  Our party of 10 ( 6 Adults and 4 Kids ) spent 3 weeks at Kathy and Peters house in Sep 2011 after a friend advised us to look at Windsor Hills, and It was easily the best decision we made on the whole trip ! We chose here because the reviews were great, the photos looked nice (even better in person), there was a large grassed area behind the home for ball sports (all four kids are boys), but mainly because Kathy and Peter were just so lovely to deal with when we were organizing the trip. The Home itself is huge, in particular the kitchen and living areas, which a large group needs. The kids loved the games room and family pool competitions became a daily event, and with the large flat screen TV in there provided a great spot for the guys to watch sport after the kids had gone to bed. All the bedrooms have plenty of space so that your not tripping over your suitcases and 4 bathrooms mean that everyone can get ready for a big day at the parks without getting in each others way (also important with a big group). The pool was beautiful and with the house facing west, means you have the perfect shady spot to cool off in the afternoons. All of the appliances are modern and high quality and with all the televisions around the house, there were never any arguments about what to watch. The resort itself is brilliant, with a well equipped general store, a great 38 seat theater in which you pick the movies, a games room, a gym, a huge pool with a waterslide,and tennis, basketball and vollyball courts. Its only a short drive to all the Disney parks, Outlet shopping, grocery stores and great restaurants. The Security and Office staff were always very helpful and friendly as well. The resort will not disappoint, but this home will exceed your expectations. Kathy and Peter have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into the decoration and furnishing of the home so that you have the perfect balance of elegance and functionality. Beautiful decor but still giving that family home feel. The kids came to think of it as a second home in about 5 minutes and it really did become our sanctuary after the craziness of the theme parks. Kathy and Peter could not have been more helpful and working in the travel industry myself, I have no hesitation in recommending their home to anybody wanting to do an Orlando holiday.   Choosing a house to rent for your Disney vacation is not easy...there are so many options it can be mind boggling! Well we are happy to report that we just returned from a 9-night stay here and we were very satisfied with the choice we made. It is a beautiful, large, clean, and comfortable home. It was our first time in Windsor Hills and we were very pleased with the cleanliness and security of the community, and the close proximity to the Disney parks. We loved the pool and hot tub, and it was nice having TVs in all the bedrooms...great for the much needed 'downtime'. We also enjoyed the community pool and waterslide, and the kids went to the park a few times. We have no complaints - the owners were very easy to deal with and trustworthy. My kids enjoyed trying out the nearby Ponderosa and IHOP (actually both very clean and good value) and the pizza at Flippers (near Target) was delicious. Thanks Kathy & Peter...we needed that!

  This house provided everything we needed and more! There was plenty of room for all of us, and the pool and SPA were great after a long day at the park. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was of full size, so we could make foods for entire group quickly. It was great that the owners and property manager responded to our questions and request promptly. They were accommodating and allowed for a later checkout time. We plan to go back next year and will definitely stay in the same home if it's available. Overall I would highly recommend this home to anyone thinking about staying in Florida that wishes to be close to all the attractions, but doesn't want to pay the price of staying at Disney. This property provides everything you need, and feels like home. It was very close to all the parks and stores.

  This house is gorgeous! The neighborhood, decor, pool and everything was excellent. Since it was close to Disney we could come back for lunch and then head back to the park. Access to water parks and Sea World is very good, too. We like the security of the gated community and were pleased with the facilities that Windsor Hills has offer for the kids. I felt very safe staying in this community because the guards make you show your parking pass each time you enter. I have recommended this house to friends and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely be looking this house up.

  From the minute we stepped through the door we loved the house. It was actually even nicer than the pictures on the website. The villa is very spacious and has everything a family could ask for. The owners have done a nice job on the decorating and the furniture was really nice. We have been staying in the older section of Windsor Hills on prior trips and thought that those were nice...... until staying in your house. The house is beautiful and all the amenities are excellent. It is very suitable/ comfortable for adults and kids alike. I don't know if we will be able to step back down into something else after experiencing luxury. The homeowner and property manager were both very pleasant to work with. We would absolutely stay there again. My boys want us to move there. The Windsor Hills neighborhood is lovely - great play areas, and my boys rated the slide at the community pool as "awesome." The neighborhood is VERY close to Disney, and is convenient to groceries, Target, Walmart, etc. I would strongly recommend this villa to anyone wishing to have 5-star accommodation, in a quiet area/community, but within easy access of Orlando and all of the theme parks.

