My family spent the most wonderful week in Penticton at this gorgeous home with breath-taking views! I cooked in the kitchen of my dreams, sipped wine on the beautiful decks, and enjoyed the hot tub each evening under the stars. This home has everything.....nothing is less than first class and the owners feel like friends. We have already booked for 2013!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our stay at the property was wonderful. The property is fully equipped with everything you need to make you really feel at home. It is about 8 minutes from town which we loved as you could enjoy the peacfulness of the country, but were very close to any amenaties that you may need. For 2 or 3 couples I do not think you could find a better home in the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The house is fabulous, everything you could need and more. The location is fantastic, on a vineyard, amazing view, next to wineries, very close to Kettle Valley Trail and nestled in the quaint Naramata Bench. We will be back for sure.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Simply put, the owners of this house have not missed a detail. Exceptionally clean house with a great kitchen for those who love to cook. The view is 10x better than the pictures would make you believe. I cannot say enough about this house. If you are thinking about it, rent it, you will not be sorry for a second. It is such a wonderful spot to relax and unwind in the peaceful setting of a vineyard. I will be back for sureRecommended for: Adventure seekers.

Any house that has to compete with that fabulous view of the Naramata Bench and Lake Okanagan has got its work cut out for it. This house was able not only to compete, but to shine, shine, shine. Every room is beautifully put together with everything one can need to feel at home away from home. The kitchen, in particular, was beautifully equipped and situated for wine-tasters who like to cook as did our Gang of Six. From the time of booking, Mary and Gary responded promptly and answered any questions we had. They also provided a lot of information about the workings of the house and the surrounding area, something which, as habitual vacation property renters, we recognize as key. As for the surrounding area, well, anyone who knows the Naramata Bench and Penticton, knows that the wineries are outstanding, as are the opportunities for recreation and dining. If you don't know that, you should get to this house and find out. As one reviewer has already commented, shall we be selfish and keep this place to ourselves, or shall we tell our friends - hmmmm, let me see now!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We (2 families, 8 people) stayed for a week while our 3 boys went to hockey school. Great views, quiet, everything and more than we needed to live. Kids were in the 'pool' aka hot tub twice a day. Walked to 3 mile beach, biked to town daily(easy downhill ride on the KVR trail, didn't ride back!) Picked cherries off the tree - yum!!! Walked to wineries next door. Relaxed, hung out, drank wine every night. The kids loved the ping pong table and sauna. Everything was fabulous, spot less, well decorated, Mary and Gary were superhosts! Left us some treats, too! We will definitely be back and tell others - or maybe we shouldn't so that they don't book the times we want !!! :)Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

When we first saw this vacation rental property online we were in awe at the wonderful pics that were displayed and of course, our first thought was that it couldn't possibly be as beautiful a property/house as it appeared. We wanted to spend a bit of time, go on a few wine tours and discover some of the Okanagan valley area as we had never spent much time there. We had a fabulous week in this wonderfully decorated, spacious house on this vineyard overlooking Lake Okanagan. Miles and miles of beautiful, lush land to gaze at from the hot tub just outside the bedroom, as we sipped a lovely local merlot. From the moment we stepped inside this home we loved it! The warm colours enveloped us (especially loved all the art hanging on the walls) and it felt very spacious, yet so comfortable. After having a look through the book with notes on the property and surrounding area, we were excited to get settled in and explore! We learned more about grapes and winemaking that we that I ever imagined! At the end of a day of biking and wine tasting......it felt like coming home as we stepped back into thiswelcoming home. We had wonderful weather for almost the whole time we were there so really enjoyed the gardens and the side deck. It was heaven to wander through the acres of grapevines and to watch the gardens flourish with every day of sunshine that we received...every day was a surprise! It truly felt like we were in Tuscany! Would we come back here again? you bet we will!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We have always loved and admired the Okanagan, but Penticton/Naramata seemed to draw us in......
We knew that someday would eventually find our property...a small vineyard in a rural environment....but in the centre of the Penticton/Naramata winery scene! THIS IS IT!!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love how we can walk/bike to over 10 wineries, from our property...some with restaurants!! There are approximately 30 wineries within a 10-15 minute drive....!! Cycling and hiking on the KVR Trail, is one of our favourite activities, aside from learning to work our 3 acre vineyard, and maintaining the gardens. A quick ride to Three Mile Beach or Wharf Park Beach....for a dip in the lake after a hot summer day 'on the bench'!! LOVE IT!!!
