This is our second year in a row staying at this Condo, and we'll definately be coming back again next year. Great amenities, and a large open plan easily accommodated our party of (8) including (4) kids, ages 8-12. In addition to private access to a bar/ lounge area, hot tub, heated pool, and gaming/ tv area, the convenient slope-side location of this condo makes staying at this unit a must!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I cant say enough about good things about this condo and its owners!! This place was amazing!!! We have stayed at some pretty nice places in Keystone, Park City, etc.. but this was the the best. Jennifer was excellent to work with. The ski-in/ski-out abitlity is second to none. The condo was well appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen to cook some great meals. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone except during the first week of next January because WE ARE COMMING BACK!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We had the best time. The condo is beautiful and well cared for. It is also very spacious so we never felt crowded. There were many fun things to do at the resort. My kids loved the pool, put put golf and the private clubhouse. They also enjoyed the Alpine slide. As a bonus there are free guided nature walks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The staff at the lodge were extremely nice and helpful. The only problem we had was that there is very poor lighting and the condo felt dark. This is easily fixed by opening the shades and taking in the beautiful mountain sun! This place was amazing and we'd go back anytime. The owners were also very easy to work with.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family rented the condo (10 of us in all) to have a weekend getaway. The condo was great, we all slept comfortably, and the location was fantastic. We enjoyed the summer activities right outside the condo (alpine slide, trampoline, zip line, putt putt), and we also enjoyed the amenities of the lodge - free breakfast, great margaritas, and the pool right downstairs. Will definitely rent here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Our group of 4 adults and 3 kids stayed over Thankgiving and with the well stocked kitchen was able to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal (we did bring the roasting pan). Can't say enough about how well equiped the whole place was for all of us. The ski locker came in very handy too. Super comfy beds, plenty of linens, and a Wii to boot. Once you stay here you'll wonder why you ever stayed anywhere else!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This condo is spacious, very nicely appointed, nice bedrooms, large bathrooms, large living room and kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy.It was a wonderful four days. Location is perfect by the ski lift, right on the center of the village activities including bungee/trampoline, rock climbing and wheeled carts on a track down the mountain. They even have a mechanical bull ride. The condo has wonderful tv's in every room, Wii tv games and board games for all ages. Close to Durango with the train to Silverton--the most beautiful mountain train ride in the US. Nice pool with a slide outside of the building with this condo. A nice restaurant and bar exclusive to the condo tennants. The Mesa Verde caves are close and absolutely stunning, as is the entire area. The owners gave us many suggestions of things to see and do. Very honest, knowledgeable and honorable people that we enjoyed dealing with. This condo was so nice and convenient that all three generations had a great time and would recommend 336505 to anyone. You will not be disappointed. The property delivers even more than the listing says. It is tops in our book.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Everything about this condo and the rental experience was top-notch! The owners were incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. The condo itself was extremely clean, comfortable and well-appointed with all the comforts of home. We stayed with 2 young children and extended family... there was plenty of room for everyone and it was very quiet. The location was excellent with plenty of activities at the resort within walking distance. There were also many amenities such as a pool, fitness center, continental breakfast, deli, etc. You will not be disappointed and we definitely hope to return soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time spending a long weekend during the summer at this fabulous condo in a fabulous property! The condo was perfect for two familes with kids. We truly enjoyed the spacious living room and kitchen where we spent both early mornings and late evenings. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds. The accomodations were top notch and had everything we could need during our stay. The condo exceeded our expectations in every way! We would stay here again in a heart beat. The Purgatory Resort had a plethora of activities for the summertime and the kids enjoyed all of them.