Our extended family stayed in this lovely home this past July. Six adults and two toddlers found amply room in the large living room to talk, read and play. We enjoyed many meals around the table, as well as visits to area restaurants (especially Shaw's and the Cupboard!) We started each day with coffee on the front porch, and often watched as a boat was put in or brought out of the harbor across the street. Back Cove is an easy walk, as is Rielly's Store, and the lighthouse and a sandy beach are just a short drive away. The house has many lovely antiques, and was very clean and neat. We have been coming to this area for years, and really enjoyed having another week together in this wonderful spot.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

this house provided a fabulous retreat for my family and for extended family to come visit us. It was impeccably clean upon our arrival, the beds were very comfortable, the deck was a wonderful hangout, and everything we needed was there. The beach is a 3 minute drive away and we walked to the ice cream store several times. If we go back to coastal Maine in the future, we would definitely try to rent this house again. Thank you very much for making our stay so delightful!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We recently stayed at this house. Even though it turned out to be a cool and rainy week in June, the size of the house and wonderful nearby coastal villages with places to shop and eat made up for the weather. It is VERY conveniently located to desirable locations such as Pemaquid Point, Boothbay Harobor, and other coastal destinations. It is right by the harbor and right across from the harbor is a great place to eat lobster. We will be staying here again when we visit the area.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.

Rented this house for one week last summer, just booked again for another week this summer. House was great, very quaint, cute and clean; just as nice as the pictures show. We loved the front porch that overlooks the harbor and had our coffee out there everyday. The house is just down the hill from the town's grocery store and ice cream shop. All the comforts of a home; looking forward to another great week there this summer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
