Get away from it all. This cottage is secluded and tucked away from it all. Located on the Bogua Falaya River, you can walk down the trail to the river to fish and relax for the day. On the back of the house you will enjoy and a HUGE open deck over looking beautiful tree tops, truly relaxing. You will feel like you are camping in the city.
Inside you will find a cottage fully furnished with Antiques and hardwood floors. You will enjoy 2 bedrooms, one with a Queen size bed the other features a Futon. If additional sleeping is needed we will provide a blow up mattress. 2 full baths and a full kitchen. Enjoy cable TV or the wireless internet.
Want a little excitment ? The city of Covington is minutes away bustling with antique shopping, malls and restaurants. You are also only 40 minutes north of New Orleans where you can visit the Historic New Orleans French Quarter, The Audubon Zoo, Aquarium, or Insectarium, World Famous Restaurants, Golfing, visit beautiful City Park, The World World II Museum, Childrens Museum, ride the Hisoric Street Cars, or eat beignets at the French Market.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here last weekend! All of the woodworking throughout the house and the huge clawfoot tub with rain shower are gorgeous. (Though it did take me a minute to figure out how to work the shower.) We were furnished with plenty of towels and wineglasses and there was even some firewood waiting next to the pot belly stove. We didn't get to cook out or make a fire in the back due to rain, but we did get to listen to the storm on the tin roof. The fact that there is a Rouses (local grocery store) five minutes away is a huge amenity. Downtown covington has some awesome restaurants, also VERY nearby. The owner Kevin, as very nice and responsive by text with any questions we had. 5 star experience.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We had a great time in Covington - this house has a great location to explore the surrounding areas. Nice wooded property with lots of trees and a great deck on the back. The owner was very helpful in addressing our questions and concerns. Nice people and very relaxing town !!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+.
