This wonderful palapa is just on the sandy beach of Troncones and has its own swimming pool surrounded by a lush garden and a palapa where you can relax in a hammock and feel the ocean breezes while enjoying unforgettable sunsets. Six persons can be comfortably accommodated in the house, which has a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a full bathroom that can be accessed both through the bedroom and from the garden. We have a loft above the living area with two sleeping areas with two twin beds each and a shared toiled (no shower upstairs). Plus, there is a separate cabin with two twin beds and a toilet (upstairs), and a full bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped. The Dining Room table is solid tropical wood and it sits 8 people. We have ceiling fans (no A/C), satellite TV, and hot water. Parking space is for one and a 'squeezed in' second car.

Rented the house with 6ppl and had the best beach vacation ever. The house was the typical open air palapa, so bring bug spray, but it was our own Swiss Family Robinson. Definitely returning.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

It has been one of the best experencies. It's a five + star palapa!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We are a family of four. Our children are now 14 and 11 years old and we have decided to share with you our home in paradise since we moved to the Mexican east coast.
Why the Owner Chose Troncones:
The house is located right on the sandy beach of Troncones, 35 km north of the twin resorts of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. Our family has been vacationing in this house since 1998, when our oldest daughter was 2 years old. Even if we try to spend all our holidays at the house, we have now moved to the Mexican east cost so we cannot use it as much as we did. That is the main reason we have now decided to share our little piece of paradise.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We wanted a place built with natural materials such as tropical wood (not cut-out from the forest, but from naturally fell trees), bamboo, sand, silt, and straw under a thatched palapa roof, following a pre-Columbian roofing method. We used the expertise of talented artisans to bond leafs and cords, timber and bamboo to create a unique atmosphere. You will enjoy the contact with nature, sleep with the sound of the waves, and you will awake to find the grandeur of the Pacific Ocean in the most relaxing environment.
