  It was better than we expected. Very cute, clean and kid friendly home. It was in a very clean, safe neihborhood and the home was kept up beautifully and to top it off it was just a short block from the beach and downtown.Stocked with EVERYTHING we needed and the people were so great and easy to work with. We appreciated our stay so much and will definatly return.

  Less than two blocks from the beach! The home is far enough away from the prom to avoid the crowds, but close enough to walk to with children for some daytime shopping. The home is fully furnished and includes games for rainy inside days as well as outdoor activities. We would absolutely stay here again.

  Great house for a great price. Especially loved the bedrooms. If there was a coffee grinder I couldn't find it, but went to Safeway and used theirs. Thanks for a wonderful rental. Loved the location.

  This was our second year to stay at this property. We returned because it is like staying with loving family (for a nominal fee! : ) . Aside from being all that's described, the owners have gone to every effort to furnish this rental with everything needed for a comfortable vacation, including ambience. I have highly recommended this great find to friends and relatives. The only sad thing for us is that it is on the market to be sold - we have our fingers crossed that that never happens. We thought about hiding the for- sale sign. We thought about pooling our money to buy it - but then we would be without all the special, thoughtful details that only great hosts can provide.   We couldn't have asked for anything more! Our family loved the house - it was very clean, extremely well organized and stocked. Our boys loved the yard, the proximity to the beach and easy access to amenities. We can't wait for next summer to try it again!

  This is a sweet little house and very clean which is always at the top of our list when we travel. It is the perfect size for our family and quite cozy in general. Close to town, & yes, 300 steps to the beach! The owners were quick to answer any questions we had before arriving and nice. The pictures don't show how charming this house is and everything is really close as described. We went downtown to eat at BBops, which is a cute little burger joint as well as to the carousel inside the little mall. Phillips Candy Store is an absolute must and treat, as well as the arcade. Another great outing we had was dinner at The Big Foot Restaurant, South of the Hi-way. Big servings and sumptuous steak offerings that will please any appetite no matter how big or small. We enjoyed our five day stay and felt the price was at a very good rate.

  My husband and I recently stayed in this beach house with our two children (ages 6 and 3). The house was very clean and comfortable and well stocked with everything you could possibly need while away from home. It is well within walking distance to the beach and down town. It's a very convenient, comfortable, beautiful, affordable rental! We loved our time there and would definitely return.

  Mike and Jen, thanks so much for my Seaside retreat home!!! It couldn't have been more perfect, the cottage is gorgeous, clean, beautiful decor, perfect setting for my personal retreat! It looks exactly the same, if not better, as the photos on the website. Everything is very accessible, within walking distance, I really appreciated your prompt responses to my questions, as well as your suggestions on places to check out, which I did, happily! If you'll have me back next year, I'll be there with bells on. I could actually pull that off in Seaside!! My recommendation to any and all, please don't take my time on the calendar when you book yours, that would be a major bummer!!! Thanks so much, have the best summer!! Bonnie

  we stayed at this rental over the Easter Weekend, 4 days 3 nights. the rental is very clean, and very comfortable for our family--3 people in total. and close to beach, 300 steps; and 140 steps to 12 ave bridge. we have great time in seaside, digging clams is fun; fishing in seaside cove, got 8 surf perchs; and had beach fire at the night. thanks Mike and Jennifer, we love seaside and your place.
