Gorgeous Renovated Townhome in Ocean City, Maryland

  I recently stayed here for an extended beach weekend and found the unit to be clean and well equipped with modern amenities and nice furniture. Despite being on the bayside of Coastal Highway, the walk to the beach is very easy as a cross walk is very close. Be sure to check out the restaurant next door, Crazy 8s, it was reasonably priced and good quality food. Perhaps the addition of wi-fi or some beach accessories would be nice, but of course the listing does not claim these will be provided, so we knew this ahead of time and this is not reflected in our rating of 5 stars. Overall I would stay here again and recommend it to others without hesitation. The owner was extremely responsive via email and offered competitive rates for our stay, which was slightly off-season.

  Just came back from OC, and found this townhouse to be clean and very comfortable. All the pictures are very accurate - everything is new! The bedrooms are good sized, each with it's own bathroom. The third floor is private and bright. The townhouses are elevated, with parking underneath. When you go up the stairs, you walk onto a hugh deck with all the townhomes on either side. I wish I could add a picture - it has picnic tables and large flower pots - a great place for my kids (11 & 16) to get outside while waiting for the adults to get going. I think it would be good for a family with young children because it is very safe. No road access. The kitchen is small, but very nice. The washer/dryer are right off the main hall and convenient to use. Overall nice place, I would recommend it to my friends.

  Unit was not cleaned. There was sand and dirt on every floor. Coffee pot dirty, dishes left in dishwasher, air return vents were hairy, unidentified hairs in bathrooms along with Q-tips, broken toilet seat on one toilet, filthy tubs and shower curtains, electrical outlet in living room broken. Made owner aware. He forwarded my message to cleaning person who was supposed to rectify the situation, but never did. I want to add that this unit is very nice, but not sure what is going on with the cleaning and maintenance situation. It is being neglected. Would not rent again. If there would've even been an attempt to rectify the situation, I would have more respect and may rent again. The area is quiet, and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and entertainment.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

  Owner response: This was truly a communication breakdown between the renters and cleaning service. Called the cleaning service right away after renter notified me of the situation and cleaning company said they would contact the renters and would making the situation right. Never heard back from renters and assumed that everything was good. We take a lot of pride in making sure our personal family vacation home is up to our highest standards. This is the first incident that we have heard from this cleaning service and we will make sure that this situation never happens again and if needed contract a different cleaning/maintenance company.

  Split the place with Three couples. Awesome to have our own bathrooms makes going somewhere easier to get everyone ready for. If only we could have scheduled no rain or tornado.

  I stayed at this property for a long weekend in August, 2011 with my family. The property is tastefully decorated, clean and close to all attractions. My children range from age 12 to age 24 and everyone had a fabulous time. The kitchen and eating area allows for conversation while cooking. It was truly a home away from home. We were all very comfortable, loved the closeness to the beach and boardwalk. It was perfect for a large family. We are planning our 2012 vacation at this location.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  We have been to Ocean City as a blended family on several occasions this was by far the most spacious and conveniently located place we have stayed yet. Not to mention it was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and affordable. The owner was courteous and available to assist with whatever the need. We would not hesitate to rent again on our next trip to Ocean City.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
