We rented Oro del Sol for 1 week for 5 adults and really enjoyed our vacation! We had plenty of space, loved the pool, and used the fully outfitted kitchen daily. Blue Water Properties helped us set up horseback riding, ATVs, and surf lessons for affordable prices and were available at all times for questions. We were very impressed with both the property and Blue Water in terms of customer service. We would highly recommend Oro Del Sol to any vacationers.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

I had the opportunity to stay here a few times in the past five years. It is an excellent space, and the interior design is some of the best in Costa Rica. It was actually featured in a few world renowned design magazines. Enjoy the pool, garden, outdoor shower, or just a nap in the hammock with a fantastic view of the mountains. The house is so close to all of the happenings in Tamarindo and Langosta. If you want chic luxury and privacy with easy access to everything, this is your place. You will not be disappointed. I promise.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This place was great. Just close enough to the beach to make everything easily accessible, but away from the hubub of Tamarindo's daily chaos. The evenings are splendid on the upper deck, and the pool is great to wash away the heat of the day. The house is nicely equipped with everything we needed... it felt like I was house-sitting a friend's home instead of renting a stranger's house. The view from the deck is great. Honestly, this place is almost too nice... I had to remind myself to get out and explore the local beaches. But knowing I would have a quiet, safe, clean home to come back to every evening made my vacation one of the best I have ever had. It's perfect for a week... or a month or two. I never wanted to leave.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The house is beautiful. The pool and outdoor shower are my favorite part-- we spent all day there, watching birds flit through the giant tree out front, or watching the waves roll in, or betting on which iguana won the push-up contest on the wall. Fond memories. Great way to spend time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We stayed March 2011; Blue Water Properties and staff are awesome and very helpful with anything you need. The house was great..love the european styling and comfortable furniture. Very private all around. It's away from the bustle of town but close enough to walk. Nice views from Pool deck and master bedroom. Beds are all comfortable. Fast internet connection. If I had to nitpick, I wished the front gate in driveway was electric, since it's kinda heavy and getting out to open and close was a bummer.... If you are older or have disabilities you might not like this. Overall a great house, at a good rate.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
