I would highly recommend this property. The listing description was very accurate and the photos depicted the apartment exactly as it was. The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful with directions. I loved walking around St-Maur-de-Fosses. It is a very quaint city. I felt very safe at all times. There was a market very close to the property that we walked to almost everyday. I would recommend this property to my friends and relatives. If you have no car and chose to walk, it is about 15 minutes to the metro (ReR). Thank you for making our experience in France exceptional!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband & I had a very pleasant experience at the St Maur apt. It was reasonably priced considering the cost of 3 star hotels. We appreciated the separate bedroom from living room (so an exhausted spouse could take a nap while the other watched TV). Great to have (brand new) washer/dryer/dishwasher/coffee machine & refrigerator! It was so quiet & in such a gorgeous (& safe) neighborhood. It was lovely to walk the tree lined quay between gorgeous mansions and luxuriant riverside. It was no problem taking the R.E.R (local train) to connect easily with the metro. We plan on returning without any hesitation. We may never get a hotel room again!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: I am the CEO of a small software company creating powerful still cost-effective websites, developing iPhone and iPad applications and other connected applications. I am a former sales engineer from the industry, travelling all the time and in many different countries. I have decided to settle down at the beginning of 2009 and totally change my way of life. I can now spend more time with my wife and our three children and work from my home office. I have the pleasure to receive our guests in the nice apartment that we have just totally renovated. The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
This place is mostly residential, very close to Paris but far enough to be quiet and green. You are surrounded by trees and the city itself (80 000 people) is made out of 7 villages and surrounded by the river La Marne. Our property is only 50 meters from the river bank ('Bords de Marne') where it is so nice to jog, have a walk or simply sit and relax. In the meantime you are very close to action : Paris, Euro Disney, public transportation, ...
