'Almost Heaven' is located in beautiful Wolf Laurel, just 45 minutes NW of Asheville (just before you hit Tennessee). It is situated at an elevation of over 4600 feet, with a western mountain view -- the sunsets are awesome! It is a 2-story, 3-bedroom/3-bath home that is a perfect place to get away. Whether you come for the skiing (only 5 min to the Ski the Wolf lodge), the fall foliage or to beat the summer heat, you can't find a better location.
There is something for everyone in Wolf Laurel: besides skiing, there is golf, fishing, swimming, and hiking (a nature trail in the community leads to the Appalachian Trail). Plus, the Blue Ridge Parkway is just 45 minutes away.
Our house offers all the creature comforts to make you feel at home. From the cozy wood-burning fireplace to the large screen TV room (complete with Wii game system), to a large deck on which you can kick back and enjoy the views, Almost Heaven has what it takes to make your vacation truly memorable. We put in a new central air/heat system in 2010 and just finished a major kitchen renovation.

About the owner: My wife and I live in Jacksonville, FL. When we discovered Wolf Laurel, we knew we had found our home away from home. In a few years, once we retire, we'll probably take Almost Heaven off the rental market and split our time between the NC mountains and the beaches of Florida.
