  This is our third visit to the island and to your condo, # 76! We love everything this location offers, the view invites you to relax and excites you out to explore. We continue to find new island adventures for our family, looking through the guide books in the condo bookshelf. This last trip we found ourselves taking mini walking excursions around the property, finding some of the coolest things on the island! Turtles, a ten minute walk along the beach, and you can swim with them! Please don't bother them, they are unbelievable. The condo invites you to hang out and cook or BBQ your favorite island meals with the full kitchen and BBQ's rite out the front door. Dinning out is a very easy option, with many choices to explore! This is truly a home base to an island vacation, a small patch of heaven! We will due our best to return R & W family

  Unit 76 was perfect for our family's first visit to Kauai. The condo was comfortable, clean and well supplied. Having an in-unit washer and dryer was a huge help. It's very obvious that the owners took time to make their unit pleasant for their guests. The pool is great for young kids and the beach is wonderful for swimming, beginner surfing and boogie boarding in the summer. We loved the convenience of being able to walk across the street to the shopping center. We hope to return soon, mahalo!

  Our second time at Kiahuna Plantation; third visit to Kauai. #76 at Kiahuna Plantation is a truly wonderful property which allowed us to have an incredible vacation. It was comfortable, extremely well maintained and clean, with a well supplied kitchen. We appreciated the "extras" the owners made available for use, such as the dining set on the upstairs lanai, coolers (for use on the beach or hikes), boogie boards, beach play toys, balls, bocce ball set and board games, a library of books (great Kauai guidebooks), iron/ironing board, etc. The washer and dryer enabled us to take only what we could put in carry-on luggage. The view (ocean and lawn) from the lanai was nothing less than amazing. We enjoyed our meals on the lanai, seeing and hearing the ocean, and enjoyed the vegetarion and birds. The owners were quick to respond to our request for availability, and a pleasure to work with re: making reservations and confirming payment. They were helpful providing information re: their unit, the Plantation and activities available. All the activities available kept all four of us, including our two 16 year old sons, busy - surf lessons, hiking Waimea Canyon, snorkeling (rent equipt from Snorkel Bob's; Salt Pond is a must!), kayaking, boogie boarding, shopping at the Farmer's Markets, checking out tide pools, family time while fixing meals on the BBQ, palying bocce ball, searching for frogs, geckos and giant African Snails during the evenings, on and on. Karen Barnes, concierge, was great with recommending activities (Snorkle/BBQ Napali Coast on Capt. Andy's Catamaran (Capt. Gerard) ; Kayak Adventures Wailua River kayak trip (Guide Chris); surf lessons with Kauai Surf (located on site). If you go check out the Farmer's Markets and visit Fish Express in Lihue for fresh fish. We highly recommend this property and plan on returning many more times. Mahalo to the owners!

  My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at the Kiahuna twelve years ago. We have returned eleven times since. We now have two children and have moved around quite a bit, trying to find a perfect two bedroom unit at the Kiahuna. We finally found it! Unit 76 was the best condo we have stayed. We loved our one minute walk to the beach. The remodeled kitchen, which we used frequently, was perfect for our family of four. We used the grills, located directly in front of the condo, many times. We will absolutely return next year. This condo was an absolute gem for our family! Clean and updated. Great proximity to stores and restaurants. Quick walk to a pristine beach. We say absolutely awesome!

  We had an outstanding week at #76. The condo has the most beautiful view from both the downstairs and the upstairs. Eating breakfast or enjoying cocktails on the patio were highlights of the day. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped if you want to dine in; we did almost every night. Electronics were in great order with TVs and high speed internet (very important to our crowd.) The location is perfect for Poipu. Shopping center across the street and also a quarter mile away, Old Koloa town very nearby, great restaurants very close by, and a beautiful grounds on which to walk, enjoy the gorgeous orchid garden or cactus garden. All in all, it was PERFECT. And the staff at Kiahuna were very helpful and nice. We would go back in a heartbeat.

  This is the 3rd place we have stayed in Poipu and we LOVED it! The Kiahuna Plantation is a gorgeous resort. Lots of grass, perfectly manicured & maintained, lots of space between condos, the BEST beach on the island (seriously, it is the best- great sand, gentle waves, great snorkeling- go way out and you will see turtles!) and across the street is a shopping plaza with fun places to eat and Starbucks! There is a beach hut at the beach where they give you towels and chairs. This particular condo is great. Very close to the ocean (you can see it from the top deck) so it is easy to come back and forth from the beach for any reason. It is a 2 story end unit so it has extra windows & light. At the end of the unit is a patch of palm trees that make the most relaxing sound when the breeze is going. The downstairs lanai really made the unit...you could walk out to the beach from there or just lay around reading a book- it was really a nice lanai. BBQs are provided and is right outside the door as well as a foot wash so you can get sand of everything before you come in. Really convenient location for these things. The condo itself it really open, light and airy. New large screen TV upstairs and in the master bedroom. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to eat in most nights. It did not have basic spices which we have had before so bring your own salt & pepper! 2 boogie boards, 2 ice coolers and some sand toys were there so you did not have to bring or buy them- really helpful. One thing I have not liked about the Kiahuna Plantation is that the windows do not have glass, just plantation shutters. Last time we stayed there, we were close to the parking lot and we got woken up by people as they talked on the way to their cars. Due to the location of this unit, we did not have that problem at all. Barbara is super wonderful to work with. I kept changing my dates and it didn't faze her one bit! She responded to my emails immediately and was wonderful to work with. For tours, we HIGHLY recommend Kauai Sea Riders snorkel tour (Tara is the best!) we have done it everytime we go & LOVE it, Esprit De Corps had great horseback riding- they let us trot & canter which thrilled my daughter and were very friendly and through Fathom Five SCUBA we did an into SCUBA which was incredible! We will only stay at the Kiahuna Plantation any time we go to Poipu- really it is the best! ENJOY!!!

  Owner response: Thanks for the input about the spices. We added a spice rack loaded with the usual ones and some others, too. And we followed your suggestion and did a snorkel trip to Kauai Seariders. Captain Tara was wonderful and the trip fantastic.

  We so enjoyed staying in your beautiful condo for this very special vacation. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and slide just about every day. But the best part is simply the ocean, the views, and the relaxation that you get here like in no other place. We will miss this place and hope to come back again in a few years.

  We had a wonderful time in Kauai and absolutely loved your condo! It was very cozy and bright and was just perfect for our little family. It was in a great location and the fact that it was a corner unit made it even more sunny. We hope to be back!
