This lovely, newly renovated home is located just 6 blocks from the best beach in Rehoboth, in a quiet residential neighborhood adjacent to the beautiful Silver Lake area.
Walk or bike into town and enjoy shopping, dining and the endless activities of the boardwalk . In addition, we are a short drive to state parks, boating, fishing, golf, outlet shopping, and movie theaters.
The amenities include: ceiling fans throughout, a modern full service kitchen with seating for 6, a master bedroom suite with a queen bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed and a third bedroom with two twin beds. There is a laundry room/office, large family room with HD TV, and a lovely sun room overlooking the beautiful gardens and waterfall pond. Another great feature is the multi-level deck with awnings for outside dining or for just relaxing in the sun.

I couldn't begin to say enough about every single aspect of this absolutely lovely home and our overall experience, from our first email with Patti to the minute we sadly had to close the door behind us at the end of our three weeks. This house is not your typical rental home in any way! Every detail has been thoughtfully taken care of and the decor and furnishings are extremely pretty, welcoming and comfortable. The home was recently renovated and it all felt so clean and fresh. The layout is perfect for families with small children, which we have two of, and having everything on one floor was a huge plus. We found that driving (rather than walking) to the beach was easiest, with young kids and all the gear, but parking at the beach could not have been easier (at the Silver Lake end, which is closest to the house) and it's literally a two minute drive. The neighborhood is quiet and beautifully maintained and the drive to town was only slightly longer than to the beach, making getting around a cinch. We also loved going to the park and playground on Silver Lake (about a 10-15 walk from the house), which quickly became a daily activity. Bring bread to feed the ducks, geese and turtles! There is one small room in the house which isn't shown in the photos, which is a small office/laundry room. This was an unexpected gem, giving us just a bit more room, and allowing us to put our 21 month old's crib in there, so that night wakings wouldn't disturb our other daughter in the room with twin beds. Also, the sunroom is a really wonderful plus and could not be more cheerful or welcoming. The family room (which is right off the kitchen) is great - good-sized and with very nice furnishings, and then to have the sunroom off of that really gave the house a more spacious feel. The photos listed are very accurate, but it is all even lovelier in person. Last, this review would not be complete without saying how our amazing vacation was made that much more memorable by our interactions with Patti, the owner. She is by far the warmest, friendliest, most responsive, accommodating owner I have ever encountered. We have already booked for next summer and can't wait to be back at The Little House!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

What a great house! We had everything we needed and appreciated the nice decor and comfortable and clean house. It was really nice to be at the beach but to have such a great house to rest and relax in - it had everything we needed and in such a nice cute neighborhood. Not the "beachy" houses I was used to from 20 years ago - your place was so nicely decorated and so easy to live in. My girls loved the waterfall, and the options to walk/bike/drive to the beach worked really well for us. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The house was perfect for our group. The location was great, it was close enough to walk to the beach and "downtown" but without the hassle of being crowded. We have a small child and a lot of stuff to bring to the beach so we decided to get a permit and drive to the beach most days but it was less than a 3 minute drive. The house had a lot of nice extra's to make us feel at home and fully stocked kitchen made it easy for us to make meals at home. The owner was great to deal with and very attentive when we had a small issue getting the internet working. We will definitely be back next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Very clean, comfortable property. Great location-ideal for teenage kids to safely ride bikes to beach & boardwalk. Or purchase a parking permit and drive 3 minutes to park right near beach. Tastefully decorated with wonderful covered deck. Kitchen provided everything we needed-will most definitely rent again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

About the owner: I am an Interior designer who resides in Annapolis, MD. We renovated this home and enjoy all aspects of it and our time at the beach. Rehoboth is such a unique place, it really has something for everyone.
Why the Owner Chose Rehoboth Beach:
It's a great town with so much going on and lots of friendly people. The beaches are clean and there are tons of great restaurants and shopping. Boating and fishing opportunities are a short drive away as well as kayaking, sailing and surfing just south of Dewey Beach.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
It's quiet and relaxing and free from the downtown crowds but still just a short distance away. There are awnings over both deck levels for comfort sitting outside, a pondless waterfall in the flower garden and a newly fenced back yard area.
The front sunroom transitions to a screened in porch when the sliding doors are open. It's nice to dine or play cards/games out there while listening to the waterfall.
We have a new HD TV in the family room plus sectional sofa and recliner. The house is cheerful and very cozy.
Fully stocked kitchen makes cooking enjoyable. Plenty of extra glassware for your favorite drink or wine!
