Attaboy...you’ve found it! This non-smoking gulfside home is the epitome of understated elegance. Located adjacent to Rosemary Beach on the south side of 30A, this charming four bedroom, three and a half bath home boasts wall-to-wall windows overlooking the Gulf—the views are incredible!
Slipcovered sofas, white-washed furniture, cherished family accents and estate-sale finds spell casual sophistication and comfort too. The floors are newly refinished hardwoods with throw rugs adding warmth to Attaboy’s shabby-chic style.
The heart of the house is the open living area on the second floor. You’ll love the spacious and airy great room accentuated by ten foot ceilings. With a large antique heart pine farm table, the dining area overlooks Rosemary Beach and the gulf.
The great room is flanked by a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen featuring a long bar with four wooden barstools. Twin doors open from the great room to the second-level balcony with adirondak chairs and a table for outdoor dining. Outdoor speakers allow music to be played on the porches and decks. In the living area, a painted credenza holds a 42 inch, flat screen television, DVD player, VCR, and the controls for the state-of-the-art stereo system. Slipcovered chairs, ottomans and a sofa give this room that “plop down, put your feet up” relaxed feeling.
Attaboy also offers cable internet access with a wireless network (802.11G) so you can log onto the internet from anywhere within 50 yards of the house. Imagine this: You’re sitting on the deck, listening to your favorite music, watching the sunset AND checking your e-mail on your laptop. We love that!
Attaboy has two king-bedded master suites each with high-quality, 100% cotton bedding. Down pillows and duvets, cotton quilts and “memory foam” mattress toppers make for a bed where you can get the rest you deserve. The second floor master has an intimate private balcony and a walk-in closet. The bath features a single sink, granite counter tops, a seated vanity and a large jetted tub with shower. The third floor master has a huge balcony with adirondak chairs and a beautiful gulf view. The bathroom has a separate tiled walk-in shower, his-and-her sinks, granite counter tops, a seated vanity and a large Jacuzzi tub. All of the bathrooms are stocked with large cotton towels so all you need to bring are your beach towels.
On the first floor of Attaboy, there is a queen bedroom with glass doors that lead to the private, heated plunge pool. We did not spare on this room—the bed has all the extra comforts of our master suites. There is an en suite bath with a single sink and a shower/tub. The bunkroom is also on the first floor and features two sets of twin bunks with plenty of space left to play. All of our bedrooms have large televisions, and the bunkroom has an XBox 360 for the kids/adults.
The pool area is surrounded by a tile deck complete with adirondak chairs and a teak dining table that seats six people. An outdoor shower with hot and cold water is located next to the pool. There is a gate that opens to a small path leading you to the Water’s Edge private beach access ten yards away. Can you tell we love it here?
A short walk or bike ride down the quaint, brick-paved streets will take you to shops, restaurants and spas. The Sugar Shack, an old fashioned candy store in Rosemary Beach, is a favorite stop for our family! Attaboy has parking for four with an attached, two-car garage. A full-size washer and dryer are on the first level.

We're on our last day of a week at "Attaboy". This is a great home in a super location. Right next door to Rosemary Beach and Seacrest Beach, we've walked to most everything we needed including great restaurants and shops. Attaboy is comfortable and decorated with unique collectibles. We expecially liked the old doors used as headboards for the beds and the old metal ceiling tiles used as wall hangings. The layout was perfect for our family. Our adult daugher and her best friend had the ground floor level to themselves while our married son had the master on the second floor and we enjoyed the thrid floor master. The balconies were wonderful for enjoying early morning coffee and the cool evening breezes. (We were fortunate to have September weather in August!) The plunge pool was a nice way to cool off after a day on the beach. We've stayed at several homes in Rosemary in the past and Attaboy is similar in quality but is a much better value. A new restaurant find this trip was La Cocina which is a very good Mexican restaurant across the street from Water's Edge. We always enjoy the Cowgirl Kitchen and The Courtyard Wine shop in Rosemary Beach. We look forward to returning to Attaboy!
Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

I love this house! We have stayed in several different properties around Rosemary Beach. This is by far the best house. Very comfortable, clean, well stocked. Will never stay anywhere else again when traveling to Rosemary Beach.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
