This rental property can compare to a Relais de Chateux . The moment you arrive you are surrounded with beauty, luxury, and comfort. Needless to say we already are planning our return visit!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Had the bst time ever at this beautiful property. Carlos was great explaining all the amenities and taking us on a tour of the area. We had 3 families totaling 13 people in the group. The property was very spacious where adults had an area to relax and not be bothered by kids and the kids had their own space to be just kids. We definitely will be back next year.Recommended for: Families with young children

I can't say enough about how wonderful our Thanksgiving stay was at this beautiful home. We needed a place to stay for our party of 9 people at the last minute because our other home rental fell through and Laurie, the owner, kindly accommodated us. The house is very impressive when you drive up on the outside. The inside is immaculate and had plenty of room for all of us. My husband and I had the master which was huge and had a beautiful large bathroom with a shower and a jacuzzi tub. The outdoor spa is just outside the sliding glass doors of the master. Our 22 year old daughter stayed in the study off the master bedroom in their very high quality blow up queen bed and was very comfortable. Our 17 year old son slept on the couch in the living room and was also very comfortable - all 6 foot 5 inches of him! The rest of the party slept in the other two bedrooms and were very happy with them. As for the back of the house outside, it was absolutely beautiful! We took pictures of everyone and used them in our Christmas card this year. I can see why they have weddings here. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner at the house and had pretty much everything I needed at my fingertips, including spices and a roasting pan. We were able to eat outside since the weather was so warm - in the mid 60's - and it made the dinner that much more special. The game room was awesome! We played poker, bumper pool and board games. Everyone had so much fun! Some of the group did some fishing at the lake, which wasn't far from the home, and had a great time. The location was close to everything - grocery store, downtown shopping, restaurants etc. We brought back pizza from 'No Name' down the street one night and it was delicious! My 82 year old father in law commented with a tear in his eye that this was the best family vacation getaway he had ever had. Thank you so much Laurie, for your hospitality and for sharing your wonderful home. We rented this cabin for Friday and Saturday and had our wedding Saturday night. It poured rain Saturday morning and I freaked but it cleared up just in time for the caterer to set up. They were extremely helpful in getting everything lined up. I was even able to go back a couple times to check things here and there. The wedding was perfect and it couldn't have been more perfect. I would totally recommend this place. It was definitely my dream wedding location!!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our family of 14 rented this house/cabin/mansion for 3 days & 2 nites. It was PERFECT!! The front & back yards are each large enough to facilitate large games (like soccer & frisbee). The wrap around deck in the back yard allows people to eat together or find a quiet reading space for themselves. The jacuzzi was the PERFECT spot for everyone together after wandering around town, going for a hike, playing in the yard, or eating. The large game room, living room, dining room, & multiple bedrooms provided a plethora of space to play cards & other games, talk, & /or sleep. The kitchen had more than enough space for multiple cooks & an audience. :) It also came fully stocked with dishes & all the appliances you would need. The landscaping & 2 flowing brooks into 2 ponds made for incredibly beautiful & peaceful mornings & evenings, & added to the overall calming affect of the house. WE CANNOT SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH OF THIS HOUSE & WE WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE VISITING AGAIN. my group of 10 had an AMAZING time here! the pictures does not do justice. there were more than enough beds and definitely more than enough room! literally a 7min drive from big bear resort. NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE HOUSE. My only complaint, however, is the 10am check out. We're on vacation, we should be able to sleep in! Jeanne and Laurie were very easy to work with! i would gladly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a vacation getaway!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

30th Birthday Weekend with Friends January 31, 2012 The pictures online do not do this house justice! It was perfect for entertaining family and friends. The great room is ideal for games, conversations by the fire, and big enough for everyone to hang out. The kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you need to cook family dinners. The backyard is georgous (we actually took family pictures by the ponds). All of the bedding and towells were high quality with plenty of extras. The owners made renting this cabin easy. This is a beautiful home on a great estate. Our three kids had a great time playing in the backyard snow, basketball in the front yard and time in the jacuzzi. With four adults and three kids we had plenty of space to enjoy time with the family. This home has everything you need and more. The Fox Farm area is a great location with near by resorts, restaurants, grocery stores and Starbucks. We look forward to our next Big Bear visit and would highly recommend this home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Our entire family (12 total) stayed here to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. It easily accommodated all of us. There was plenty of room for all of us to just hang out and cook together or play games in the gazebo. Weather was perfect. Kids loved the hot tub too. Not a single detail was left out. We had a wonderful time at the house. It was just beautiful. The location was close to town, the ski slopes, walking trails, and the lake. The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. It was very spacious for entertaining, playing games and watching TV. The selection of DVDs had such a variety to choose from. The owner was a pleasure to work with in planning our vacation. You bet we will be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.