  My family have traveled to this area for over 25 years. Always staying at a different place - No Longer when we return we will stay at this home again! No doubt! I consider myself a Travel professional and have traveled all over the world and even worked in the travel industry for many many years, as well as manage million dollar vacation rentals on the Island of Maui. The key to being in this area is Location, Location Location , just like in Real Estate. Everything is nearby and extremely easy to get to yet the property has a very quiet enjoyable Homelike atmosphere. This home has everything you will need! Pool and spa are fantastic , game room is fully stocked and each room is uniquely themed decorated. The community is a Huge Plus - the grounds are manicured , great Tennis courts [2] , Basketball [ full court plus ] and putting greens!! The club house is fantastic my wife and son walked to it everyday! before and /or after visiting the parks. The owners are great people and want you to be happy with your stay ! Finding a home like this when you are searching online can be a bit nerve racking and unsettling but rest assure if you have found this house and confirm it - You have just hit a HOME RUN - congratulations your family will love you!   My family and I had the most wonderful vacation in Orlando. Your home was the perfect place for us and made our vacation even better. My family could only say: "Gorgeous", "Wonderful Decorations", "Super Clean" when they walked in. The rooms had plenty space and the house is very well kept and most of all very clean and everything is in place. There was nothing we needed, because it had everything you needed to make your stay like home.The children as well as the adults enjoyed the large private pool area as we relaxed out there day and night. The price was great and I would recommend this home to anyone interested in vacationing in Orlando and looking for a home away from home. I must say, I will never forget this week and anytime I come to Orlando, I would love to stay in your home again. Thank you for making our stay a week to remember.

  First of all, I apologize. I should have written this a long time ago. I set this vacation up for three families: my family, my daughter’s family and my parents. We did this back in May 2012 for my parents’ wedding anniversary. After hours’ searching and comparing many different houses, we ended up choosing to stay at this place. This place is only a 2 mile drive to the parks and only about 10 or 15 minutes back to Orlando, or in our case Winter Park, check it out if you have time. To be any closer you'd have to stay at a Disney resort. All of the amenities listed are there and look as good and in many cases even better than the pictures. The pool was clean as was the entire home. All the rooms and furniture were comfortable and made us feel, well, like we were at home. The air hockey table wasn't working but by the next morning someone had come by and fixed it. The kids really liked the pool as well as the game room. I originally chose Windsor Hills because of all of the "resort amenities". The club house and community pool were very nice, but each time I asked the kids if they wanted to go there, they said they would prefer to stay in the house. That's how great the property is. For those of you with a trip planned that has a bunch of people, this is the place. This place truly knocked my mom’s socks off, and she is hard to impress. You won’t find a better place to stay with the quality this place provides at this price, believe me, I did my research. I should also mention that the owners were great on the phone, and very timely with e-mail communication. Their property manager, Blue Sky Villas, also did an excellent job. The check-in process was very easy, because the owners sent us “step-by-step” instructions. Also, their cleaning crew did a great job keeping the house clean.

  We had the best trip ever staying at this house. It's close to Disney and central to many attractions in Orlando. The house was gorgeous, clean, the decorations and furnishings were top notch and had every convenience you'd need for our family of 8. We loved coming home from a long day at the park to relax at the house and enjoy the pool and be able to have the conveniences of a home. In fact, it was hard to get the kids to leave this house! The clubhouse is also very nice, the kids loved swimming there and the water slide. I would definitely recommend staying here again and look forward to returning. We are a family that does lots of traveling and have done Disney both on and off property and I can tell you this was the best way to go. Save yourself the trouble of searching any longer and book this house. You will not regret it!

  Rented this house for a party of ten. This house had everything we could ever ask for. First, this house was spacious and well equipped for anyone of any age. Clean from top to bottom and modern furniture very tastefully done. I loved the location, the kitchen, the game room and the bedrooms. Worth every dime we spent. We had great fun and wonderful memories. We would rent this house again when we return to Disney parks. It is very nice to be able to eat our breakfast and pack our lunch for the day. We are early risers, so we were off to the parks for opening. We came back to the house early afternoon and swam in the wonderful pool, and spa. It helped us cool down and relax. We then had a nice dinner at the house, and set off back to the parks for the evening. So much better then staying in a hotel with no amenities, even if it would be on the Disney properties. Windsor Hills is 5 minutes away from the Magic Kingdom, and we never ran into traffic. Our best comparison for calculations is that we saved about $3,600 from not staying at the park, at the hotels or cabins on site at Disney. I am including the cost of the 2 rental cars too. We've stayed on Disney properties several times, this was way better. We all loved the house. The pool table was fun, the pool was great, and the house was roomy. If we wanted a little down time, it had it all. We checked out the community pool, but never made it there to swim. We loved staying at the house: coming home and taking a 30 minute swim, was just what we needed after a long hot day. Thank the owners! Job well done!
