Just arrived home after our trip to the mountains. We are frequent travelers to the Smoky mountains and have become very picky about the cabins we rent. This one fit the bill very well. The pictures of the cabin are very accurate. We found the cabin very clean and well cared for. In traveling to many different cabins we have found that most kitchens are very basic. We have accumulated the things most kitchens don't have in a special tote that we take with us every trip. This is one of the few trips we could have left that tote home! the kitchen was well stocked with quality items. The furniture was very nice quality and very comfortable. The beds were also very comfy. No trouble sleeping here! We always looked for a pool table before, but that has now changed! We loved the ping pong table!! The air hockey table was also lots of fun. Can't really say enough about the cabin. It was wonderful!! Thanks for sharing your home with us. We will certainly return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Excellent cabin! Loved the location and the views! Highly recommend to anyone that wants to get away but still be close enough to the fun! We had a great time at Happy Trails. Our kids loved the hot tub and the wrap around porch was the perfect spot for them to ride their tricycles.The beds were wonderful. Only downside is the bathrooms are pretty small. Amy was wonderful to work with and we will definatly be going back again. Thank you for a wonderful time. Recommendations: Applewood Farms (lunch was amazing) and JT Hannahs for dinner was also great :)Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

What an amazing retreat! I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and accommodating place of refuge. So glad that we revisited Happy Trails. It is by far my favorite place to stay in the area!!!! My family rented this beautiful cabin last minute and the owners were very accommodating and fantastic to work with. We enjoyed every aspect of this wonderful home. My husband still talks about how comfortable the bed was. Easy drive to to all the fun stuff. No crazy winding mountain roads but the view from the porch is breathtaking. We didn't want to leave and plan on returning.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Wow, what a great cabin!! Amy, thank you for your hospitality. It is a wonderful cabin just a couple miles from the Five Oaks Outlets and many fine restaurants. However, you feel like you are away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. The putt-putt golf course around the gated pool was great. We ate at Apple Barn, Calhoun's and Bull Fish and all were fantastic. The hot tub was great and the entire complex is very well maintained. We could not have asked for a better 3 nights. It's too bad all good things must end. Our week of paradise was here and gone before we knew it. With so many things to do in the area, it seemed like we were only there a few days and we would have certainly loved to have stayed longer. We will return for a longer period and would positively recommend this cabin to anyone with children. From the ping-pong and air-hockey matches at night to the coffee on the porch and watching the eagles flying in the morning, The view is breathtaking......WE LOVED IT!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had a wonderful visit! Thanks for making your home such a special place for families to come and stay—a piece of Heaven. The zipline was incredible—now checked off our bucket list—but hope to do again sometime! You were right Wears Valley had great guides, terrific lines, etc. We enjoyed the Smoky M. About the owner: My husband and I are both Pharmacists. We have 2 girls and we LOVE to travel! We have just recently introduced our girls to hiking. That is now a favorite hobby of ours and is why we named the cabin HAPPY TRAILS! When we are not in the Smoky Mountains you can find us trail riding with our horses or caring for our many farm animals ranging from dogs, goats, chickens, hoses and even peacocks!

Our family has been coming to the Smoky Mountains for years and it holds a special place in our hearts. We love enjoying all the unique outdoor opportunities this area offers. It does not matter what the season is, you can always find something to do for entertainment. We chose this cabin at Bear Creek Crossing due to its convenient location, awesome views, amenities and security features.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
I love my morning coffee here at the cabin. It is so enjoyable to walk around holding my warm mug while I enjoy looking out each of the different windows. Each one gives a unique view of the nearby mountains.
The on site amenities here are fabulous for families. The walking trail, mini golf and 2 pools by the waterfall are inviting enough to enjoy your stay without ever leaving the resort.
For the times that you do have to venture into Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or the national park our convenient location is priceless. We are just 3 miles from the parkway in Pigeon Forge where you will find major restaurants, outlet malls, and supercenters for all your grocery needs. Our guest info book in the cabin even gives you short cuts on the back roads. We can get you to the national park without EVER getting into the traffic that can occur on the Pigeon Forge Parkway!
