  I had to take a moment and express my sincere gratitude for finding this VRBO. Once you enter this charming retreat, you immediately feel relaxed. The owners were extremely organized, helpful, and a pleasure to rent from. They truly care about their home, and your enjoyment of it and your time spent on your vacation. I look forward to doing it again!

  My wife, daughter and I had a really enjoyable stay at the Carpenteria Cottages. The owners have done a fantastic job renovating the cottage we stayed in - over detail was well thought through and nothing overlooked. The decor was completely up to date, yet relaxed and 'beachy' enough that we felt completely at home. The location of the cottage was perfect - a couple of blocks to the beach, to Downtown, to the kiddie park and the station. We loved our time there and were sorry to leave. We'll be back!

  Our trip to Carpinteria was such a lovely experience for 2 reasons... 1) The Town... a great vacation town! You can get everywhere by bike or on foot. Lots of nice places to eat and a great beach. 2) The House... We really enjoyed this house. Besides its great location, the owners have done a great job making it neat, cozy, easy to use, fully equipped and charming. Everything that we needed was in the home and it was really pleasantly decorated. The owners were also very kind about making sure that we had lots of great information about the surrounding area.

  We loved every minute of our time in the beach house! My husband grew up in Carpinteria so he had a great time showing the kids his favorite places he went to when he was growing up. The house was so perfect and just the right size for our family. We all had so much fun going to the beach especially the kids and we loved that it was only two blocks away. We could even hear the ocean from the bedroom on Sunday night. We are already talking about coming back next year and staying longer. Thanks for such a lovely home and warm welcome.

  Our stay was beyond expectation. The cottage was perfect in every way - tranquil, wonderfully decorated, and very clean with a well appointed kitchen. Owners made us feel so welcome and offered wonderful suggestions of things to do and places to see. We enjoyed our meals al fresco in the beautifully landscaped garden. Perfect distance to the beach. We're making plans to visit again next year!

  We loved every minute of our stay here. The listing was everything it said and more. Location two blocks from the beach and another two blocks from great birding at The Carpenteria Salt Marsh. The house and it's furnishings were excellent. The owners were responsible and accommodating. Carpenteria is a great town and the surrounding area beautiful and full of so much to do. We are returning next year.

  We adored this property. We booked it for the Christmas break and it was absolutely perfect, clean, cosy and homely. The beach and local restaurants are all an easy walk away. The owners did everything they could to make our stay special. I couldn't recommend it highly enough and hope to go back before too long!

  Pictures don't do it justice. When you walk in you get a feeling of peacefulness...uncluttered and calm. Stayed in the Cottage 1 week-never had to drive my car-rode my bike the whole week-everything is close by. Immaculately clean-everything you need is there-silverware-dishware-cooking utensils-even a salad spinner!! First class linens-beautiful furniture. Had fun watching the caterpillars turn into butterflies- pretended it was mine for a week-can't wait to go back!

  I just spent a wonderful weekend at the cottage and could not have been more satisfied. Although I live only a short distance away, I felt like I was in a very special place. The cottage was beautifully appointed, really clean and quiet. I loved walking a couple of short blocks down to a gorgeous beach at sunset. There was also a nice selection of small restaurants in town that were quite good. I would definitely recommend renting this cottage as it met or exceeded all of my expectations.

  We just returned from our get away at the Corner Cottage. We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday and enjoyed our time as a family before our two college aged children start up their busy college and social schedules. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed to feel right at home. All the little quaint and charming touches made it feel warm and inviting. Looking forward in returning back for more memories. Thanks Kathy and Jed for all of your attention to details - your cottage is perfect.

$250 per night, $1500 per week, $2900 per month
Memorial & Labor Day Weekend: $300 per night, 3 night minimum
There is a cleaning fee of $125 and a 12% City Bed Tax (TOT Reg # 201141002)
NOTE:  All credit card payments will be charged a 3% bank processing fee.
A $500 deposit is required to secure a reservation. Deposit converts to a security
deposit upon arrival and is refundable, less any damages, 14 days after departure.
