  We just got home a few days ago from our Galveston vacation. Staying here beats staying at a hotel any day. It was 4 adults and 2 small children. We were all comfortable and had plenty of room and privacy. Ronda has great taste in decor and furnishings. It was close to everything we planned to do. We strategically planned to stay close to Moody Gardens, the beach, and restauraunts, so that we could get back to the condo in time for our boys to take their naps. It worked out perfectly. Never heard the neighbors. Very quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The master bedroom fit our pack n play perfectly at the end of the bed for our son. He also learned to climb and get down stairs while we were there. He was pretty proud, as we were. :) The washer and dryer were so helpful. We just couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Places to eat: Cafe Michael Burger was perfect for a quick bite the evening we arrived. MUST MUST MUST try The Sunflower Cafe. Don't leave without getting a dessert! Ben & Jerry's ice cream shop was a great end to our last evening there. Walmart is close by for groceries. Murdoch's is a great souvenier shop where you can sit on the deck and drink an ice cold whatever along side the ocean view.

  We had a great stay. It was perfect for our families. Beds were comfortable. Location was good for the things on our agenda. We will certainly be staying here again. Thank you again Donda!

  Our stay at 'Sea La Vie' was perfect! The rental was clean and well stocked with everything promised. It is a clean property. Owner was always easy to get ahold and fast with answers to our questions. Two couples and 2 teenagers stayed there for 3 nights. Enough space for everyone. The eating area seated 6 which was nice when we sat down to eat together. The property pool was clean and nice. Very close to all Galveston attractions. It was also nice having a washer & dryer in the condo. It was both of our families vacation to rent from this site. We will be using it again! We will be back!

  From the minute we entered Sea La Vie, we felt at home. The decor is beautiful, beds are comfortable and we had everything we needed for a "week at the Beach". The property was clean, the location was perfect as we found that our FAVORITE beach was clear to the West end of the Island and we had easy access to that being West of the Seawall. The customer service was amazing and came in very handy the one and only time we needed it (we locked ourselves out!). The kids enjoyed the pool when we weren't on the beach and we were able to see the fireworks at Moody Gardens from the view in our bedroom. We never once heard noise from the neighbors and everyone we encountered was friendly. I'd recommend this property to anyone. We also would recommend: Ohana surf school (our 12 & 14 year old truly enjoyed that), Ferry ride (free!), The Duck ride (learn a lot about the island and some history), and having lunch at "The Spot" and "Float", both very reasonably priced and tasty food. Don't fall for the overpriced "seafood" restaurants. We were not impressed with Pleasure Pier. $10.00 to just "see the pier" but it was more like entering a carnival. It is just as pretty from outside the gates if you ask me (and that view is free). One bit of advice when traveling to Galveston Island, be prepared with bug spray. The mosquitoes were hungry! Thank you for offering your home on HomeAway. We couldn't have done any better selecting a place to stay from 800 miles away!

  VERY NICE CONDO, ACTUALLY BETTER THAN I EXPECTED, VERY CLEAN, ALTHOUGH ITS ON THE SECOND FLOOR, WE HAD A BLAST ITS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE GULF AND FROM THE BACK BALCONY YOU GET A GREAT OCEAN VIEW, WE HAD A BLAST FISHING AT THE PIER RIGHT DOWN THE STREET, OUR CHILDREN HAD FUN ON THE BEACH EVEN THOUGH IF WE WOULD HAVE EXPLORED MORE OF THE MAIN ROAD COMING IN WE WOULD HAVE FOUND BETTER BEACHES, BUT WAS MY FIRST TIME TO GALVESTON SINCE I WAS A KID AND ALL IN ALL WE HAD A BLAST, AND NEXT TRIP I WILL DEFINATELY BE LOOKING INTO BOOKING THIS SAME CONDO BEFORE LOOKING ELSEWHERE

  Very clean, comfortable. However the description says it is close to the beach, the beach it is close to is not the best beach. We enjoyed our time and would recomend this condo to anyone going. We unfortunately was there when the water was at it's worst, according to someone we met who lives there. I would really like to go back when the water is clear and the only reason I would not stay at this condo is that there is to many steps and my husband had a hard time manuvering.

  Couldn't have been better! Ronda made sure anything I could possibly need ( blankets, towles, ice, etc) was in the condo! The place was super clean, everything was great!

  What a fantastic place to stay! Very clean and beautiful! Although we only stayed for one night, we hope to return to this unit in the future!

  The condo was perfect for our stay during the Lone Star Rally. The location was ideal and the price was great considering most basic hotels were more costly and offered way less. The condo was very clean and fully stocked with everything you might need. The décor was excellent and it made me feel ready to head on out the beach right away! Working with Ronda was excellent. This was a superb stay!
