I highly recommend this property! For the price, and the location (right around the corner from the mansion where Jackie Kennedy used to summer :), it simply can't be beat. The description doesn't do it justice and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that 2 of the 3 upstairs bedrooms do in fact have air conditioning. Also, you do have your own grill (no need to share). The neighbors on the other side "surfer boys" as the other reviewer described them were very quiet, we talked to them on the first day and learned that they're old college buddies- mostly all married guys who visit on the weekends from Boston and New York. The whole neighborhood is very quiet, family friendly, and within a 10 minute walk from the beach. Deposit and cleaning fee were returned quickly with no hassle. If I had to think of some complaints it would only be that the bathroom area near the shower is very dark, it needs some sort of light installed over there. Also the driveway is quite narrow so squeezing 2 cars in there was a stretch.

Perfect in every way!
Perfect in every way!
My family of 5 had such a great time in this area.. and a cozy stay in this home! It's really perfect for a family with small kids... Very clean, perfectly located.,, there is a great restaurant blocks away... (but expect a wait) Ann and Glenn were lovely.. and avail at any time to help out, direct and accommodate! They were honest and fair, just a pleasure to work with! It's also one of the only places I saw that I could clean myself, and save on a cleaning fee... (Deposit was returned within a week of our departure in full) I was very impressed with the price and all the amenities. The pictures don't do it justice at all. The only drawback is that the house is divided in half.. (two townhouses) that share a wall..).. and the surfer boys in the adjacent townhouse surfed at the crack of dawn... so being the mother I am.. their footsteps had me wide awake! But outside of that.. everything was perfect! We will absolutely be back next Aug! Thank you again!!! Gina Gian

The photos don't do justice to the beauty of this charming Victorian cottage, decorated in delicate shades of peach and blue by someone with an artistic sense for color. Two bedroooms in this two-story duplex apartment have skylights. It's situated on a beautiful, shady street with other attractive homes, trees, and gardens, about 20 minutes' pleasant walk from Narragansett Town Beach and convenient to a number of small shops and restaurants as well as at least 2 churches (Catholic and Episcopal). There's a nice deck and yard in the back; we looked at the stars from the deck at night. Those who have not been to Narragansett in recent years should be warned that the supermarket is gone from the Pier area, so you will need a car for groceries. Owner met us the first day to make sure everything was OK, which I appreciated. You can't take this for granted: in another cottage where I stayed another year, the owner had been completely unavailable. Negatives: two bedrooms are arranged so that you have to go through one to get to another -- better for family with young kids than for teens or adults who will want privacy from one another. Not recommended for anyone who has trouble with stairs. If you're considering this place, you should probably count on having to pay the cleaning fee, unless you are a habitually neat person who can easily maintain a high standard of cleanliness. The level of cleaning one must do to keep the cleaning fee involves scouring sinks and toilet, etc., which is beyond what I want to spend scarce vacation time doing. All the same, it was well worth the money to stay in this lovely and comfortable cottage.

My family and I have been renting this townhouse for years. We love the location, it is coveniently located near everything resturants, grocery stores, beaches, mini golf etc.. The house is always nice and clean and the owners are great to deal with. This is in a nice quiet neighborhood so I would recommend this house to my friends and family.
