a large sectional.
The 4th bedroom, down one level, has 2 sets of bunkbeds. There are double beds on the bottom of the bunks, and singles for the top (the kids will have to flip for it!) . This huge room has its own mini kitchen with full fridge and toaster oven and an air hockey table. Heaven! This is really a huge space - with separate den, bathroom, kitchen/lounge area.
Blair Garth, the owner, is a well-known artist - enjoy her paintings on the walls!

We have spent two ski vacations at this house and it couldn't be better. The house is so comfortable. I especially like the heating system which allows you to walk around barefooted! The views from the windows to the slope are awesome. Lots of room...we had 11 this year. The ski out is easy but the ski in a little tough however I managed to do it even though I am a novice skier!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We had 11 people - all skiers and we were not crowded at all. Four teenagers in the bunk room - looked more like a dorm after a few days - and they loved it. Great house. Easy to ski out to the lifts but the ski back home was tricky when the snow got crusty. Otherwise and fabulous house with an incredible view and perfect location.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

About the owner: My husband and I both grew up on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, but we have a love for the mountains as well. We discovered Crested Butte back in the 1980s and decided to build our dream mountain get-away in 2008. We have two daughters who share our passion for the beach and the mountains
