This is an awesome property with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and the kayak. Kevin was very helpful with any questions we had. Eat breakfast on the patio deck or sit on the dock with a glass of wine. It doesn't get any better! All pictures on the VRBO site are accurate...it is better than advertised!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

this property is exactly as presented. A wonderful log cabin with plenty of room. We stayed with our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren and the three bedrooms were more than adequate. the "Master Loft" was a welcome retreat. Outside the area is open with room for activities. The little bay is secluded enough that there is very little boat noise. We had a minor problem and the owners were extremely prompt and professional in handling this emergency.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a beautiful home located on a very quiet and peaceful bay on Lake Coeur d"Alene. Our week could not have been more relaxing and enjoyable. The home is so comfortable, with some of the best views of the lake one could imagine. The large, grassy yard leads right down to a nice beach and dock. Every evening we were treated to a visit by a doe, and on one occasion she brought along her two fawns. We were two families (the other family was our son's girlfriend's family) and we never felt crowded at all. Our son had planned a big surprise for his girlfriend, and chose the dock as a place to propose to his girlfriend. She said "yes!", and we had quite a celebration. The photos of the property only hint at it's beauty. The home was immaculate in every way. Nice sized kitchen, great BBQ on the deck, and very comfy furniture to sit and take afternoon naps. Lots to do here, including ping pong, kayaking, badminton, listening to music, or lounging on the nice sized beach. We had friends with a ski boat, and they were able to pull right up to the dock for boarding for a spin on the lake. It's only a 20-30 minute drive into CdA, where there are many fine restaurants, shops, and access to the beach and water sports. We will recommend this place to friends and family in a heart beat, and hope to make our way back there again in the future. Thanks so much, Kevin, for making our stay so memorable.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Beautiful part of the lake to stay on, quiet, private, and relaxing. Cabin was very comfortable... we enjoyed staying in and cooking our meals rather than eating out. Fishing on the lake was fantastic. Location is only minutes from town. Cabin is close to Ironman route as well - our reason for visiting. In-laws are big travelers and they were impressed. I highly recommend this charming cabin!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Not all properties on VRBO are exactly "as advertised" -- but this was the real deal. It is on a very quiet cove on the lake. I'm not partial to the sound of jet skis roaring right outside my door, and this place afforded that protection. They were there -- but in the distance. What a relief. We sat every morning on the deck and watched ospreys fishing, swallows looping, and hummingbirds buzzing right up to our noses. The master bedroom is a wonderful loft with a most comfortable bed. I was there with my niece and my daughter and we all had our own spaces, but this would easily be a very comfortable spot for a larger family. We took full advantage of the kayak on the property and also took long swims every day. The neighbors were friendly. We barbequed and played wicked games of dominoes every night on the deck. The sun hits early in the morning and stays all day. We were there at a particularly warm time, and it was heaven. This is a classic log cabin that stays cool on the inside even while it's warm outside. The ceiling fans are a comfort. The whole place just exudes relaxation. Internet connections are spotty -- both for phone and computer. Personally, I found this a blessed relief...I was able to hold my clients off for TWO full days! Wow!... and actually had some quality time with the niece since she wasn't constantly texting. If you were thinking about this spot for a "working vacation" however, you will be frustrated by that. Let it go -- it's worth it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed at this property with some of our family. The pictures don't really do justice to the location, spaciousness, and convenience this property has to offer. The 3 bedrooms are very comfortable, and having a bathroom on each floor of the house is very convenient. We had a large family BBQ (almost 40 people) which went extremely well because the house and the amenities such as the BBQ Grill, exterior seating, water toys, etc. were perfect for such an event. The house sits right on Everwell Bay so you have direct access to the water if you want. The kids loved the water and the kayak. Mornings were wonderful as we could sit on the deck and watch osprey catching their morning meals! Getting into Coeur d'Alene and surrounding attractions from the property takes only a few minutes. The home is very clean and well organized and the landlords do everything they can to make you comfortable. Definitely a "keeper" in my VRBO file.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The house is in a perfect location! It is right on the lake and super close to town. You can hang out on the dock, fish, play horseshoes, have a cook out, roast marshmellows over the camp fire and many other fun things all with out leaving the house. The owners were great and very helpful. They really wanted to make sure that we had an excellent stay in their home. We would stay there again if we go back to CDA!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Great VRBO renters...left house in great shape. Thank you so much.

We came all the way from Annapolis, Maryland to spend the week in beautiful Coeur d' Alene. We met up with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson to spend a relaxing week on a lake. The house is as beautiful as it looks in the picture. It was quite comfortable and had everything we needed. I got some of the best sleep I've had in a while. The owners reside in Coeur d' Alene and were available to answer any questions we had. I would have been happy just staying "at home" in the lake house but we really enjoyed the fishing. Frisky Jennie's picked us up from the dock at the house and we spent the day on the lake chasing fish. We also went horseback riding at Rider Ranch and got to go through mountain trails and see some beautiful country. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend a great week in a beautiful part of the country.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.
