This is the best in Pointe Santo! Renovation completed in September, 2011. New stainless steel appliances, new mattresses and linens provide you with all of the comforts of home. You'll love it here as you relax in the tropical, Tommy Bahama style furnishings. With our location on the 3rd floor, you'll be able to take in a GREAT VIEW of the beautiful lush grounds, lagoon, pool, and beach! You will love the breath taking sunsets on the beach. Your assigned parking space as well as the elevator which lets you out right by our front door, will make it convenient for your family to unload groceries, luggage, etc. Five ceiling fans throughout the condo will keep you comfortable on warm days. We provide a very well equipped kitchen including place settings for up to 12, loads of glassware, cookware, etc. If you are going to eat in, you will LOVE it! Lots of books, games, dvds, and puzzles are provided for all ages in case of that rare rainy day. Beach towels and beach chairs are provided so you may leave yours at home. A bike path is located just outside the complex and extends 22 miles throughout Sanibel and Captiva. Be sure to visit the many island style restaurants and shops, all of which are within a couple of miles of the condo. Walk 1/4 mile up the beach to a wonderful pool bar/restaurant for lunch, dinner, or cocktails. Hike, bike, paddle, boat, or drive through Ding Darling, a national wildlife refuge home to thousands of birds of many species. Travel writer, Arthur Frommer ranks Sanibel #1 on his favorite places in the world to visit, ranking above Bali (#2) and Paris (#3)! Sanibel is known for its shelling and our wide beach provides some of the best finds on the island. Pointe Santo is at the southern most tip of Sanibel Island.with 600 feet of beach frontage. This accounts for a greater beach width compared to other complexes. This is a weekly rental, Saturday-Saturday.

We spent a week in this very comfortable condo. It is well stocked with everything one needs for a relaxing beach vacation. The entire complex is very well maintained with BBQ grills conveniently located for easy grilling. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the birds in the pond and the view of the ocean. The deck gets the morning sun so it is bright and cheerful and then shaded during the afternoon, perfect for your post-beach cocktail hour.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My college girlfriends and I have visited Sanibel annually for five years and we always come back to the same condo! This condo not only sits close to the ocean, has a wonderful view and pool, but it's cleanliness is noticeable immediately. The condo is also very updated and provides all the essentials to cook a simple meal or a gourmet feast - which my girlfriends and I love. Overall, we will visit again and have been extremely pleased with this condo - and I know most people would be too!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a fantastic vacation! Sanibel holds a special place in my heart, and this unit certainly did NOT disappoint on my most recent venture to the island! I took a trip with some old college roommates this spring down to Sanibel, and we had the times of our lives. We were able to enjoy home-cooked meals in the condo's gorgeous kitchen (with plenty of tupperware and storage for leftovers!). We toasted champagne to the gorgeous sunsets out on the beach right in front of the complex, and we played games on the screened-in lanai, soaking up every bit of sunshine and warmth Sanibel had to offer. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were gorgeous and spacious! We will absolutely be returning to this unit for our next reunion!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I stayed in this unit for a week in November, 2012 and had an amazing time. This unit had everything we could have wanted during our week-long stay in Sanibel. From a great kitchen and cooking supplies to beach chairs and comfortable beds, I found myself right at home staying in this unit. Besides the fantastic location and views (which were spectacular), what I appreciated most about the unit was its cleanliness. It was obvious immediately upon walking into the unit that it is taken care of -- definitely a requirement when staying in a rental condo. Thanks for a great stay, and are already counting down the days until we can stay this unit again!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our vacation to Sanibel was perfect. We have visited Sanibel for the past 11 years and the Condo here was one of the best. We appreciated the updated kitchen and all the great cookware. We did alot of cooking in and this made it easy. We had breakfast every morning on the lanai with the sun beaming in watching the ocean. Total paradise !!! It was great to have beach chairs that we could bring down right near the ocean. Nothing like sitting with an ocean breeze and a good book. Thank you again and we will look forward to returning hopefully in 2014.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We live in Florida, and Sanibel Island is our favorite place for a close-to-home getaway. If you are looking for lots of action and nightlife, then it's not for you. But if, like us, you want a peaceful place to enjoy nature and to relax, then you will love it. I particularly love the bike path that spans practically the entire island, which makes biking safe and enjoyable. Captiva Island doesn't have this, as far as I know. The Pointe Santo de Sanibel condo complex is in a great location; we have stayed at a few other units here but this one was by far our favorite. First of all, it is CLEAN, which is my top priority. It is also well furnished and well maintainted. All the appliances worked great and we had everything we needed to prepare full meals. For dinners out we recommend Doc Fords and The Timbers, both for great seafood. A big thank you to the condo owners and the rental agency, whose attentiveness and attention to detail made this a perfect stay for us. Can't wait to return!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My husband, son, daughter-in-law and I stayed in this condo at Pointe Santo during Thanksgiving week.Talk about a perfect setting to give thanks! The pictures and description of the condo on this site describe the condo perfectly – the condo is immaculate, spacious and has an excellent location. The condo has all the kitchen supplies one needs to make any type of meal. Our Thanksgiving meal turned out great! The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent – the beds were so comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious and very clean. The best part of the condo is its location. Right across the street is a beautiful sidewalk that goes all around the island. Many mornings, my family and I would walk just a short 10 minutes to the Over Easy Cafe for breakfast. Also, the condo is right on the beach, which made finding time to sunbath or relax very easy and convenient. On the enclosed lanai, you can sit, relax and view the pool and beautiful sunsets. Also, during our stay, my husband and I enjoyed kayaking at the Ding Darling Wildlife refuge, and biking around the island. Honestly, there was not a want for anything during our stay. All of us felt comfortable; a perfectly relaxing home away from home. The only problem would be that we only stayed for one week! I would recommend this condo to any of my family or friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

You have a truly beautiful condo! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. The weather this week has been a bit chilly for southernn Florida but the beauty of the beach and property more than made up for it. We are friends from Texas and Massachusetts who have been meeting in Florida first of November for 10 years. Sanibel has been one of our favorite places and we look forward to returning next year. Especially loved seeing your family photos. Thanks again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

Thank you for a wonderful week on Sanibel. Our family had an amazing time and we enjoyed being together in your beautiful condo. It was so nice and clean and felt like home for the week. We love Pointe Santo and your condo is the nicest one we have stayed in. We are all tan and relaxed now and no one wants to go home. We loved the lighthouse beach and getting ice cream at Pinocchio's. Our favorite thing was to just relax by the pool and swim in the ocean right by Pointe Santo. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3
