Why the Owner Chose Mountain Harbor ResortWe LOVE Lake Ouachita!! It is the most beautiful, serene, clean lake that we have ever seen. We also love trees. The Mountain Harbor area is the perfect combination of both these things. We live in Hot Springs Village, AR which is about one hour away. It is a perfect distance to allow us to enjoy the condo on a regular basis. We enjoy boating and fishing, hiking and biking. This area provides us with the opportunity to do all the things we love. We also were very impressed with Mountain Harbor Resort. It is a first class operation with emphasis on customer service. The restaurant, spa and marina are places we frequent and appreciate having close to the condo.
The Unique Benefits at this CondoThe Mountain Harbor Resort area is in the Lake Ouachita National Forest. The location allows us to enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, biking and bird watching. Though we don't ride four-wheelers many of the owners at the condos do enjoy this activity. There is also a horseback riding stable nearby that offers trail rides through the forest. The Turtle Cove Spa is just around the corner and we enjoy the spa services. We also frequent the Mountain Harbor Restaurant which has great food. Mostly, we enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. We love sitting by the fire in the cool weather and enjoying morning coffee on the screen porch in the warm weather.
Owner's Map of Mountain Harbor Resort
My husband and I retired to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, in 2006 from the Detroit area. My huband worked at Ford for 33 years and during his career we were fortunate to have lived in Australia and England. Having seen a lot of the world, we think Arkansas is one of the most beautiful states and a well-kept secret. I worked for 20 years as an Emergency Room nurse. When I realized it was time for a change I decided to go into real estate investing and thus into vacation rentals. I also own property in the Branson, MO area. We have two children - our son lives in San Francisco and our daughter lives in Washington DC. We also have a beautiful Golden Retriever named Phoebe. Customer service and cleanliness are our top priorities. We want you to enjoy your stay at our special retreat .Our family has special memories from our family vacations and hope that you will have many heart-warming memories from your stay at our Mountain Harbor Condo.

Noreen, we did exactly what you told us to do - RELAX! What a wonderful home away from home. Even though we live only a few short hours from here, we completely escaped our hectic lives back home and just let everything go into "relaxation mode". Your condo is perfect for not only me and my husband to just get away for a few days but to enjoy our family here together in the very near future. We will happily recommend your place to our family and friends and we will definitely be back. Your hospitality has been more than phenomenal. Thank you for making our vacation effortless!!

Thank you for sharing your condo with us for the second time. The kids had a great time again. We played with the tic-tac-toe board and the bingo game. The kids had fun making donuts with your new donut maker. We went through the donuts quickly! Everything was very enjoyable and relaxing. This time we used the fireplace since the temps were cool at night. All was very nice. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo. You have thought of everything. We so enjoyed spending our 8th anniversary here. Everything is so nice and clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed playing tennis as well. Thank you for taking care of the flowers for Kenneth. They were gorgeous! We will definitely be back again! It is hard to leave this place. The weather was perfect, just like the condo. We really thank you for the goodies and smidgen spoons you left for us.

Felt Like Personal Guests of Very "Gracious" Host

After driving all day long, we arrived - cold and tired. When we walked through the door everything was "lovely" and kept getting better as we toured through the condo. We put our things down, built a warm fire, had a glass of wine and put our feet up! We felt like personal house guests of a very "gracious" host. Everything has exceded our expectations ~ staying here has been the best part of our trip. Thanks for everything, especially the "treat" basket with gift!

Our Family Really Enjoyed your Peaceful Condo

Our family really enjoyed your peaceful, beautiful condo. The touches throughout made for an enjoyable stay for our family of five. The screened in porch made for wonderful, relaxing moments amidst some perfect fall temperatures. We took advantage of the tennis and basketball courts below the porch and thanks for the balls and rackets for our athletic adventures. The WiFi and televisions were perfect amenities for our family to keep in touch just enough with our regular life back home. A highlight for the children were the horseback rides through the forest where we saw deer and other wildlife among some beautiful fall scenery.

We thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful condo. Our family has been going to Lake Ouachita at least once a year for almost 20 years. Yours is the most wonderful place we have ever stayed! The space was perfect for our family and the little touches made us feel so welcome. We especially appreciated the late check-out time. Thanks so much for your gracious hospitality.

This was a fabulous condo!! I loved all the extras! I could have baked anything - thank you for thinking of everything. We enjoyed the screen porch and beautiful interior and outdoor living space. The kids loved having a room with a TV. We enjoyed the lake and hot temperatures - 108 degrees! Thanks for going above and beyond for us. This is a great home-away-from-home. Hope to see you soon.

Wow! What a wonderful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to beautiful Lake Ouachita. Your condo was wonderful - the kids loved having their own room with a TV and DVD player. The kitchen was great - just like at home. And the screened porch - great to enjoy the sounds of the woods. We have certainly marked this spot as a super vacation spot. Thanks again for your hospitality - the treats were a nice touch and the kids loved it. Thanks again for a wonderful time.