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed June 11-18, 2011. It was a motorcycle ride for my husband and a couple of his friends. The place was perfect. It was our first VRBO rental and Jennifer made it so easy. The unit was incredibly clean, well furnished. Quiet -quietest condo I have ever stayed at - and trust me there have been quite a few. The guys even played WII. Loved having a grill. The views are very good, even saw a cattle drive the last morning. The summer activities were up and running, I enjoyed sitting on the balcony, reading and relaxing. We arrived very late and the front desk staff was ready and waiting to help us get settled. We utilized the gym, restaurant and bar. Never saw a frown. Highly recommend the bar downstairs in the owners club and don't miss out on the Schoolhouse just down the road, bummed we did not discover it until the last night. To sum it up. The rental is amazing, don't miss out on this one. From the moment we walked in the door we felt blessed by our surroundings. We really couldn't believe our eyes (the pictures do not come close to how beautiful and warm this place is). It is very spacious as we had a 4 year old, an 8 year old, 2 12 year olds, 2 17 year olds, a 19 year old and 2 married couples and we never once felt crowded. Each bedroom has it's own tv and there was a Wii system in the livingroom as an added blessings to entertain the little ones. The kitchen was beyond equipped to take care of all of our needs (as we cooked most of our meals while staying). There was enough seating for everyone with the bar stools and the extra large dining table. We were able to wash towels and swim suits in the washing machine and dryer. Two of my favorite things about this condo were 1) turning on the fireplace when it became cool at night and 2) the view from the balcony...absolutely breath taking. The kids were forever in the pool and loved every moment of it, not to mention the alpine slide....they rode for hours. If you are looking for a perfect place to spend quality time with your family and friends, then you need not to look further. I would also like to say that Jennifer is an amazing owner and she was a blessing from the very first question I had all the way to after our stay. We had the pleasure of staying in this condo for Spring Break 2011 and were nothing but excited and very pleased! The condo itself is fantastic, and the owners went out of their way to accommodate any and all of our requests and answer any questions that we had.The listing description and pictures are accurate, but condo even better than pictures! The condo easily accommodated our joint families of four adults and four children ages 7-11 with plenty of room. Two sets of bunk beds in one of the bedrooms is perfect for children. Dining table large enough for all of us to enjoy meals together at the same time, and kitchen is fully stocked. Excellent access to ski slopes, equipment rentals, and the ski locker assigned to unit very convenient. Loved the convenience of the jacket and boot area right inside the front door, and the full size washer and dryer very nice! Overall, it was a fantastic week and we look forward to returning to DMR and this condo next year! Would highly recommend this condo to a friend/family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We just stayed here in March and the condo was immaculate, as well as very comfortable and tastefully furnished. Great location, ski in ski out!! The staff at the DMR was so pleasant and accommodating. What a pleasure for our vacation! We have stayed in Durango at rentals at the mountain for 4 years and this was by far the nicest one!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This was our first trip to Durango, Colorado, and it could not have been more perfect. The location absolutely cannot be beat. Our son (age 12) and his friend stayed on the slopes all weekend, and if they needed a quick break or a snack, the condo is just a few minutes’ walk to get refueled and head back to the slopes. The condo is the perfect get away for kids and adults alike. It is immaculate, cozy and very comfortable. It is equipped with every kitchen gadget you could possibly need for indoor cooking and the perfect outdoor grill and patio to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while waiting on dinner. The Lodge itself provides an exercise room (as if you don't get enough during your ski adventure), a heated outdoor pool (which we loved), and an outdoor cabana to enjoy a cocktail and a snack at the foot of the slopes. If you ever take advantage of this beautiful condo and its breathtaking surroundings.....you will never want to leave. It truly is a little piece of heaven.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We've stayed at several different places in Durango and this was by far the best. The location can't be beat. Our kids went from the slopes to snacks in the condo and back to the slopes within 15 minutes. The condo is wonderful - extremely clean and comfortable. The Lodge is also top notch. After skiing all day, we'd spend a little time in the hot tub, have dinner in the condo and then fondue at Purgy's (the restaurant in the Lodge). I can't recommend this place highly enough. It was a perfect vacation and we'll definitely be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We love Durango Mountain Resort! It's so beautiful, and offers something for everyone. The location of this property is great. Literally, you can walk to and from the ski lifts; a perk that can't be underestimated for groups with kids, or others who want to ski half days while others are all day skiers.
